I have had 3 scheduled and confirmed interviews with Adecco Staffing. In each instance I was supposed to receive a telephone call at a specific time. I received no phone calls nor have email and telephone inquiries received responses. I don't understand how or why this company exists. Don't waste your time or emotional energy with them. read more

If you enjoy not being paid in a timely fashion, if you enjoy not having your calls answered or even returned EVER, if you enjoy no communication whatsoever and you like being given the runaround, you should absolutely work here!! A friend worked for the Beaverton OR location and they suck! Nobody answers the phone or emails any time of day, or returns them the next day. Her first paycheck was delayed by SIX DAYS! Second paycheck was lost in the mail, and nobody knew where it was. Come to find out, it was sent to a completely different address!! So she got a handwritten check, and when she asked about the paystub, she was told "just look online". Gee thanks. And to top it all off, her check was RETURNED. That is not a good sign!! And again, nobody knew anything about it. Nobody returns calls, emails, texts, YET AGAIN. It's bs, and it's against the law! I'll be filing with the BBB. Final: don't work here. There are plenty of staffing agencies in the area with the same opportunities that can pay you ON TIME and return your calls!! read more

I applied for a position at Adecco. I immediately received automated texts saying I was a good fit. They asked me when was a good time to schedule a phone interview, I picked a time. I received confirmation of my phone interview through text and email and I never received a call. Clearly they don't really care about hiring people. Why put the ad up?! It doesn't make any sense. I don't even want to work here anymore and would not recommend it to anyone. Very poor professionalism as a company. read more

Teri is a joy to work with--quick turn around, courteous, warm, patient. The other people in the Beaverton office are hard-working and pleasant. A lot of good humor in that office every time you come in! The website for Adecco proper has tons of online classes and how-to pages, fast sign up process if your documents are in order, and quick placement if you have relevant skills. When placed, Adecco gives full benefits and health insurance and takes care of HR issues for you, not necessarily the company whom you perform work for. If you are aware that Adecco's clients are companies who need workers, not you, and you are aware you must be a good "product" with skills for Adecco to place, negative reviews here make a lot more sense. You cannot be mad at Adecco that you did not get the job you want or you did not perform well at the job you got or you're not getting bites because the company did not want you--spiff up your resume and look up Adecco's classes on interviewing. Adecco's job is to align you to companies you might not have known were interviewing. read more

Various Adecco staff have helped me get employment assignments which have been lifelines to me. There is always room for improvement for all of us and mistakes occur--I'm saddened that Tyler has been trashed by previous Yelp posts. Tyler, has repeatedly helped me and was actively engaged in listening, responding and working with me--a consummate professional! The same goes for Teri Hajir! I only wish to request that once an assignment was ended, I could communicate directly with the employer to dialogue about my performance--I'm inclined to think that Adecco does not have the choice to make in that matter. read more

The people running the show here are idiots. The person who helped me was named Tyler and couldn't have been older than 21 or 20. Didn't even remember talking to me about the job he offered. Tried to get me to take the drug test twice, then lied about it later and said he didn't. Kept telling me about available jobs, then within the hour they were unavailable because they "were going fast". Then don't give them away!! Save it for the person you offered it to! When I complained to Teri and asked for her help instead, they obviously had a talk together and Tyler sent me a typical millennial 'well it wasn't my fault it was your fault' email instead of just moving forward without the drama. But no. Like I said, idiots work here. Don't come here for temporary work. All these people care about is making money off of you via commission. How could you not remember talking to someone the day before? How drunk or high do you have to be? It was laughable that this dude was asking me about my customer service skills when he couldn't even provide me with customer service that didn't sound like bored response texts from a stoned teenager. read more

One of the most disorganized businesses I have ever worked with. The guy at the front desk was new and the only male there. There was a tension in the air because obviously he needed help and no one was willing to hlep him. I had an appointment the day I showed up and no one knew who I was. After explaining three times I was hired outside of them but was doing my background checks there, the bigger girl in the back far right dest, out of nowhere threw her headset and stomped out of the room! Oh it gets a lot worse.. in order for you to work for theses folks you have to fill out 2, yes 2 hours of paperwork on the computer. I was told that my first endeavor didn't come through. Ok.. this happens. But after another 2 hours of online paper work, multiple copies of my passport, drivers license, diplomas, and a drug test I'm told the next day my position was "suspended". Now for the record I received this job offer through friends at a major technology company. So I call them up and to my, and theres, shock the jobs still open and because the kids running this staffing agency don't want to get in trouble for not working they simply lied an have created a headache for my friends and there company. Last thoughts: Do not go here for employment. They do not staff men, they sell your personal information and lie to both their clients ie employees and employers. read more

No communication regarding pertinent status of employment. Misrepresented position. On day 4 of "possible year to two year assignment" e-mail to all in the department of 8 that was just hired, possible lay-off notification. I arrived at 5:50am this morning and my badge did not work and all log-in had been disabled. Without anyone telling a single one of 8 of us we all were "furlowed for a week" and probable "termination of many if not all positions in department." Business needs change constantly, what should not be affected though is the right to awareness by the employee, proper business etiquette, among other things. Adecco first contacted me with a job opening. When I went into the office, they were really eager to get me hired onto a particular job, and said that I was very desired there. I was excited and felt like things were going to move very quickly. They said they would send my resume and information over to the company, and then I would interview with them. However, after I left the office, I never got contacted by them again. They never reached out to me about the job, and did not send over my resume to the other company. I was very disappointed, and felt like I was led on to believe I would easily be able to get this job. Additionally, while I was in the office filling out my paperwork (which went on for about 45 mins.), the only thing the two employees were doing was gossiping. I found that to be very unprofessional. I'm not sure where to begin. I suppose I'll begin with the fact that I will never be using adecco for any of my future endeavors, nor will I advise anyone else to do so. I have met with many recruiting agencies that are far more professional, knowledgable, and helpful than adecco. Once they placed an open position for me they dogged my emails , calls, and any sort of communication I had regarding the job description. It wasn't until the day of my "training" that they gave any form of direction of what the job would entail. Furthermore, I started the next day at Epiq Systems. I truly couldn't imagine anything worse than the hiring process itself- but sure enough, I was wrong. I was thrown into a CALL CENTER environment ( when I was specifically told otherwise). I had no idea what to do, I had no idea which programs to use, I had absolutely no sense of direction of what I was supposed to be working on. The managers were nearly as clueless as I was. I shortly noticed a pattern when nobody knew what to do. I miserably lasted a long four weeks before I was burnt out, miserable, exhausted, and needed to walk out. I would walk into work every single day starting and working on a new assignment. Every day was different. I don't believe I ever completed anything because of how many times I was directed to do other things. There was no professionalism, no clarity, no direction, nothing. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Every day there was truly a complete disaster. I truly have no idea how any human being could work there.
