They responded back the same day and set up a time to come look at the house and give us a quote. He came out on Thursday and said he would call us on Friday with a quote. Wife and I had agreed we were going to use them, just wait and hear back. Friday came and went with no call. I waited until Saturday and nothing. I emailed the guy that came out to our house. Nothing. I then emailed the owner. Nothing. On Sunday, our moving company called and I explained I had not heard back from packers. He said he would call them. A few hours later, the owner responded with an email asking if we ever heard from the worker that came to our house. The owner explained he was out of town with a sick family member. I responded back that I understood completely but would love to get the quote back and get busy since our move was happening in a couple of days. No response again, from anyone. So we decided at last minute to pack our house and get it ready in two days! Communication has been horrible. The owner seems like a good guy and I understand he has a sick family member. We were broke down on the side of I20 in the pouring rain. Aaron was our first call and boy he was a lifesaver. He immediately wanted to know what our issue was. He came out within 20 minutes in the pouring rain with a battery to get us enough power to get us off of that very busy, very frightening freeway. Still stuck on the side of the service road Aaron removed the alternator then traveled to the auto parts store to have it tested. There were two helpful gentlemen at the front desk. However, a man approached us, who appeared to be a manager, who had overheard our conversation, at which he chimed in abruptly. I had asked for a quote on a larger excavator in which the guys initially were working on for me. The appeared manager asked what my intended use for it was and I replied with tree and dirt work and before finishing the sentence he was shaking his head as that of a child would do if not getting their way. I replied with "ok" and he continued with letting me know that I have to have commercial insurance, which i currently possess, and continued with the saying that " i will probably damage the equipment. The "manager" explained they were purchased for an oil company and not intended for the manner in which I had talked about. Personally, his act was not professional at all. I do have experience with the machines and to just assume that I would misuse the machine was unprofessional, and quite frankly rude and churlish. I am appreciative of the two younger guys at the front desk that assisted me in checking if the equipment was available and coming up with a quote. If the equipment is out front for rental, it appears to be ready for use. If not, then i would suggest moving to another location.
