We went with ADU a few years ago when we were remodeling our kitchen. They provided the new cooktop/oven combo and the new refrigerator. It was fine, they were up front and honest about the products and pricing. And they helped us to find a set of appliances that perfectly fit our needs. Four star experience, easily. What makes this a five star review is what happened today. Our refrigerator stopped cooling. It was already out of warranty, but Crystal (sp?) who took my call worked with me and the GE repair team to set up an appointment to get it fixed. She didn't have to do that. She could have just said, "Here's there number, sorry about your fridge." But, she went the extra mile, proactively called GE, and provided them the details so I didn't have to repeat them. Then, she conferenced us in on a call and finalized the details. This... THIS... this is what outstanding customer service looks like. No, I don't have to do anything for you outside of my usual job, but I'm going to because I value you as a customer and I'm sorry you're having this problem with a product we sold you. I can't recommend ADU enough for their customer service, products, and pricing. I will definitely be looking to them first for any appliance needs going forward! read more

I can't say enough good things about the service I received at ADU. David W., at ADU spent over four months helping me pick new appliances that would fit my kitchen. He never tried to upsell me and, in fact, did an excellent job of showing me the full range of options available. I can tell you it was the best sales experience I've ever had in any retail environment. He was knowledgeable not only about the appliances themselves, but how they might work together (or not) and spent a significant amount of time helping me figure out what would actually fit. They also have a huge and beautiful showroom that gives you a great sense of your options and how they might look in your kitchen. read more

Should you be in the market for new appliances, I cannot recommend ADU, and April in particular, enough. Twice now we've placed orders and the company has been just incredible. Last week, our brand new dishwasher arrived damaged and April had a new one in my house within three days. You literally cannot beat that kind of customer service, not to mention everyone is attentive, polite and pleasant in person and on the phone. I won't go anywhere else! read more

I recently bought 2 appliances from Rob Brinker (by phone and email only) and had a TERRIFIC experience. Rob made sure I had the correct models by sending photos and descriptions. But best of all, when they arrived at ADU, Rob held them for us for several months until our cabinetry was installed to accommodate the contractor. This was enormously helpful. The entire transaction was flawless because Rob stayed on top of everything. We so appreciated all the communication and ease of doing business. We won't hesitate to go back to ADU. read more

WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER. APPLIANCES DON'T WORK. I bought a new home and installed all new appliances including Wolf range, Sub-Zero fridge, Speedcook oven and Whirlpool washer/dryer. I spent close to $30k in new appliances from ADU. The washer/dryer were installed Oct 2018 and the units they sold me NEVER worked properly. ADU assumed zero responsibility and made me go through the manufacturer's 800# for service. After 3-4 service visits and 5 months later, my washer/dryer units are STILL NOT working properly. ADU finally agreed to replace my units and they were set to be delivered Dec 28. However, ADU called me 3 subsequent times to tell me the units WOULD NOT be delivered as they were backordered. I patiently waited until the end of Jan 2019 for them FINALLY to be delivered/installed. And guess what...?!?...a piece is missing from the washing machine that prevents it from working properly!! I asked for a refund based on this ridiculous ordeal, which ADU has refused to honor. I have also reached out repeatedly to ADU over the past 2.5 weeks for the owner to give me a call and I keep being told that she is "out of the office" and will call me when she gets back. Some way to treat a customer. I would NEVER WORK WITH ADU AGAIN. read more

We remodeled our kitchen with appliances from ADU except for the refrigerator/freezer, which recently needed replacement. We were able to get the right size to fit within the custom cabinetry; however, a change in design made it impossible to fully open the bottom drawer of the refrigerator given our configuration. The installers were able to come back and remove the drawer so that the space can now be used as a shelf - this second visit handled professionally in five minutes flat! We've been most satisfied with the sales and delivery/installation staff and we'll be sure to return. read more

We ordered four appliances from ADU. We knew exactly what we wanted and ADU's price was by far the best. From the first email with Rob Brinker, every minute of our experience with ADU was outstanding. We went to meet with Rob at the showroom, which was lovely. Rob had all paperwork ready and waiting for us, was friendly, responsive and efficient. We was totally upfront in explaining that we would have to wait for the appliances because of the covid backlog. No matter how many times I emailed Rob asking the status, he was patient and understanding. The other employees we either spoke with or emailed with -- Leonard the Installation Coordinator and Annette (delivery coordinator), were all responsive and kind. My entire experience with ADU was outstanding and I would absolutely recommend them. I have already sent a few friends to Rob -- and would not hesitate to order from him again. read more

I purchased 6 kitchen appliances from ADU in Linthicum. The facade of the store is deceptively simple but when you go inside you find a well laid out fully stocked showroom. Vicki was our salesperson and was very knowledgeable about the products carried and made great suggestions based on the info that I provided. The prices on the products chosen beat prices from several other area suppliers that I checked (as well as the supplier that my contractor suggested would give me the "best deal.") We had a slight glitch regarding delivery scheduling and ADU made it right and delivered on time. I would buy again from them in a heartbeat! read more
