We were in the area for Saturday night fireworks and decided to grab dinner here. We sat outside in the patio area and it was nice because there were heaters all around us. The server was very friendly and answered any questions we had about the menu. We ordered the mussels, ravioli, and prawns. We all shared our food, so it was nice to try a little bit of everything. The mussels were fresh, and I loved the sauce they came in. The prawns were bigger than expected. The ravioli was fresh, and I loved the toppings on top of them. We also got some garlic bread for the table. Try this place out!

Beautiful setting overlooking Darling Harbour. Sat as a two top on a weekday. Made online reservation for 630. Sat right away. Had some drinks and wine then dined on ceasar salad and ribeye with brocolini. Everything was hot and delicious. Enjoy!

Sis and I came here to chill and have drinks after a wonderful day exploring Darling Harbor. The Promenade on Cockle Bay was the perfect way to end the evening. I couldn't asked for a better way to end a Friday night; stuff drinks, solid nibbles, and fireworks...awesome! The ambiance was just perfect; it was full of energy. Loved the drinks and nibbles. There were some great happy hour specials, and I think we took advantage of all of them.

It's almost been 2 years since my last visit and I was pretty excited to come back. But what a let down, the menu has changed and the quality has suffered. Got the mixed meat plate and I was surprised from the lack of meat on my plate. The mix dip plate was below average and the haloumi salad was awful. I was still hungry so I ordered the mushroom risotto but after two spoons I asked for the bill. The food lacks flavour and taste. Staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. It will be more then a few years till I come back here again.

Just trying all those cocktails! Yum!

A funky bar! Loved the cocktail bar an doing his thing...talented man! I know I would have smashed all of the glasses. This place has a great feel, lively music and disco lights flashing..just want to get up and shake my boogey! The service is quick and the staff are friendly. The location is fantastic right at Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour. I didn't have any food here...but there is a good range and a range of prices. Atmosphere plus...lots to look at and easy to meet people here too. I'll come here again! Oh better go...the start of the pre fireworks and my friend has wondered off in the crowd!!!! Come back!

Adria Rybar and Grill is primarily a seafood restaurant. It's a beautiful little place, with an impressive cocktail menu, all going for a reasonable $14 (I'd recommend the Dragonfly). The meals themselves are fairly reasonable, with steaks and ribs costing anywhere from $28 to $40, even though the selection is relatively slim. Also on offer, pastas and risotto's, averaging out to let's say $28 a dish. The dessert menu is also not too extensive, with most desserts going for $12. The crepes are quite lovely, if you're into crepes. I love the atmosphere of this place, and I particularly like the fact that you can watch the chefs as they toil. It's always nice to know exactly what's going on in the kitchen!

ADRIA!!!! ADRIA!!! This is one of my favourite places to chill at on The Promenade on Cockle Bay Wharf. One of the reasons is because you can have the "smart Adria" experience - ala carte etc or the chilled experience... drinks and bar food.... I'm more of a chilled girl, so I'll tell you about that. We got a mix of 6 tapas plates which ended up costing us $44 - they included: MOZZARELLA ARANCINI Crumbed & Fried Risotto Balls with Smoked Mozzarella TARAMASALATA & BABAGANOUSH WITH PITA BREAD Two Dips Served with a Warm Crisp Pita ZUCCHINI & FETTA FRITTERS Lightly Fried Patties of Fetta & Zucchini MARINATED MUSHROOMS Served Warm with Balsamic, Chilli & Olive Oil Marinade FISH & CHIPS Fish Cocktail Pieces Served with Chips & Tartare Sauce SEASONED POTATO WEDGES Served with Sweet Chilli Sauce & Sour Cream The food was great - just yummy greasy bar food...I wasn't expecting more than that and we were adequately satisfied afterwards.... Us girls also took advantage of the cocktail list - i had a Summer Breeze ($14) Absolut Vodka, Lychee Liqueur & Malibu muddled with Lime, Lychees & Sugar A great afternoon out was had by all!

Walking around the Darling Harbour enjoying a scenic stroll and got thirsty in the high humidity of the late January summers so we stopped and lucked out for a couple $5 Happy Hour local beers. Recommended by our cordial bartender were these two: a Coopers pale ale and a Great Northern lager, both were very tasty and satisfied our thirst! Sat out on their covered patio and people watched, a totally awesome experience.

    Muesli bowl. Was fine.

We stumbled upon this place while passing time, waiting to check into our hotel. Flew into Sydney from the US in the early morning and had a few hours to kill until our room was ready. Waterside breakfast sounded delightful, and that's when we came across this place. Menu was OK, nothing special to call out. Ended up getting a muesli bowl and a cuppa tea. Service was OK, nothing special, and while we didn't have a bad experience at all, we'd probably try one of the other places in the vicinity before we'd come back again.

Located in the touristy Cockle Bay Wharf area, the main attraction is the view. Overlooking Darling Harbour, the views are lovely. Reading previous reviews, I was hesitant about what the night held for us however there was nothing to worry about. The service was pretty good. Attentive and friendly, they made sure we were looked after. There is a surcharge of $5 pp for Sundays and public holidays so that is a bit steep however it is printed on both the menus and website so you are warned. We started off with a couple of entrees to share. They were Warm Haloumi Salad and Spanakopita Triangles. The salad was nice and the sweet figs offset the savouriness of the haloumi and acid of the tomatoes. The spanakopita were slightly too salty due to the feta as needed more spinach to balance it out. The mains were Rotisserie Tasting Plate which had both beef and lamb, Mushroom Risotto, Giant Beef Ribs which were a full rack, and Lamb Gyros. We were not expecting the portion sizes to be huge. There was more than enough (actually too much food ordered) and it was pretty tasty and of good quality. As we had set our expectations lower it, we were pleasantly surprised. There was plenty of meat on the tasting plate. Risotto was tasty. The ribs were meaty and not too fatty. Gyros was packed away to go as too much food.

Full rack of pork ribs with chips. Was just okay. It was kind of tough.

Came here during my visit to darling harbour, sea life aquarium and wild life zoo. Food was decent. Ordered a full rack of the pork ribs, lamb gyro, and calamari. The calamari was good and wasn't too salty. My girlfriend had the lamb gyro and she was it was really good. The pork ribs was huge! But it wasn't as good as I was expecting. It was sort of tough. And when you eat ribs you expect them to fall off the bone. The sauce was good though. Not bad but a little over priced too.

We had a fantastic breakfast here and were impressed by the warm greeting of the hostess and the excellent service. Everything fresh and hot and some of the best poured flat whites in Sydney in my opinion. They are right next door to Nick's and evidently do live music in the evenings. Offers outdoor seating with excellent views of Darling Harbour.

Some lovely bubbles , relaxing atmosphere and great drink specials during the happy hour.

Being close to where I used to work, I'd frequent this place quite a bit, and before it was a PJs it was a mates fave city pub so we'd catch up over a few here from time to time. There's a pretty good mix of people in the street-level bar, and PJs have converted it into more of a sports bar so there are plenty of screens for the sports nuts to check out their favourite teams prospects. PJs typically have pretty good fare. In winter they have two absolute cracking dishes. The Guiness Pie with mushy peas, and their signature lamb shanks which is totally unctuous. Why such a modest score? Price kills the place. It's not one of the cheaper places to get a beer as someone incorrectly states in their tips, it's easily one of the most expensive places to get a beer. You're paying over the top prices for domestic tap beer. A cheap beer is $5 for a Coopers Pale Ale, which you can get on the same street about 200m up the road... Also... As much as I enjoy a good pokie section, this one ain't good. And by that I mean the clientelle. It brings in the undesireable types, and sours what is otherwise a sweet pub. The snug, the downstairs den, has a great looking bar, and "snug" seating, but it's kinda pointless down there. It doesn't feel snug, it feels stuffy and claustrophobic - and the bar has never been manned when I've been down there. Now, if they moved the pokies to the snug, and then opened up the entire bar at the street-level to include the room vacated by the pokie section, you'd have something. But why would they do that when they can get by with what they have.

Being in the city, it can get quite busy very quickly and is a decently sized basement multi-storied pub. TV screens are usually are usually playing Fox sports or something similar. I order the Parmy, just to be on the the safe side. I wasn't too game to try the Pie which is supposed to be one of the best (as judged by Irish people I work with) around. The food is carefully prepared and you can tell the produce is quality and they've cooked it properly which some pubs sometimes struggle to do consistently... The chips were the standout side, crisp and crunchy! Definitely will be trying the stew or pie, that is if I'm brave enough to.
