Before anyone gets too excited, no I'm not getting married. Buuuuttttt one of my very dear friends is! Can we take a second to focus on how cute the name of this shop is!...adorable! My friend had an appointment at 1:30 today. Unfortunately she needed to push it back to 2:45. She called when they opened at 11 and was able to switch times with ease! We arrived about 5 minutes early and the associate was waiting at the door for us. She greeted us with a smile and offered us water. I think they only have one appointment in at a time. The boutique is small. Dresses hang along the walls, separated by style. Clearance dresses on the back wall. Since it's small, they don't offer a huge inventory of dresses but the selection is still good. There's one small section of veils and belts. There's also a shelf with accessories on it. One floor length mirror sits by the veils and belts. This was my friend's second appointment here and the sales associate had her previous favorites already hanging in the dressing room. Inside the dressing room, there was a framed "Future Mrs. Williams" sign...what a nice, sweet added touch! The sales associate was kind. She didn't rush us or try to push my friend into purchasing a dress today. She helped her try on multiple veils and even remembered which one she tried on at her previous appointment. They have this thing called "The Island" --where the bride-to-be hangs her favorite three dresses on a blue wall. If she finds a fourth she likes, one has to go. She informed us that's how they keep brides from getting too overwhelmed in the process. Very clever! She informed us new inventory will be coming in soon for the season. read more

I came to look for my wedding dress with my future mother-in-law in October-November. First question they asked me was "What is your budget?". It was my second experience shopping for a dress and the first time I went nobody asked me this question. My mother-in-law confirmed it was not a good question to ask. But okay, let's say this information makes everyone's life easier and there's nothing wrong, just a little bit straight out the gate. So I said that my budget was around 1500 because this is average amount of money brides spend in the USA and I wasn't really prepared for this kind of question so I answered pretty abstractly. But, obviously, I am prepared to spend a little more money if I can really find the perfect dress. So the manager, her name is Sally, explained me that different colors of hangers are different price levels and I wanted to try on some dresses over 1500 but I wasn't even shown them. When I found out I didn't try them, I asked the manager and she said to me "we are not able to order them, I just checked". I was like okay, thats super weird that dresses which are all "over my budget" all can't be ordered. But I couldn't see at the time that she was lying to me. So, my mom in law later in the day said "yes, I saw how she put back all dresses you took and when I asked her why you didn't try it, the manager said "it's over her budget". And every time when I was asking to try something, the manager was CONSTANTLY saying "it's over your budget, it's over your budget". So, I left the store and texted the manager at home that there are some dresses by Justin Alexander I saw on website and wanted her to check what kind she has. She said she will look and send them to me to look at. Never happened. In a month or two (After I already found a nice place in Charleston to buy my dress) I stopped there to look for veils and they didn't allow me even look, because apparently they are only "by appointment". So I left my phone number, and guess what, they never called me. I don't know how this place have such a great rating with such terrible customer service. read more
