National Grid is the worst utility monopoly. You have to waste hours on the phone to do anything.

Which was installing ceiling fans( purchased separately) with "on the wall" wiring rather than in the wall wiring and all the fixins purchased from these folks. It was my first project of installing ceiling fans like this (Have installed ceiling fans before but never the wiring from the outlet) and I have to admit it all went pretty well. Because here it is late August ... hot as he__, .. well you know how hot it is, and guess what?!, my ceiling fans are working fine and the on the wall wiring looks professionally installed, albeit, perfectly fine. I'm having my apartment painted soon, in late September to have all the on the wall -- WIREMOLD-- colors blend in with the paint on the ceiling and walls. There were some hiccups on the invoice but they credited me appropriately when I pointed errors out to them. they corrected problems immediately. So all in all this is the place to go folks if you want professional service from professionals who have all the supplies you'll ever need for electrical type work.

Yesterday on day three of the first heat wave in 2025 I started worrying about the electric going off. It got so unbearable in my apartment I turned on the air conditioning at the most high usage time of the day. I turned it on around 1:30pm and then later around 5:30 I turned it off. This morning 2:30am I noticed a email that we didn't have elevator service because of a "Brown Out ". I had to look the term up! A Brown Out is when electric is powered off or down due to war, a storm or in this case as a precaution so the electric grid isn't overloaded. The good news power has been restored to some of the elevators. People going to work will have to leave early because they need to wait for an elevator. I'm glad I don't need to go anywhere and my daughter is working from home today. All I can say is thank god for Consolidated Edison and I'm afraid it's going to be a LONG Summer!

I had no idea I was suppose to call them to let them know I was using gas. I almost became homeless because of an $800 bill! They charged way too much for gas and electric. I wish I could opt-out of their services. The only somewhat good thing about coned is that they do payment plans. Its terrible how they charge so much to people who are on SSI, Medicaid, or just seniors in general. They do have a discount plan for you but it really isn't enough to be honest.

He is lacking analytical and logical skills who would rather keep his two horribly offensive delivery people, not to discipline them and possibly put himself into a much worse legal predicament later. Seemingly, it stems from the fact that he cannot replace them, lacking resources for more skilled staff. Or some other reason. The mechanical condition of the delivery truck should also be evaluated since the traction of wheels should not produce this kind spinning, possibly tires too bald, should be verified with state authorities as well. Everything starting with stuck getting stuck due to failure to just back out, unauthorized attempt to do U-turn, especially if you are lacking the skills to maneuver between the obstacles. What seemed to be no challenge for previous two trucks completing deliveries within the last day or two, personal vehicle and even a sport car, this fellow had an overblown issue. However, being stuck should not have risen to being an assholes or disrespect and insult the customer. It is part of doing business and ought to be treated as temporary issue. Thankfully, with my mechanical assistance and direction they were able to back out finally. What took place before and after should have been enough for the owner to fire these two people immediately. Specifically, the driver's assistant was blaming, belligerent and attempted assault by advancing on the customer. After a verbal push back and standing the ground, he backed off. Upon, the eventual departure the driver arose to yelling , throwing insults, and threatening. I explained to the owner of the Tribeca company that I have video surveillance and audio recording of complete interaction from many angles; I provided him with some copies to begin his inquiry. Even before speaking to these two, he seemed be on the path to justify the behavior of these two-ghetto style, tongue loose home boys by coming with various excusable scenarios and psychological nuances of hard work and travel. He called back a day later implying that he is not taking any disciplinary action nor is able to assure me if these "two idiots would not piss into my water next time". The fact that there was a physical threat, insults, microphone picking up these two calling my wife "cunt" for not stopping them when she opened the gate is not enough to take responsibility. He cancelled my account.

Not only their products, but the assortment of knowledge they provide for free on their blog and website. I learned so much about conserving energy from reading their posts that it got me even more confident in renewable energy as a whole. So I reached out to them to schedule an appointment with their sales team. They were able to schedule a next day appointment, and the next day the sales representative showed up on time. I gave him my energy bill and he explained how renewable energy products could cut this bill by at least half. That's definitely something I was interested in. I know more than anyone that energy conservation is the cheaper route long term. Eventually, saving energy pays for any renewable energy expense by itself. So I agreed to the conditions of the contract and we went from there. Fast forward a month later and now I'm already reaping all the benefits of going solar. I am very satisfied with this company and their ability to be transparent regarding their procedures and renewable energy products. By the time I signed a contract, I was already sufficiently educated enough to feel like I was making an informed decision. The information on their website plus the explanation from the sales representative was perfect for making my final decision. Thank you for standing behind renewable energy, which is something society needs more of a pull towards. I recommend MPower Energy to anyone who is interested in energy conservation and taking the power away from their utility providers.
