Feedback on Ed's Tax Services After One Year…read more Last year, I needed help with my taxes and getting refunds for the past three to four years. I couldn't do it myself because I was pregnant, so I decided to pay Ed for help. I wanted to get back money for at least three years and paid him to try for 4 years. After few months, I never received all the returns. When I checked in with him, Ed complained that calling the IRS takes too much time, and he's too busy to be on the phone with the IRS. Then why did I pay for the service? I even told my family to use him for our business taxes. Now, we need to find someone better. Ed is very good at talking and manipulating. He also is rude. He called my brother a 'old fart'. This gives you an idea of the level of professionalism. I wish I hadn't told people to use Ed. I could have saved time and money using online tax services instead of arguing with Ed. Now, with the new tax year, I need to redo my taxes myself, or pay another accountant, which I can barely afford. I'm telling other moms to be careful and not use Ed for their taxes.

Also claimed a "distribution" must be made from our account every year but didn't say she was gonna sell some of our stock PICKED BY HER and sold off something that was really low but I expected to recover--- losing that money and that opportunity. In plain talk, she thinks we're too stupid to discuss OUR best choices and just goes ahead and makes those for you. Not good. Not recommended.
