This is my favourite location!!! On Old river near Independence High school only a few miles away…read morefrom my house a huge plus!! I normally do business at Panama but wow that local sucks ass now sorry Valley Strong that place needs some customer service updates ;) This location is like a breath of fresh air for me as soon as I walked in! Wow! Smiles, eagerness, genuine personalities!! LOVE IT!! Miss Yessenia was my advisor and she like everyone else i encountered here rocks! Made everything smooth did all the right checks on the trust, checking and money market accounts I was interested in. As most of you know an unfortunate chain of events caused by my family members put my dad almost into foreclosure, drained his bank account and maxed his credit card while he was incapacitated in the hospital in critical condition. They still think they did nothing wrong and can't seem to admit anything even being caught red handed by myself and the police. Not even the police confiscating dad's bank cards from them made them admit anything! But I guess that's normal with people that don't think they should work for a living they have to sponge off of a 75 year old man truly sad... Well fast forward to now I've been nothing but impressed with the service here, fantastic actually!! The money market helps my dad's money from the sale of his house make money a VERY decent amount to help continue to pay for his ongoing dementia care which btw is incredibly expensive! Medicare doesn't cover this! They don't help with his rent in the facility they only cover meds, diapers, nurses visits and bathing by a health aide weekly. So the money market account is essential in helping me pay for his care. Miss Yessenia made this the most stress free seamless process. This is the only location i do business at now. Thank you guys so much!!

Vicki was so pleasant to work with, called us back promptly, answered all of our questions and the paperwork went really Smooth. She even gave us the special refinance deposit in our savings account. The branch is nice and new and I like the fact that when you call you talk to someone and not a computer. That's personal service. I guess those small credit unions is how you get personal service still. Nice touch. But I did think it was kind of odd that when you go in the branch instead of tellers you go in a booth and send your deposit into a tube. Hmm.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Went here to get my taxes done last year kept trying to contact…read moreemployee who did my taxes with no response. Called fiesta this year in February to see what was going on and if I could get any help with the matter, the woman I spoke to let me know that they were not submitted and she just submitted them for me so getting off the phone I thanked her and went about my day. A couple weeks later I received a letter from the IRS regarding all the late fees I owed for them not being submitted when I filed them. I went back into the location and the girl let me know where was no manager on duty she took down my information and said she would have him get back to me. I have now been given the run around for a phone call back from a supervisor for two months now, some of the employees who I had spoken to letting me know the regional manager already stated I would be getting a return for the services that were provided(or lack there of). Today I spoke with Veronica after being on hold for about 20 minutes because I was not going to trust another we will have them call you back situation, she looked into my file stated her notes say they were submitted originally and rejected because they had to retrieve more information from me regarding taxes, then that they were submitted on the date I called the first time. I let her know there is absolutely no way of that being the case because I had to call to get any sort of update and have them actually submitted which the girl told me they were never submitted in the first place I received no notification from the IRS or fiesta that I needed to provide additional information and I also had been trying to contact the guy who did my taxes to see if he could check on the status for me because the IRS website was telling me I never filed. Veronica then notified me the only thing she would be able to do for me is do my taxes for free this tax season which I politely declined, I am not able to receive any sort of refund for the services provided nor the late and penalty fees I'm having to deal with now. Ridiculously unprofessional and will never be recommending or going there again. Guy who did my taxes was named Diego! Currently this situation is being handled they called on Friday stating they would refund me for service provided, interest, and late penalty fees from the IRS. 3/31/25 Update they did end up issuing a refund for services provided and late/ penalty fees + interest.

A 15 minute consultation turned into an hour long conversation with Scott Barks. After our phone conversation, I was already leaning in the direction of going with the firm. The initial face to face meeting as Scott did his presentation sealed the deal for me. The firm takes a holistic approach to the individual as they get to know their client besides the financial assets the client brings. The office staff are great and you feel like family right away. Depending on what you are looking for, I suggest giving them a look to see if the vibe and fit is there. So far the transition has been excellent and walking into the office is always a pleasant feeling. mju

My husband and I do a pretty good job of tracking our expenses and trying to plan for the long run,…read morebut we admittedly don't give it as much time as we should to maximize our returns. We reached out to several financial planners to see if we could get someone to help us better chart our future. This was especially critical as we rapidly approach major life changes like kids and a new home. Barnes was quick to respond, so we moved forward with setting up appointments. Everything has been friendly and casual to this point - they understand our financial personalities and risk tolerance, and have been working diligently to rework some existing accounts to better reflect what we hope to achieve. We have specifically been working with Scott Barks and have loved our interactions thus far. Scott is friendly and down to earth. We're excited to have someone in our corner that can keep a closer eye on our overall financial picture. I've recommended this firm to several friends, be it as a first step in putting together a strong household budget, or planning for retirement 30 years down the line.
