Where can you go for meals that will satisfy flavor loving omnivores, a couple of vegan millennials, kids with multiple food allergies and the family matriarch who prefers classic meat and three style comfort food? Joan's catering's take out menu fits the bill. We ordered take out meals yesterday and enjoyed a delicious group lunch today. The menu had something for everyone, and lunch was a success with clean plates and full stomachs all around. My partner and I enjoyed the zucchini burrito and stuffed peppers off of the vegan menu while my kids shared sides of allergy friendly brown rice, steamed broccoli, and black beans. Other dishes included fajitas, mojo pork and chicken cordon bleu. The broad appeal of the offerings bring to mind (in a good way) meals I've eaten in corporate cafeterias. Everything was well executed, fresh, and with nice portions. Some highlights included the black beans which were perfectly seasoned as was the steamed broccoli with garlic. I love that whole grains and veggies are prominently featured on the menu, there are plenty of healthy options if that's your preference! Great for a crowd with diverse food preferences like ours and an excellent option for vegan, gluten free, and other special diets.

We chose cake slices as there are many options and everyone had a favorite. The cakes give me a homestyle feel. Like homemade cake and icing. Gourmet southern goodness. The cakes are slathered with lots of icing, which I mostly removed because I like my cake without. Which to me tells me how good the cake is that it can stand alone without the frosting. Hummingbird, lemon, chocolate, and carrot cakes reign supreme. The frosting on the chocolate cake makes the cake, it's fantastic. We also tried the massive cinnamon rolls which are 5 stars! I will definitely be visiting Wright's for cakes for the next party. It's sure to be a party favorite! And excited to get back to try some sandwiches, the Alpine cake, and Chill Bros icecream!
