My problem is that the reports they produce are provided ONLY to the MD and that the format of the reports is such that the MD is unable to add them to the patients electronic record. I wanted to see if I had made progress with the things I was doing to improve bone density and they make it nearly impossible for the patient to manage their own health which I think is highly inappropriate. My MD is going to have to make a photo copy of the results and physically MAIL them to me. Therefore, even though it is convenient and the experience I had there was very pleasant, I won't return for my next one because I believe I should be allowed to see my own test results and manage my own health with information that is contained in my medical records. This is a high level decision for Premier Radiology and they need to address it and revise it to be patient friendly sooner rather than later.

It makes the visit more pleasant since a mammogram is not the most fun thing to do any day. Necessary, I know but still not like eating a donut. The office staff and the technician are all very courteous and friendly. The exam is not terribly awkward and the technician takes her time to make sure she gets the best pictures.

They finally issued the scan report on June 24 (18 days to do a simple report!) After I was told this morning that the report was ready, I went to my lung doctor to get the results. I found that they did not perform the comparison; instead, they only reported on the scan from Hendersonville. Premier Radiology has been bought by Grovecourt Capital Partners, a private equity firm that only seems to care about the bottom line!!
