I thought I only needed a chip repair- but by the time I got to work, that chip stretched to a 5" crack. And by the weekend, that shit stretched way more. The good thing was that hubs immediately plugged in all the necessary deets on crack size and the location of it right from his phone using our car insurance app to book my appointment at no cost to us to get my glass replaced. The bad thing was, I'd had to wait til Monday afterwork to get my windshield fixed. I was really hoping for one of their mobile technicians to come to where I was parked by my job- but somehow, that wasn't available. Not far from The Container Store in White Plains, this Safelite came to the rescue just right. I confirmed my appointment at the "office" then spoke to one of the technicians who filled me in on how much time it'll take to replace the windshield. With a fleet of a few technicians, they made sure my car was taken care and I'd pick up my car in like 2-3 hours because of the "EyeSight" feature in my car that added extra time.
