Sadly, my review is much like many others. The billing for Premier is a total mess. I was overcharged for an April 2025 visit. I discovered this through my insurance EOB, not via Premier as no statement was generated. I then requested a refund. The outsourced billing department has a script. When the script doesn't fit the narrative, they put you on hold. Then you are told that they will "expedite" it for you, but that never really happens. After many, many attempts at this, my husband finally tracked someone down through Facebook (as they do not do X anymore) and she was able to help. Fast forward four months and I had an additional test. Then came the statement reflecting ONE of my initial two payments and the credit back. Therefore it appeared I had now underpaid. Back to the outsourced billing department I go. Needless to say that got me nowhere and now I've been turned over to collections for $49. I would give the staff 4.5 stars if I could, but the billing totally negates their good efforts. read more

In office was great. HOWEVER, billing office is horrible. I went in and pd my bill in full. Then received bills to pay. After speaking to billing reps multiple times was told to send proof of payment. I sent proof(cc stmt). Then they turned it over to collections!! When calling back and speaking to 2 different ppl a supervisor is "in a meeting". Where was my pmt applied and why 6 mths later am i still dealing with issues for a pd bill. Would not file my Medicare, then turned it to collectors even though they said they would not and asked me to give them more time to process. When they finally filled with Medicare, it was paid after I paid the collection. Now they say another 45 days for them to refund. They have had 63 complaints with BBB in 3 years read more

I only give them a 1 star and not zero because of their office staff and work BUT I would give them a zero for billing. They have owed me a refund of almost $1200 for over 5 months and every time I call they say they will escalate it to the back office but it will take 45 days. It has been over 120 days and I have called and had it "escalated" no less than 4 times. You can bet if I owed them money they would track me down but no one will hel- me because it has been outsourced overseas So they can only send a message and escalate again. There is no way I or even them can talk to this "back office" that is not doing their job. read more

I've had a horrible experience with Premier Radiology 2 times and at 2 different locations when getting an MRI. A year ago I went to the Green Hills location. I waited an hour before they called me. More recently I went to the 300 20th Ave N location. I again waited for over 45 minutes. When I went back the technician couldn't get the IV in and because it was now so late, they had to reschedule me to another day because there wasn't anyone else there to do it. Now I'm dealing with billing issues. My insurance company has ruled it out of network because rather than putting Premier Radiology as the Provider, they put what I assume is the technician's name. Premier Radiology is In Network, but the person is not. I just called and got the same runaround regarding getting sent to back office that I see on other reviews here. They are saying they got paid, but my insurance is asking me for $1500 due to the provider not being In Network. I asked to speak with a manager and none was available. This is absolutely ridiculous and I will try to find another provider in the future. read more

where do I begin... I was having severe pain with my C6 and C7. I was advised from Vanderbilt to go to Premier Radiology to get an epidural in my neck Since Vanderbilt was full. Everything went smoothly until I got several text messages telling me that I owe over $1000. There was no statement attached either times and it got to the point I felt harassed. mind you, I tried to call several times trying to get someone in Nashville to no avail. Every time I called, I would get someone overseas and be given different answers. When I asked to be transferred to someone, it always went back to overseas. This went on for 3 weeks. I would get text messages with no statement attached but to pay. I was in the medical industry and understand how billing and HMO's work. Needless to say, premier is going to lose a lot of business if they do not get a better billing system. Sending text messages asking someone to pay via text several times with no statement attached is unacceptable. I told them that I will not pay until I get a statement. Date of service was 11/7/24. I finally got a December 15, 2024, which I will be gladly to pay. If this was someone that did not understand the billing system and how it works, would have just paid the amount worried that they could not pay that much, especially during the holiday season. I am blessed to be able to pay what is owed. However, again, for those that do not understand billing would only be paying it and be upset and worried about their finances. There should be a contact at the Nashville area for someone for us to complain to or resolve situations. Overseas could barely understand what I was saying and again I spent several hours trying to get this resolved. Because this was an emergency, they sent me to the doctor at Premier. Premier is going to get a bad reputation if they don't fix their billing system. If anyone should need any thing to do their medical needs, I would suggest to look elsewhere. read more

Terrible experience with MRI technician who was rude. The appointment was an hour late, but I didn't complain because things happen. But, she appeared to be in a rush. I needed an IV for the dye. On her 2nd attempt, she buried her thumb in my wrist and still have bruises over a week later. She was frustrated stating I should have drank more water. They were more concerned that I initialed the box stating I watched a video about the ptocedure, but there was no video to watch! Completely unprofessional. read more

Agreed over the phone to pay out of pocket for MRI since insurance had not approved yet. Arrived at appointment and the amount I was told was incorrect (it doubled). Appears the amount I was told over the phone was what my insurance pays, not self pay amount. Thats ridicules in itself as they should be happy to get the same amount at the time of service versus filing with my insurance. But being told one amount and arriving and being told double that amount is unacceptable. Left my family visiting from out of town the day before Thanksgiving to come to the appointment. What a waste of time. I have now rescheduled as I was not willing to pay double the amount. Will use other imaging companies in the future when I have an option. read more

Many medical service providers are apparently over charging patients for services. Here is how it works: The patient visits the service provider for tests, dental work, in patient care, etc. The patient pays their portion of the expense as a copay at the beginning of the visit. The medical service provider files a claim with the insurance provider and receives the payment they agreed to charge per their negotiated rate with the insurance company. Then they bill the patient for slightly over $100.00, per service. Most patients just pay the extra charge; no questions asked. This has already happened to me this year with another provider. I reported the "after," charges to my insurance carrier. They opened an investigation concerning that medical service provider. Shortly thereafter, I received a letter from that provider stating that the invoice had been canceled. I will report Premier Radiology to my insurance provider, January 2, 2024. read more

I have never been so frustrated by total incompetence. I have had 3 procedures with Premier. I must use them for my insurance. For each procedure, I have called the morning of procedure to confirm time, location, directions. Did the same today, arrived 45 minutes early for my MRI in Clarksville only to be told, "no, you are scheduled for Smyrna"! Ludicrous, I live nowhere near Smyrna and definitely confirmed Clarksville personally. I explained to them that I just confirmed, time, location, directions this morning. Sorry, can't help you. There is no reason to make walk-in patients registration and check-in so difficult. Either there's a walk-in or not. My experience started with question "I can schedule you for tomorrow?" Following with many undecided questions from the person working the front desk. Simple is better. read more

Why would you have Fox News on the TV with no ability to change the channel? People are here for health concerns and having a neutral channel on would be more appropriate. It is incongruent to have a global pandemic health crisis denying TV channel on in a medical office. Separately, the intake process could be streamlined significantly. If I could give this 0 stars, I would. The ultrasound tech was incredibly rude and provided no detailed information for the additional scans I was ordered to have. Hundreds of dollars out-of-pocket later, I received no details to what the scan revealed, why I had to take additional tests, and a medical letter in the mail that had whited-out information. They give the impression they have no idea what they are doing but have no problem charging a significant amount of money. read more

I went to the Hermitage location. The scan itself didn't take long to schedule or to complete, which is a plus. The woman running the front desk, however, should not be in the position she is in. She was rude and condescending...not only to me but to other patients that arrived after I did. I'd chock it up to her having a bad day, but she wasn't any nicer when I called to set the appointment up the day before. Having any sort of scan like the ones that are done here is stressful enough for patients. No one needs to be made to feel more anxious by unkind employees. read more

Don't waste your time or money. We are trying to have a baby. My doctor is out of state. I had schedule an ultrasound in Nashville for my doctor to review images which is impertive in my situation as I was on hormones. I went to the first location and informed the office, as was on my doctors order, that we needed images and it was a STAT need. Apparently my doctor did not receive what they asked for so I had to schedule yet another ultrasound the next day. My doctors received a report. No images. I ran to another office in Brentwood to get a copy of those images on a CD. It appears that this imaging center makes it incredibly difficult to obtain your own images! I asked if they could send images to my doctor, as he is out of state. NO. I asked if there was a portal that my doctor can access to get the images as it was STAT. NO. So the gentleman at the front desk proceeds to give me a CD. Who the heck has CD's in their computer anymore? I went to Fed Ex store to buy a USB drive, pay to transfer these weird files on the USB. I tried wetransfering my doctor, but they could not open. Then I had to go back to fed ex to spend another $80 to fed ex the next business day to my doctor, which when they recieved the CD, my doctors office could not open. Tried on 3 different computers. There were NO IMAGES on the CD. So I had to cancel my cycle. I had been on 2.5 weeks of hormones and had to cancel because of the absolute disregard these people at these offices have. At what point do you have an IMAGING center that you don't provide images for? It's already an emotional period going through what we are going through, this place does not help in the least bit. read more

Received the bill for the first and paid it, but it was posted to the second resulting in my not receiving a bill for the second one but leaving the first listed as unpaid! I've been rescheduled 3 times for a bilateral diagnostic mammogram. The first two times supposedly no techs were available and this last time the machine is broken, how convenient! You are dealing with peoples livelihood and are just so nonchalant and uncaring! I can't speak for the other locations but the Hermitage location doesn't care about their potential patients! How can you schedule people for appointments and then cancel the day of? My second appointment they didn't even have the decency to call to let me know it was canceled. Billing department is unacceptable. I have been working to get a refund for overpayment since September 2021. During this process I found out I was owed even more money from an additional two other instances of overpayment for a total of well over $1000.00. One of those overpayments was from January 2020. I will no longer pay the estimated amount that I am quoted. Will wait until insurance is paid! Customer service reps are not helpful and all requests to talk to a supervisor were always met with the reply, "Unfortunately, my supervisor is unavailable." read more

Why places like this don't feel customer service is important is beyond belief. Had a 10:00 appointment and got there 10 minutes early to complete paperwork. No hello at check-in only Insurance Card, ID and credit card. Waited 49 minutes in an over crowded waiting room. Went to the desk and ask about the wait and how much longer and she went into the back and came back with the answer of 15 more minutes. I waited another 20 minutes went back to the desk and asked for my money back and headed out the door. The lady at the desk acted like she didn't care and that this happens all the time. Please don't use this company. Do your research as you don't have to use who your Doctor says. We at some point have to shift the medical business back to acceptable customer service. I find the larger the company the less they care. Just give me you insurance card, ID and credit card...... read more

I've been here twice this year and everyone was friendly. They got me in and out quickly. All precautions in place for COVID.

The nicest clerk checked me in and sent me on to the office where several people were waiting to have their procedures. I wasn't given specific instructions so I went to the window where a very rude clerk let me know I ruined her life and needed to go sit down as I had wasted two minutes of her life she could never get back. Everyone else was very polite and friendly. Miss rude clerk; bad manners and a bad attitude never pay. This would be a 5 star rating but for you. I suspect your coworkers know who you are and clients won't take your surly attitude personally now. You stick out like a sore thumb amongst this very nice staff in the Hermitage office. read more

Worst experience. I was told to get to their office at 11:45 for an MRI that was scheduled at noon. After checked in I notice my phone ringing of course I ignored it. After filling out paperwork I was called back to the front and was told that my insurance was pending for my MRI. Now this was schedule almost a week ago so why wasn't I at least called that morning before my appointment. The lady proceeds to tell me they called at 11:50 which was the call I got when I was already checked in. I asked to speak to the manager and she told me there wasn't one and she was the lead.
