My friend had an appointment at 1:30 today. Unfortunately she needed to push it back to 2:45. She called when they opened at 11 and was able to switch times with ease! We arrived about 5 minutes early and the associate was waiting at the door for us. She greeted us with a smile and offered us water. I think they only have one appointment in at a time. The boutique is small. Dresses hang along the walls, separated by style. Clearance dresses on the back wall. Since it's small, they don't offer a huge inventory of dresses but the selection is still good. There's one small section of veils and belts. There's also a shelf with accessories on it. One floor length mirror sits by the veils and belts. This was my friend's second appointment here and the sales associate had her previous favorites already hanging in the dressing room. Inside the dressing room, there was a framed "Future Mrs. Williams" sign...what a nice, sweet added touch! The sales associate was kind. She didn't rush us or try to push my friend into purchasing a dress today. She helped her try on multiple veils and even remembered which one she tried on at her previous appointment. They have this thing called "The Island" --where the bride-to-be hangs her favorite three dresses on a blue wall. If she finds a fourth she likes, one has to go. She informed us that's how they keep brides from getting too overwhelmed in the process. Very clever! She informed us new inventory will be coming in soon for the season.

Each had their own ups and downs but Little White Dress is by FAR the best place I've been to. The women there are absolutely amazing. I had the pleasure of working with Emily & Aggi. They are patient, kind, encouraging, and incredibly helpful. At no point did I feel rushed like I did at many other shops. I felt cared for in there. They gave me their undivided attention and worked with me slowly and patiently to find the perfect dress. Setting up the appointment was a smooth process AND they even shipped in two dresses I loved and tried on elsewhere... talk about A++ customer service and love. I tried on probably ten gowns, some that I picked out and some that they picked out. I tried them on more than once, some more than twice! And not once did they show signs of being annoyed by my inability to quickly make a decision. Best part about the whole experience is that I ended up going with a dress that they picked out for me. I was in town from Boston on vacation with my family, from Ohio and I thought it might be a perfect time to try on some gowns seeing as me and my family live so far apart and we weren't sure of the next visit. I couldn't imagine not having my mom around while I tried on wedding gowns. We did a little research and came across Fancy Frock on Google. My mom, sister and myself hopped in the car and took the 20 min drive from Myrtle Beach to Murrells Inlet. With no appointment made we walked in and were immediately greeted and were made to feel welcome. I met with Stephanie and she was a peach from the start. Very honest straight forward and not at all pressuring. She took a moment to educate me on the importance of wearing the correct undergarments, this was a first and very helpful! I stepped in to my first gown and it was gorgeous! Fun and flirty just like I was looking for however It didn't quite do it for me, as I still had "my dress" in the back of my head. Stephanie saw that and went to great lengths to recreate "my dress- Allure 8966" she got two dresses and pieced them together to show me what the dress I loved would look like. It was very creative and extremely helpful! I have never experienced this kind of help and honesty from any sales person and I only wish they had/ were able to order my dress, because I would have loved to given the sale to these lovely ladies, and this store! BRIDES BEWARE! Initially, Sam seemed wonderful to work…read morewith. After visiting several shops without finding what I wanted, she offered to create a custom gown exactly how I wanted it. She took all my measurements and said it should fit perfectly with little to no alterations. She advised me to monitor my weight and measurements, which I did. I was told it would be ready in approximately 7 months. That was July 2025. In February 2026, I contacted her for an update. She said the gown had arrived but she hadn't worked on it because she was busy with brides whose weddings were before mine. She finally contacted me in April to schedule a fitting. 4/21: The dress was WAY too big. At least 4-6" too wide and 2" too long. Sam claimed I'd lost 2" despite my weight being unchanged. Even if I'd lost weight, my height hadn't changed. I had also requested a specific cat-eye neckline and sent a reference photo at her request, but the gown had a rounded sweetheart neckline that looked nothing like it. She promised to fix everything, including the neckline, and I resent to reference photo. 7/15-8/6: I contacted her on 7/15 for an update because my bridal portraits were scheduled for 8/10 and received no response. On 7/16, I followed up and explained the urgency. She said she'd email the factory. This was the first I'd heard that the entire dress was being remade. On 8/2, I followed up again. She said she'd "just emailed them on Friday" and would update me ASAP. On 8/6, she said the dress would arrive 8/14 and asked me to reschedule my portraits. I requested a fitting on 8/16 or 8/17 but received no response. 8/17-8/18: I texted on 8/17 saying I'd never heard back and asking when I could come in. She said she was leaving the country in a few days and wouldn't return until 9/9. We scheduled a fitting for 9/14. On 8/18 I tested my concerns and requested a photo of the dress. The attached screenshots show the exchange. Her response was dismissive, she never replied to my last message, and I heard nothing further until the morning of my appointment. 9/14: I arrived and learned she hadn't actually gone on the trip. I'd already canceled my portraits and worked around her schedule. The neckline was still wrong. I wanted a V in the center with pointed ends, but it was straight across with no V. She had also changed the back without permission. It was supposed to have a zipper with buttons, but she replaced it with a corset. I cried and asked why she'd changed the back without consulting me. She blamed my supposedly fluctuating weight, which wasn't true and didn't explain why she'd chosen a corset. When I pointed out the neckline was still wrong, she argued that it was what I'd requested despite receiving reference photos twice. She eventually said, "fine, I'll fix it" defensively. I told her I needed the dress by 10/4 at the latest. 9/24: I asked to schedule a final fitting around 10/4 and whether the dress would be ready. She said it was already finished and she'd be away 10/3-10/6. She had never notified me it was ready. I asked about availability on 9/28 and got no response, so I booked through her website myself. 9/28: The neckline had been altered and the original zipper and buttons restored. However, the dress no longer fit. After being made smaller to accommodate the corset I never asked for, it was not about an inch too small and wouldn't zip completely. Her only response was "I told you it would be tight." 5 weeks until my wedding, I was left needing to lose at least 5 lbs in hopes of fitting into my gown. 10/16: With only 3 weeks until my wedding, I noticed dog and cat hair on the dress, along with a disgusting yellow stain that I can only hope isn't urine! I never got to take my bridal portraits. Throughout this experience, there has been no accountability and no apology. After months of delays, unauthorized design changes, poor communication, and now a stained dress, I am devastated by the experience. I will never recommend this business to anyone! Not worth the $4640!

Myself and my family picked a couple of dresses and she could see that I wasn't sure about those after trying them on. So she picked some out herself I probably tried on about 8-10 dresses and the last one was my dream dress! The price of the dresses was thankfully not as much as I thought they would be as my budget was $500 and under. I'm happy to say that I found my dream dress thanks to that employee. I can't leave a picture of my dress as my wedding is in November and I don't want my fiancé or other family seeing it but thank you so much!
