I tried to dab with water but after drying it ended up being discolored and had a crunchy texture where the beer soaked in. I thought my jacket was ruined but I brought it to barini leather and he is a miracle worker! He conditioned and cleaned the leather and made a custom leather dye to match and re-dyed the whole jacket. It literally looks brand new. Like the drink spill never happened. It's super soft and all one color again!

Gary is the owner and runs his leather repair/design business from his home (see my pics, he let me know it was okay to take pics too- just FYI). Told him what I needed and scheduled an appointment, as he was able to see me right away. Gary is VERY detailed oriented, experienced and you can tell that he is an expert at his craft. As he explained every detail about the adjustment(s) about my belt, discussed my options and I was impressed by his precise measurements. Business is located in a nice neighborhood, I felt safe. Gary is knowledgeable, friendly and top-notch expert at what he does and would definitely trust him with any leather repair or design work that I would need in the future. Thank you, Gary (Barini Leather) for your five-star worthy service and craftsmanship.

I then asked if there was any way he could help bring my bag back to life because the black leather was looking a little sad. He said, "Of course," and assured me he could make it look brand new again. Mind you this bag is about 6 years old, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. It took about a week after I dropped it off to be ready. When I picked it up, I was so impressed. It looked absolutely great! The leather was shiny, refreshed, and looked almost brand new again. Thank you so much for the great service and amazing work! I'm so happy I brought my bag in.

He is also generous with his pricing which helps a lot. So, what I'm trying to say is I heartily recommend Champion Han's Shoe Repair

The artisan craftsmanship is beyond anything I imagined -- each bag was restored with such care, precision, and respect for the original design. Honestly , both purses look like bran new. I've been searching for a place like this for a long time and finally stumbled upon this family‑run business. Taleen, the owner, is knowledgeable, genuine, and never salesy -- she doesn't need to be. She knows the materials, the designers, and the techniques required to properly restore luxury bags. When I picked up my two Prada bags, I was so impressed that I immediately dropped off two more: my Christian Dior crossbody and a small Celine bag. Their pricing is incredibly reasonable for the level of craftsmanship they deliver. Bag Restoration truly brought life back into my purses. I'm grateful for their skill and care, and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants their luxury bags restored the right way.

I wanted to see the 1 star reviews to see why they would review that and i saw people saying the staff were rude, however that couldn't be farther from the truth! Each time i went they greeted me with hospitality and were genuinely so nice to me. They are one of the nicest people out here. One time I got a long sleeved tailored here they charged me a good price. i asked AI if what i was hopping for is possible (to lengthen the hem) and it said most likely not possible. But when i went here and asked them of course they could do it! these are experienced people knowing what they are doing, and if i ever need help with something this will be the only place ill go!

After losing a few pounds, they were fitting noticeably bigger than when I first bought them, and I was honestly pretty bummed because I really liked them. After looking at several alteration shops in the area, I decided to stop by VIP Alterations during the week. This was my first time ever having suits, blazers, or sport coats professionally tailored, so I was definitely a little nervous about having permanent changes made to clothing I really liked. They took their time fitting me, carefully pinning and pinpointing exactly where adjustments needed to be made. About a week later, I came back to pick everything up and was blown away. They fit like a glove. The jackets were snug and tailored in all the right areas without feeling too tight or overdone. The craftsmanship was superb. For the first time, I understood what a properly tailored blazer is supposed to look and feel like. I put them on and genuinely felt amazing. They took clothing I had almost stopped wearing and made me excited to wear it again. The pricing was also very reasonable considering the quality of the work, and payment was convenient with multiple options available, including cash, card, Venmo, and Zelle. The overall experience was just as impressive as the tailoring. The owner and his wife were incredibly lovely, pleasant, welcoming, patient, and professional. They are also bilingual, which makes the experience even more comfortable and accessible for both English- and Spanish-speaking customers. While I was there, I noticed customers dropping off all kinds of garments, fabrics, and clothing. It was clear that they handle much more than basic alterations and are trusted with everything from everyday clothing to more detailed and higher-end pieces. After seeing the finished product, I completely understand why people come here from both Los Angeles and Ventura County. Another nice bonus: there is plenty of parking behind the building off Thousand Oaks Boulevard, which makes getting in and out very easy. I will absolutely be coming back with my suits, blazers, sport coats, and anything else that needs tailoring. I've already started recommending VIP Alterations to friends and colleagues. If you have clothing sitting in your closet because it doesn't fit quite right anymore, bring it here before giving up on it. Great tailoring can completely change how your clothes look and, more importantly, how you feel wearing them. Wonderful people, superb craftsmanship, excellent service, and an easy recommendation. Highly recommend VIP Alterations. Hablán Español tambien! - Marco Andrade

Whenever I visit the Camarillo Outlets (usually once every year or so), I always have to stop in…read morehere. I also always have to buy at least one thing. Thankfully, it's not much of a strain on my wallet!. Wilsons Leather sells both genuine and synthetic leather -- and you can tell which is which by the price tag. Being that it's an outlet store, the prices are quite reasonable. There's usually a promo on wallets and smaller handbags, which I adore. Their online store doesn't carry the same deals, but there's usually a sale of some sort if you'd rather not venture out into the middle of nowhere that is Camarillo. The store is huge and quite neat. The emphasis is definitely on bags, pocketbooks, totes, wallets and other such accessories. I personally need wallets with ample pockets and card space, and Wilsons Leather fits that need. Sleek, modern designs in cute colors -- I'm obsessed. There's some clothes, but not much and nothing that's piqued my interest. Leather jackets honestly aren't my thing, so I don't mind that the store doesn't carry a large selection of them. Customer service is efficient and hands-off, which I like. They do try to sell you their leather protection spray at the register, but I don't recommend it unless you're buying real leather. Plenty of parking around the area, though the Outlets also get quite busy. Weekdays are a great time to come by. Weekends... can be a nightmare, to say the least.

Wilson's Leather is a life-saver when it comes to my leather jacket obsession/needs. This store…read morecarries both synthetic and genuine leather for those who either want to pay more for better quality, or save the planet and their wallets. The synthetic leather jackets are all hung using plastic hangers, while the genuine leather products are hung with wooden hangers, which is a simple, yet genius idea. I bought a genuine leather jacket, because the pleather jacket I bought from Forever 21 3 years ago has finally started to crack and peel. I was pretty devastated, because that jacket matched with all of my clothes (granted, I love wearing dark clothes). Wilson's Leather not only has the best discounts, but there are so many styles, that it's almost hard to keep up. Whether you want to go bold with crazy colors, or keep it simple with an A-line, black leather jacket, Wilsons has it all. You seriously can't beat the price here. I used to avoid leather stores, because they're just unappealing, but my goodness, as I'm getting older, I'm loving the leather look more and more. I will definitely come back and buy more jackets once I can save up. You won't be spending hundreds and hundreds on jackets- I just spent approximately $150 on a genuine leather, and couldn't be happier with the size, look, and fit. By the way, you should always try on the jacket before purchasing. I tried on two of the same jacket, and one fit much nicer than the other. One was nicely fitted, while the other one was stretched in weird places, and made the bottom of the jacket all flared. Also, but leather protecting spray! It's approximately $7 and lasts!
