Came here on Tuesday and had Jordan as my colorist and she was fabulous! I showed her a picture of what I wanted but wanted her to use her own artistic style to make my hair look fabulous. She gave my hair so much dimension. I am a nurse and don't take a lot of time to do selfcare, so she was so understanding that this was my time, she was so kind and let me relax, asked me a few questions but just kinda let me zen out. I'm so glad I checked out Adorn Salon! Drive by almost every day & went to website. For new clients, you fill out on the website. You attach a photo of what your vision is, as well as photos of f & b of your hair. There is a one time $50 fee for new clients before your appt., & it is taken off once your appt. is finished & settling up. I am letting my layered hair grow out from cancer treatments, so all I wanted was a bang trim & flat iron all the waves out to be super flat & super straight. I was cheerfully greeted upon entering this most spotless salon & I appreciated the relaxing decor & vibe. It was explained Maddie would do the shampoo, blowout, & flat ironing, & Emily would be doing bang trim. Maddie had me put on a salon robe, nice touch, I like that, then took me back for my relaxing shampoo & condition. Not knowing their product line, I brought my own leave in hair conditioning cream & Maddie applied it before the blowout. My hair is super thick & health conditions have changed the texture somewhat as well, it is a little past my shoulders. Maddie was good about drying it in sections. I had also brought my own flat iron spray to use, & Maddie was very gracious to apply it & section out the underneath of my hair where it is most wavy / some curl to flat iron it. I was very pleased with her technique just as I had told her. Next, Emily came to introduce herself & I told her I liked "shorty" bangs, blended in just to the sides of my face. She was very conscientious to check from time to time that is this ok? Because my hair is thick, it also tends to get frizzy from outside weather, so I had brought my own hair paste for her to work in & she did a great job! As was indicated on the online form, the $50 was applied to the final bill, & it was very reasonable, $25. Since the two girls worked on my hair, I left an appropriate tip for them to split. They also gave me a delightful "first time customer" goodie bag, that just elevated my experience to a new high! I looked at the website more thoroughly the next day, & they offer so many services; all things hair & makeup for bride & bridal party, spray tans (they also have an attractive display of DIY take home tanning), plus they have an esthetician!!! I look forward to the day I can get a great facial!! I am also looking forward in the future to getting a makeup lesson. Did I mention they also do extensions? I love this place! Take your time in looking over the website & all they have to offer. You can even rent items for your wedding & you can order merch from their website as well! This salon was so welcoming and warm. Camila was so attentive and listened really well to what I wanted. She also stopped and asked me how it was looking throughout the process. Had my hair trimmed, layered, and colored (balayage) with Emily. She did a great job and made great conversation while doing the tedious work of dividing up sections of my hair. She explained different coloring options to me, how they might look, etc., because, after not coloring my hair for years, I did not know what to expect with a balayage. She also recommended how to keep up the color over time. The salon was offering a discounted prices for services with Emily (I think because she is new?), and so I got a really great deal on the price. The normal price is very competitive, too, compared to other nearby salons. Adorn Salon is very warm and inviting, and I will definitely be back for future cuts and hair maintenance! read more

Had an appointment for the first time this past Saturday and this salon is amazing. It has such a nice atmosphere. I saw Emily S. and she was excellent! Very much cared about what exactly I wanted done with my hair and she was so lovely to talk to. She was particularly great with cutting my shorter hair (bob length), which can sometimes be difficult to find. They also give out an adorable little gift bag for your first visit. I had a self-inflicted hair color nightmare that Emily was able to mend! After bleaching a very dark color and dying it with a box, I had a terrible mix of damage, red, green, and orange hair color. I found Holly based on internet reviews because I desperately needed my roots done after 4 months of my regular stylist being off and I had an important interview coming up so I wanted to look sharp. I was impressed at first that she fit me in so quickly and was very appreciative. I was scheduled for a balayage. The second I arrived she tried to sell me $600 hair extensions. She spent over 15 minutes explaining them to me (without me asking and without mentioning the cost--I was interested until that haha!) she then did a cut and treatment and I was trusting her judgment. It looked and felt great for all of 5 days and cost me close to $300. She rescheduled me for 2 months later and assured me that the treatment would hold up till then. Ok cool whatever. It obviously did not and I went elsewhere in between. I contacted her to see if she could fit me in sooner and she told me to send pictures of my hair, which I did and received no reply. Today I get a very aggressive text that I hadn't confirmed the appt we made 2 months ago. I sincerely am not a "Karen" and this is the first review I've ever written...she was INCREDIBLY rude to me. I said I would keep the appt if she would do balayage like I had asked the first time. I went to cosmetology school; I know how clients can be and certain things aren't possible. But her response was this: "I do not have enough time in this slot ,NO!" I don't doubt she is talented, and did a nice job on my hair the first time around. But she obviously does what she wants and won't work with the client to help find a balancing act to get their hair where they ultimately want it to be . And her attitude is shit. At a $300 price tag, I walked out with a cut, an oil treatment and "root melt," and for not "having the time available," a pretty long sales pitch on extensions. read more

I found this salon on Yelp, and scheduled an appointment with Emily M. I got there 10 minutes early (I like being early to things) and immediately someone greeted me and went to get her. I was probably in the chair 5 minutes later. Emily did a really great job with my hair, which can be fussy because it's pretty thick and it has a strange texture. I found Adorn through yelp as I had not found a hair stylist in the area yet. I like how the prices are posted online and also posted on your appointment text reminder so you don't have to guess what you will be paying. It was a little higher than I usually go for but I understand what I'm paying for and the time it takes to do baby lights. I recently visited this salon. My hair was multi-dimensional, honey blonde. I came here asking for balayage highlights. The inexperienced stylist gave my all over foils, over processing my hair and turned my blond hair into a dark purple/grey mess. She toned my hair twice all the way to the ends and the not completely washing the product out. After three hours, I left crying. I contacted the owner who told me to "give it a couple weeks and then we can fix it." I was mortified at the thought of walking around with the flat, drab hair. After four weeks of expensive treatment, shampoo and seeing someone with real experience my hair is limping back to normal. I sent a message to the owner and decided to ask for a refund. I have spent easily $300.00 since then to remedy their mistakes. She denied any wrong doing or a refund. I felt bamboozled. I read the reviews, I thought they could do a good job. I should have known when she sent me pictures of her own grey hair and said it looks good. I wanted to leave an honest review of my experiences to help future customers make an educated decision, but she blocked me from leaving a review on Facebook. If you don't value your time, hair, or money. This is the place for you. Otherwise, beware. Do not read their facebook reviews, they aren't accurate. read more
