Our guest raved about the food for weeks! (We're still hearing about it from friends and family). The beef tenderloin was fantastic, our guests raved about how perfect it was cooked, a true feat especially when prepared in mass. Everyone loved the chicken empanadas, the mojo chicken, the charcuterie cones, and the tuna tartar. We opted for a vegetarian pállela for our vegan/vegetarian friends and it was a hit. The deal was sealed when everyone lined up for seconds of dessert, Flan and Ice Cream. I live in Miami Beach, and there's only one good Mexican spot near me, so finding this place was such a treat. The quality and authenticity here are on another level. Generously filled, perfectly seasoned, and came with some great green (or red if you prefer) salsa on the side. The gentleman serving the taco was friendly and asked if I needed a fork with mine. It was authentic street taco style, served up on two corn tortillas with radish, cilantro, and onion. Highly recommend grabbing one after your hike, or even stopping by for a quick bite like I did. At $3.50 for one, the price isn't bad either. PS There are a few tables with umbrellas available to eat at, and parking nearby is metered. Worth it!

During the winter, they have Miracle Christmas pop up with Christmas themed drinks. Apparently, we weren't the only ones, that received the E-mail. We let the bartender know that we had a reservation, the answer was pretty much; see if you can find a seat. First off - they should change the name from Flores Tapas to Flores - burger and taco shack. Based on the "new" menu. It's very sad - because it's neither "fish nor fowl". Is it Mexican street food or a burger joint? It takes forever for the food to come out of a totally confused kitchen and even though there are numbers on the table, they don't know where to bring it. It's the fault of the "21st century"ordering system they are employing. IT is totally "Fakakta"!! Theoretically, the order goes from your phone to the kitchen, where they process it and prepare your food, then the runner brings it to your table. The reality is disappointingly different. You're better off, sitting at the bar; getting blitzed and watching TV. The fast food gets there sooner! You can do that at home and not have to worry about driving home drunk.
