There is NEVER a wait (I have been here three times in the past 2 months, both my friends have had appointments, and there have never been any waits for longer than 5 minutes) 2. They have ODA pricing which is what most dental plans will cover. Despite the fact that this office is in Toronto, there is no random other superficial up-charges for normal services. (This was the main reason I initially chose this dentist). 3. They do an excellent job! My teeth were cleaned really well, the hygienist (who's name escapes me, but she was fantastic) was so friendly. They also run specials and promos (I got my annual exam and teeth cleaning and they threw in a free whitening session). 4. Appointments are super easy and correspondence is super quick! Their secretary Stacey does a great job to help fit appointments in ASAP and at times that work for you. 5. They have after work and weekend hours! I have officially made the switch to this super convenient and awesome dental office!

My hygienist for the cleaning was Mary, and she was friendly, professional, and a pleasure to interact with. Having my own dental insurance is new to me, and they're good at working with you, and with what you've got. Being able to book appointments on Saturday is a big plus. Highly Recommended to anyone looking for a professional experience, gentle care and above and beyond treatment. Thanks so much.

Because I could never find one that wasn't out there to rip me off (just as i change mechanics haha). I had taken to going from dentist to dentist to get an opinion that actually would be consistent. I found Davisville Smiles through YELP and decided to give Dr. Priya a try. First of all, the wait time to see her was long. I wasn't overly concerned because I figured it would be. However, I also had an emergency appointment done a month after my first visit and was booked in right away. Besides being young and energetic, Dr. Priya seem to be one of those dentists that truly does respect and care about her patients. I had a cavity filled which another dentist said I'd need a root canal on. She assured me that she would succeed in fixing it with minimal difficulty and proceeded to do so. I never had any sensitivity after the fillings nor any other problems.

I was referred to Dr. Noah Belman by Dr. Kutner (his wife, who was at a different dentist's office at the time), but Dr. Belman made sure I didn't have a problem with that before getting down to gory details. Dr. Belman was pretty upbeat, and even noticed that I wore my watch on my right wrist, even though I'm right-handed--just like he did! The staff were also great, and they gave me a follow-up call about an hour after the surgery to make sure I got my bleeding, doped-up self home okay.

Doesn't have all the (unnecessary) bells and whistles you sometimes see (eg tvs, noise cancelling headphones, etc)...just a super skilled dentist, great hygienist, and extra lovely support staff. Also: I pay out of pocket and the receptionist always provides me w an estimate before any work is done, just to make sure I know what I'm in for. Prices are perfectly reasonable, but dentistry is expensive, and appreciate that extra bit of consideration on their end!

I moved to Toronto two years ago and started coming to Harbord Dentistry since it was nearby my apartment and reviewed well and I have no regrets! My old dentist used very traditional methods and never really communicated with me as to what was happening with my dental hygiene or what steps I could take to make improvements on it - it was in the door and out as fast as possible and the barrier of communication caused my dental hygiene to suffer over the years. Dr. Baradaran and his team however are some of the friendliest people I have ever met! They schedule appointments to be longer than needed which means Dr. B has plenty of face to face time with you and can answer questions or fill you in on what's happening with your mouth and his team have given me advice on how to improve my hygiene routine. Additionally the hygenists are incredibly patient and are very accommodating with my gag problem and always make sure I am comfortable above all else. Whenever they need to do something they will tell me ahead of time and not only let me know what procedure they're doing but also why they're doing it and what it will do to help my mouth. It truly was a night and day experience coming here after my old dentist and it has helped me see just how much difference there is between traditional and modern dentistry. I'm definitely going to continue coming here as long as I'm living in the GTA.

However, it seemed odd that they said I had six cavities. They very patiently walked me through all the work that would need to be done, around $1,500 with my insurance. I'd never had a cavity before, it had only been a year since my last appointment, and nothing about my life had changed. I put off scheduling fillings and scheduled an appointment with a different dentist to get a second opinion. This was a year and a half ago and I've since seen two different dentists, neither of which said I had any cavities. When I mentioned this to one of them, she said that while there are two spots she's keeping an eye on, they don't need to be drilled. Because they haven't gone more than halfway through the enamel, they may resolve on their own. Dentistry is a subjective art. People have different thresholds for when they want to have fillings put in. I prefer to not drill holes in my teeth if it's not strictly necessary. You may feel differently. Just know that they set the threshold for drilling very high.

Up until recently I haven't had anything major done to my teeth, never had braces, never had a cavity, so I was blissfully unaware of any procedures, drills, freezing or anything of the like. When I went in for a check up with the dental office I was told that I had a huge cavity that may require a root canal. I FREAKED OUT, I didn't know what to expect, I just imagined massive amounts of pain and popping pain killers. The dentist asked me about my dental history, and upon realizing that I was just a tad apprehensive explained the whole procedure, including possible next steps. She didn't push to have anything more done then she had to. I was very pleased with the service that I have received from everyone here. From the receptionist, to my dentist, to my dental hygienist. I have been to some places were they really hurt you while doing cleaning and after that my mouth was full of blood - not here. The dental hygienist Rachel is really gentle and good. Definitely a good place to come for your dental check-ups and cleaning. Only recently I had couple of problems when scheduling appointments - one time there was no confirmation e-mail sent and I mixed up the times because I expected and e-mail with date and time (as usually) and then another time I scheduled an appointment for my husband, he took his day off to go for an appointment, but when he got there, he found out that the receptionist forgot to schedule his appointment in the system. When I called for explanation, I was told that they are unable to check what happened. Can we come back another time? Like it's so easy to take time off once again. If I would miss my appointment, I would be charged a fee for dental hygienists time; however, if they "miss" my appointment, "It's okay, can you can tomorrow again?"
