They rambled off some information and I did not fully understand what they were saying, since I had a crying toddler in my arms. Feeling flustered by the situation, I just showed them my energy information, not realizing they were taking my personal information down. They then said I would get a confirmation text letting me know that they had spoken to me, which never went through. I'm completely sure that was a bogus claim as they sat there and tried to fake like their system was having a hard time processing the information. I'm pretty certain I signed up for something I never actually agreed to, and this has me feeling so wronged. This is a terrible practice and I am beyond furious by these scammer tactics. If I call and the issue is not resolved immediately, I will be livid.

Here I am at 8pm, 13 hours later and no one is here, the operators won't give me an exact time, and I've been held hostage in this vacant property all day with no food or ability to leave. I missed work and am out money for this and am now worried they will reschedule and I'll have to go through this again. National grid should be ashamed of themselves and I can't think of a worse customer experience than this. Truly horrible. There is no excuse for this whatsoever. They should have separate crews handling emergency calls and others handling prior appointments. Seems very easily avoidable.

Caveat emptor certainly applies here, as I signed up with this outfit a while back and never paid any attention to the rate I was paying, only to the total bill including delivery charges. Con Ed is currently charging 8 cents per kWh. When I called to ask why in the name of all that is holy would they be charging me 3 times Con Ed's rate, the representative did nothing but tell me that I could cancel at any time. It struck me that she knew full well that they were nothing but thieves without a mask and gun.
