See the link below for what Lelch feels is $1,000 worth of work…read more My basement already has Cat-5 wired throughout it and I wanted it to be connected to the internet. The rep showed up and looked at the jacks in the walls, saw them going into the utility room (into an outdated cat-5 switch) and determined that another rep should come out to "set it all up". I then get an email with a bid of $675 and although I felt that was high, I told them to go ahead. Another rep came out, cut off the ends of the already wired cat-5 cords, put ends on them, put them into a switch, and placed them in what I was told as a "compact" box that would make it look nice. They then tested the connections and were on their way. The next day I get a bill for $980 and come to find out every visit, regardless of work, starts at $150 and for that first "consolation" (which was the tech and I speaking for 45 minutes and the rep offering to put two covers on two outlets) costed me $335. Well that was news to me and I was not once told anything about that. The actual box that is supposed to make this whole project, "look nice" is huge, unnecessary, and actually makes it look worse. Then the rep just puts the modem on top, leaves all the old stuff still on the wall, and was done. If you feel that the value added work of testing the cat-5 connections already in the house, cutting the ends off of the preinstalled cat-5 cords, putting ends on them, plugging them into a switch, and then placing the switch into a huge unnecessary box is worth $1,000 to you, then you will get what you paid for. To be candid, the Control 4 experience is hands down the single component preventing me from giving five stars. The experience with this device has been a challenge. I would highly recommend Lelch for their customer first approach. I would urge you to consider what exactly you're looking for out of a universal system and evaluate whether the Control 4 unit is best for your needs and design.

Our experience with Aero started out great, but ultimately turned into an incredibly frustrating,…read moreexpensive mistake. During our consultation, the sales rep sold us on the Hunter Douglas "Light Lock" blackout blinds for our two kids' bedrooms. She managed expectations well, noting they wouldn't be 100% pitch black but would be a massive upgrade from our basic $200 Home Depot blinds we installed ourselves. Based on that promise, we invested over $2,000. The installation process was a total disaster. It took three separate appointments just to get them up. The first two times they arrived with zero knowledge of how to install the product. The third time he arrived, he admitted he had never put these exact blinds in before and actually suggested using double-sided tape at one point. Now that they are finally up, the performance is terrible--they let in a ton of light and aren't at all we had hoped for. When we reached out with photos/videos to check if they were even installed correctly, it took days to get a generic response telling us everything looks okay. I requested a call from a manager days ago and have been completely ignored. For a premium $2k+ price tag for 4 windows, the product, installation quality, and customer service have been completely unacceptable. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Use Revience at your own risk…read more Here is a summary of my experience of less than 2 years with Revience. Note that my initial experience with Revience was very positive, as the technicians that did the equipment install were *very* professional and experienced. I purchased over $7k of new security equipment from Revience for a new construction house. This included new fire alarms because Revience stated the current fire alarms were not compatible with their security system. This is worth noting, because Revience did all the security/home audio wiring of this new construction house, but we now had to install redundant battery operated fire alarms next to each hardwired fire alarm. In less than 2 years, I've had 4 false alarms. One false alarm resulted in the police being needlessly dispatched. Another false alarm caused all alarm systems to trigger constantly for over 2 hours because the monitoring company "could not find my account or address in the system", even though the same monitoring company would call me when the alarm was triggered. Additionally, this is the same company that billed me for an entire year of monitoring service. So I know they knew my account and my address. What was made clear through subsequent discussions, is that the hand off from Reviance to this monitoring company was incomplete. In November of 2025, I spoke with Revience, who apologized for the situation, and directed me to the alarm monitoring company. After speaking with the alarm monitoring company manager, I explained to Revience that the monitoring company said my false alarms were "unprecedented", but they couldn't do anything because they didn't sell or install the equipment. I now have a box of equipment that can't be used, and Revience will not refund or even partially compensate me for this equipment. In December of 2025 I asked Revience if this is the experience that a customer should expect? As of March 2026, I have yet to receive any response, and still have a box of equipment I have cancelled my service, and signed up with ADT, and have enjoyed having a functional security system that is monitored and supported by the same company that sold it to me.

We have been long term customers. In the whole time we have been using Xfinity, Comcast and the other companies, before them, as providers, I have never seen such neglect of customers. But, let's get to the good. I had tried for two days and one night to get my husband's data transferred to his new phone. It just wasn't happening. So off we went to Xfinity, in Richfield, to get the task done. The first guy couldn't get it done. A second guy couldn't either. Then, Abhay Kunar was asked if he might know what to do. He had an idea. Maybe the other guys hadn't used a certain app. It turned out they hadn't. But they weren't there. They were mulling about hanging out with their buddies. Abhay used it, and what do you know. It worked. So, after buying a new phone for myself, which the first guy helped me with, we headed home thinking all was ok. Wrong. But I'll get back to this. Abhay transferred my data to my new phone and helped me get my account set up in a very short time. Now, back to what I was saying. When we were leaving. My husband got a call. His old phone was in a box ready to be shipped. The ringing was coming from the inside of that box. Not his new phone. (Remember this.) Now we had another dilemma. Neither his phone, nor mine, would make calls. So, once again, I'm working on getting it to do it's job. Another sleepless night. No matter what I did, his phone would not make calls. There wasn't any connection. Mine started working as soon as I got home. Finally, I decided, in the early morning hours, to unbox my husband's old phone and switch out the Sim cards. Walla! His new phone connected immediately. If we had sent his old phone off, we would have had to go back to Xfinity to get that straightened out. My husband had been livid when he discovered he couldn't use his new phone. It took me, without any training, to figure out that all they had to do was to switch the Sim cards, from the old to the new. This wouldn't be such a big deal, but my husband mentioned, numerous times, that I had changed out the Sim cards. If the first two guys had been paying any attention, instead of palling around, that should have been done in the first place. My review is more about Abhay, for him to be commended because he did his job right. He was very kind to me. He gave me his card so, if I needed anything else, to contact him. He even wrote his personal number and that he doesn't work Thursdays or Sundays, on it. Thanks Abhay. You other guys need to pay more attention to your customers. That is what you are there for. I mean, I liked the camaraderie, but come on, customers come first. You need to do better. One more thing. In my opinion, Xfinity doesn't need that many employees in one store. I mean there was a bunch.

While multiple customers waited, at least 8 people in Xfinity sweatshirts stood around talking and…read moresinging (Yes Singing!) to each other! These people eventually worked with (can't say helped) customers. It just took forever (over 60 minutes). I was the 2nd person in line:-(
