I have been going to her for years because I was referred to her as a critical case with many complications and very little hope. I had all my teeth extracted and other surgeons had told me that even dentures would be an unlikely possibility for me. It took some surgeries and tremendous care, time, and brilliance, but Dr. David restored my teeth (and my life). I now have complete dental implants on top and bottom (with a titanium rod) sustaining them. It has been years since I had them done and nothing has gone wrong. If ever there are minor adjustments needed...she is so kind, compassionate, and solves the issue effortlessly. When you are in her presence, you instantly feel at ease and reassurance. She is gentle, kind, and most importantly, she is exceptionally gifted in her line of work. I am studying to write the bar this November and would have never been able to get to this point if it hadn't been for her. She will change your life...please trust my words. If it's quality and true expertise you want, you want Dr David!!!!! I hardly ever leave reviews, but i personally feel her excellence should be universally acknowledged and appreciated!! Jana

My dentist was not available and referred me to Dr David. I was able to get an appointment within a few days and the procedure was over much quicker than I could have imagined! She was really friendly and explained everything and her staff were great too. They offer the option of sedation or gas but I am a tough cookie (but I better not eat any tough cookies for a while!) and just went with regular freezing since I don't have medical insurance. All in all I was pleasantly surprised, not something you expect to say after dental surgery! Conveniently located steps away from Davisville subway too.

After the surgery my son had the normal amount of swelling but unfortunately it didn't go away. My son went back to Dr. Voutsas' office and was told that the lumps in my son's neck must have already been present before the surgery and that he must have mono so he should go to our family doctor. My son was put on antibiotics after the surgery as well as another round when he went back to the office. After the last appointment there was no follow-up from his office. My son went to his family doctor and it was confirmed for that his lymph nodes were still swollen with an ultrasound. He was then referred to an ENT who stated that Dr. Voutsas did not provide adequate after care from the procedure and that the swelling in his face will not go down for another five or so years. If you have a teen that does not want to deal with facial swelling for an extended amount of time DO NOT go to Dr. Voutsas for oral surgery!!!

I already had surgery in 2012 with another dentist and it was a fail. I was refereed to Dr. Caudry as an urgent situation and I got a call from her office quite fast. She was very confident that she could fix my problem and the surgery took place a few weeks after. I was expecting it to last for hours - It took only 30 MINUTES AND I WAS OUT. Very quick and efficient. I healed very well (although let's be honest, it was excruciatingly painful) and her reception always made sure to send me text and email reminders for each follow up appointment. My problem has been fixed and I am thrilled with the result. Dr. Caudry's office is conveniently located right next to Bay subway station, in the middle of Yorkville. You would expect her rates to be crazy high because of the prime location, but honestly - it is quite reasonable. Of course it is expensive as she is a specialist ($150 for the initial appointment, if I recall), but it is pretty average. I think the only downturn is if you're driving, it can be a pain to find a parking spot.

She removed a broken screw from my implant in probably 45 seconds (my implant fell out and a piece of the screw snapped off and was stuck in my jaw) I wouldn't think twice about going to see her and I promise you will be in the best hands. Dr Caudry is a true gem within the periodontal profession.

He explained the procedure to me very clearly and patiently. After my oral surgery (under anesthesia), my recovery was remarkably problem free - minimal bleeding and minimal pain. I healed very quickly and was super happy with the results. In addition to being a terrific oral surgeon, Dr. Marshall Freilich is a very caring and dedicated dentist who talked to me about my emotional and physical recovery. He wanted to make sure that I was happy and feeling OK. Not surprisingly, the professionalism and caring carried over to his super staff. His assistant, Hodan, called me on the weekend of my recovery to make sure that I was feeling well and she called the following week. My questions were always addressed quickly, honestly and clearly. Dr. Freilich was recommended to me by my professionally-respected dentist, Dr. Stephen Zamon. Long story…read moreshort, I ended up in the hospital and advised that I should find a private surgeon to deal with it as the surgery required to remove all four (three and a half would be more accurate at that point) teeth would be "brutal". I was referred to Dr. Freilich by my boss and I couldn't have possibly been happier with such an unpleasant situation. The staff was very understanding and compassionate, especially when I was stumbling around after the procedure. The after care was exceptional - even when I thought I was getting an infection that turned out to just be dry socket mixed with the flu, I received great treatment without feeling like a hypochondriac. And it was prompt! I was initially worried that going to a specialist would mean a 3 month wait or something similarly silly, but I had my teeth removed within a week of my first visit. A procedure like mine is always expensive no matter where you go, and I was fortunate enough to have my work insurance cover most of it.
