Rachel was phenomenal for our daughters 5th birthday party. She was prompt and professional to communicate with up to the event. And she was fantastic with the kids. She's wicked talented making balloon animals and doing face paint. Honestly, I've never seen someone create so many quality creations so quickly. She was able to accommodate our party of 15 or so kids at a park with ease. We also loved how patient she was with our daughter, knowing that it takes a little time for her to warm up and ask for things. Will definitely be keeping Rachel in mind for future events! Thanks, Rachel! You truly are amazing. read more

Rachel was personable with children and adults. Her skills in balloons and face painting were high above other entertainers I've hired in the past. She was on time (early in fact). Her costume was adorable. read more

Rachel was fantastic! The way she kept our large group of children entertained was amazing. The kids sat down during her show and were captivated. (All ages 2-8). Then her balloon animals were made so quickly. I can't believe she accomplished so much in one hour. Would highly recommend! read more

We were at Alta Plaza park as usual on a weekend morning with our toddlers and saw Rachel at a nearby birthday party in the park - imagine a group of toddlers, all happy and entertained, while their parents could peacefully enjoy a break and smile watching their happy kids. All in a pretty contained small space in a part of the park. I was kinda blown away. We went up to her, got her card, called her, and hired her for our daughter's birthday party in the park. She did an amazing job - singing, dancing, face painting, finger puppets, balloons, the whole nine yards. The kids loved her and it made the party so much more peaceful. Zero tantrums! And at the end, she made these "balloon wings" for the kids that they got to keep and they all loved it. Imagine seeing a bunch of happy kids running around with balloon wings on - what a sight. On top of all of that, she was so easy to work with - as a parent, that gave me peace of mind. Her reviews are glowing here on Yelp for very good and very well deserved reason. Total rockstar, 6 stars if I could. read more

Rachel was amazing for my 5 year old daughter's party! Everything she did was superb. The balloon creations, the creative face painting and glitter tattoos were all a big hit. She is organized , accountable and timely. I would hire her again easily! Highly recommend. read more

I am so thankful for the amazing rachel! We were scheduled to have my daughter's 5th birthday at a local park, and I hired her to do some facepainting/magic, etc with the kids. She was easy to plan with and responded very quickly to my questions. The week of the party, we realized that our party was going to get rained out. We relocated to my aunt's basement which was a little small for the number of kids we had invited. THANK GOD FOR RACHEL. I don't know how I would have kept the kids entertained in that small space. Rachel kept them captivated for the hour and a half that we had her there. And her facepainting is truly magical. One of the moms commented that her child's face was "broadway ready for Cats." In my stressy state, Rachel was a light of positive energy with a big group of 4 and 5 year olds! read more

Rachel made my daughters 2nd birthday party! She was able to do amazing face painting and balloon animals that kept kids from 2 -10 entertained including the adults. I'm so glad we booked her and look forward to booking her for many birthdays to come. read more

The Amazing Rachel completely captivated our birthday party crew of 12 kids from 2-7 years old. She made sure everyone got their face painted, sang songs and parachute games, then each child got a ballon of their choice too. read more

Rachel did an amazing job! We had her at a company event for employees and families. She came dressed as a mermaid. A few kids are very shy and they even warmed up to her! She created balloons, did face painting and a magic show. We would hire her again in a heart beat! read more

Whatever word is better than amazing, that's what The Amazing Rachel is, hands down. She was so easy and pleasant to work with before the party. I was worried because I was at a loss for what to do with X amount of kids, all different ages, most of them being on the shy side. She worked with me and told me she'd do a variety of things--and that she did! Her energy was infectious from the start and she was a total pro for handling the kids and keeping them excited and busy. She went out of her way to dress accordingly to my daughter's theme (Moana) and did activities to keep the theme relevant as well. Her face painting is definitely one of the best I've seen and she gave some awesome balloon twisting too. Her magic show was captivating--I struggled to keep the guests entertained because all I wanted to do was watch The Amazing Rachel even helped me tie in my pregnancy announcement into the magic show for a great reveal! The kids completely adored her, the parents loved her and wouldn't stop asking me where I found her, and I couldn't recommend a better person to entertain at parties from now on. Best of the best! read more

Rachel is awesome!!! From the planning stages to execution, it was a pleasure working with her. She brought life to the party and was very entertaining every step of the way. She was proactive with the kids and was very involved. She gave me time to do everything else that needed my attention for my one-year olds party and I am so thankful I found her!! read more

Rachel is the ultimate pro. Her face painting work is truly amazing and fast! She is so good with children and a pleasure to work with. She arrived early, dressed in theme, and spent the next two hours wow-ing everyone with her face painting, balloon art and engaging personality. read more

Amazing Rachel is the best! She's come to my daughter's 2nd and 3rd birthday parties. Last year she did a great job getting all the toddlers engaged in music, parachute, bubbles and more. The older kids loved the face paint and balloon animals. This year, with the kids a bit older, she did the balloon animals and face paint the whole time and everyone loved it. I asked my 3 year old what her favorite part of her witches ball Halloween-themed party was and it was the balloon broom Rachel made. The look on her face when Rachel surprised her with it was priceless. I love how she can fit any theme (she was a witch this time and dressed for a safari per our theme last year). She's always a little early and even though I think her schedule is jam-packed, I still think she stays a little beyond the contracted time. Thank you Rachel! read more

I cannot recommend Rachel highly enough! She entertained at my son's 4th b-day party as Wonder Woman. She was amazing to work with from start to finish. Very professional, even offered me a costume choice so she wasn't a too-revealing wonder woman. She confirmed our party the day before, arrived on time and was ready to go. She painted all the kids faces and even some adults too and stayed in character the entire time, talking about her invisible jet, it was hysterical. She is so lively, fun and energetic. She is an amazing face painter and did a little magic show with the birthday boy. The thing i really appreciated about her was her ability to draw out the kids who were a bit shy about getting their face painted. She even remembered all their names and there was about 30 kids there, it was incredible! The kids absolutely LOVED her. She went to call them in from the playground for the magic show - and if you've ever tried to get kids off the playground to go sit down inside, you know how difficult that it. The kids were drawn to her and were excited to be in her company. Many parents asked how i had discovered her and for her contact info. Highly recommended! read more

Rachel the Bumble Bee made an appearance at my daughters 1st birthday party. She's very talented and so sweet! I was very impressed with the face painting and balloon designs. I even jumped in on all the fun and had my face painted. I highly recommend Rachel, she will not disappoint and will be the highlight of the party. Buzz buzz! read more

Fabulous! Rachel (aka Velma from Scooby Do) entertained at my daughter's 4th birthday party and she was fantastic! "Velma" held the attention of kids and adults alike with her hilarious antics, age-appropriate games, and incredible face-painting and balloon art skills. She stayed in character the entire time -- even when she called to tell me she was looking for parking -- "Jeepers, I think I see a spot up ahead." We loved every minute of her show, and will definitely be calling her again. read more

After attending many children's parties and hosting them myself, I learned this past Sunday, that there a two types of children's party "entertainers". The first are the ones that dress up as your favorite character, put on a mask, stand and wave not uttering a single word while a tape recorder does the talking for them.(which it totally out of sync by the way). And then there is Rachel, a True Entertainer, and WOW, we were, adults and children, were completely impressed. She came in as a Pirate and never broke character, not even once. When she arrived, she quickly accessed the situation, rounded up the children up with pirate talk, and began to make pirates balloon swords which the children loved and played with throughout the party, followed by awesome face painting and I am not talking about a simple happy face and rainbow. Her work was very detailed and she handled everything with ease. On a side note, I had to reschedule the location of the party due to rain, and Rachel was very professional about it. She even recommended several locations as a replacement. I definitely recommend Rachel for your party:) read more

Rachel the Pirate came to our house for our daughter's birthday and didn't break character the entire time she was here. She was fantastic - her amazing balloon art, fun magic, and beautiful face painting captivated us all. She is super nice and has attention to detail. By having her at the party the pressure was off to entertain so many people and we felt like we could actually enjoy ourselves. The most organized party we've ever thrown. Thanks Rachel!! read more

Rachel the Bee entertained at my daughter's first birthday yesterday at Sweet Connections in San Bruno and I absolutely loved her! Everyone was amazed how she stayed in character as a happy bee the whole time! We hired her to do a magic show and balloon-making for the kids. The kids LOVED her. They followed her everywhere. Her talent with the balloons were the best I have ever seen and she is so fast! She charges a little more than other entertainers but she was totally worth it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RACHEL for your kid's party! Thank you Rachel! So glad you played a big part in making my daughter's party so memorable :) read more

The Amazing Rachel is truly magic. She is like the sun that all the children gravitate towards. 5 stars++++++++. Rachel is simply AMAZING. She did face painting and balloon creations for our daughter's 4th birthday, and I can't say enough. The kids were thrilled.....and the parents were totally blown away. Many parents told me they'd never seen anything like it. Rachel was a pleasure to work with in terms of arrangements. She arrived early, and even stayed a bit late to ensure every child was happy. THANK YOU, Rachel! We will absolutely have you for our next celebration!! read more

It's the day after my daughter's 1st birthday and Rachel "Snow White" was one of the highlights of the party! She was great with all ages, super easy to work with, prompt, and super talented. While at the party, she had a puppet show, face painting, balloons, and a colorful parachute game with the kids. All in the course of 2 hours! We had so many compliments from parents and kids were smiling from ear to ear! Thank you Rachel for making Julia's 1st birthday so special and one to remember!! read more

Rachel was a perfect fit for our needs! We threw an UNO party (and infant's first birthday) and Rachel was very easy to collaborate with. A big plus is that her website is very easy to navigate and understand. Although she offers many different packages, she was super collaborative and accommodating and customized her entertainment based on the flow of the actual party itself. She is also a very good texter which makes for convenient communication. We hired her for 2 hours for face painting + balloon making + general entertaining of about 10-15 kids ranging in ages from 2 - 6 (and even a couple of pre-teens!). Rachel is extremely professional, timely and considerate. I really enjoyed having her and would hire her again for any other function . She made beautiful balloons that the children loved + her artwork was very very nice. The kids had a great time. Because there was so much going on at the party (which consisted of mostly adults) Rachel's presence served as a small entertainment space just for the kids, and they really responded well to her! Thanks again Rachel! read more

The Amazing Rachel made our daughter's third birthday so incredibly special. Not only did my daughter have an amazing time, all of her friends did too. We got so many compliments from parents saying how talented Rachel was, and every bit of it was spot on! She was so very talented. She dressed as a tiger and blew us away with her very professional face painting - my daughter had her whole face painted as a 'rainbow tiger.' Then the balloon animals really blew our expectations out of the water! She gave everyone butterfly wings to wear on their backs, and some of the kids wore unicorns, it was very impressive. And whatever Rachel did, she always made sure to make my daughter feel extra special since it was her birthday. We would recommend Rachel to anyone, and will definitely be working with her again in the future. Thank you a million times again Rachel! read more

"What does she NOT do?" That is the question I got a hundred and one times when Rachel did my daughter's 3rd birthday party where we had 15-20 kids. She is amazing! The kids loved her. She was laid back (no lines for balloons or face painting), but still got everyone who wanted face painting and balloons done. They enjoyed her magic show as well. VERY easy to work with to reserve our time and day. Prompt responses whenever I had any questions. On time to the party. All smiles. Overall, amazing experience for everyone! Thanks, Rachel! read more

I researched and researched to find the best balloon entertainer in the city... and I found her!!! Rachel was AMAZING.... we hosted a party of nearly 50 adults and 20 children for our twins and she had everyone entertained. She masterfully grabbed the children's attention and was able to keep it for the duration of the party. The balloon creations were amazing and the face painting the best I've ever seen. Plus her Ringleader costume was perfect for our CIRCUS theme. I would hands down recommend her. read more

The disco queen arrived early to our roller disco party in full eighties regalia AND rocking her own roller skates. We had 30 kids. She face painted (elaborate full face stuff), made balloon animals (huge fairy wings & Alice in Wonderland HUGE flowers), helped skitish kids learn to skate, danced with them to the hokey pokey (ON SKATES)...the list goes on. Just to be clear - those 30 kids got face paint AND an elaborate balloon animal. Not "or" folks! She was like lightening or magic or something. I would recommend her without hesitation - just for her face painting/balloon making alone - but she went the extra mile and had fun with all the kids. Great job!! read more

Rachel is the best!!! We hired her to provide entertainment for the kids (and adults) at our wedding this March. Not only did she deliver on her promise to entertain all the kids, but she coordinated with our venue, dressed to match our wedding colors and style, entertained adults as well, and brought balloons for balloon animals and crowns that matched our wedding colors! She was extremely easy to work with and was enjoyed by everyone at our wedding! Our venue was not very kid-friendly but that was no problem for Rachel. Her pricing is extremely reasonable as well. We can't wait to work with her in the future and we recommend her to everyone for all their events!! read more

Even before meeting Rachel at our daughter's party she was a delight to talk to and work with. We hosted a 2nd Yo Gabba Gabba party which Rachel didn't already have a costume for (surprise, surpise!) but she definitely accomodated us and came dressed as DJ Lance and rocked the party with the kiddies. Her facepainting and balloons were like no other and she's fast (but not rushed) so she was also able to fit in parachute play and singing with the kids. Many of the parents asked me where I found her (Yelp!) and the kids were following her around everywhere because they just loved her. Thank you Rachel for making our daughter's party even more special. We look forward to seeing you again at our party's! Yo Gabba Gabba :) read more

The Amazing Rachel lives up to her name! She was perfect for what we wanted and needed for my son's 1st birthday party. We had about 15 kids, aged 1 to 8 years and she was fantastic with all of them. Amazing Rachel was WAY MORE than amazing! She was so friendly and flexible from very start. My son and 20+ of his friends loved her. She did such a great job of keeping them all entertained with face painting, ninja training, magic tricks, and balloon making. She has so much talent, and so much heart! Even after nearly 2 hours of madness and packing up her gear, Amazing Rachel still made more balloon animals when she saw a few late comers arrive. We loved her! read more

Rachel from Add Some Fun is absolutely great! I first saw her at a 2 year olds birthday party where she made amazing balloon animals, trains, and cars even Nemo. I hired her for my son's 3rd birthday party to do balloon animals and face painting for his little friends. She was an absolute thrill for the kids - anything that the kids requested she would make from Dinosaurs, to fairy wings, McQueen the car, drag racers, and Thomas the train. The face painting that she does is also amazing. For instance, one little boy wanted to be a lion and she did an amazing transformation with face painting and balloons to make him look just like a lion. I have only wonderful things to say about her work and would highly recommend her for any children's party your kids will have a blast. read more

Frankly Wonder Woman is the most brilliant story teller I have witnessed in years. She captivated the audience, children and parents alike. Then, as if that was not enough her artistic ability in (face painting) was so professional and creative and Disney like. Her creativity and brushstrokes. Lastly, imagine entertaining 20 or so kids for two hours or more, her energy and ability to handle all types of personalities was beyond words. You can't go wrong with Wonder Woman! read more

For over 10 years Amazing Rachel has been part of our celebrations. She is everything you want in an entertainer. She's fun, funny, super talented, fast, prompt, flexible, nice and professional. I have hired Rachel to do my families birthday parties, elementary school festivals, our halloween anniversary party, picnics, halloween and more. Her face painting is incredible - she's fast yet it always looks beautiful and well done. She has a huge array of costumes and great at staying in character including having an accent and subject knowledge. At the parties she has twisted balloons, face painted, henna, glitter tattoos, taught dancing, played games and done magic. It is "Amazing" how much she can do in an hour. She is great with babies, young kids, teenagers, Down's kids and adults. Just recently we had a Hawaiian themed birthday party for my husband. She came all dressed up and had my husband on stage. She had 40+ people laughing and doing the hula, including my adult sons and their friends. If we have a party - she is there - she is practically part of our family. read more

Can I just say WOW! Rachel was awesome from the first point of contact until she made the last helicopter balloon for the kiddies! Great with communication, up front but also very warm. She took care of my son's first birthday party where we had about 20 kids ranging from about 2 to 5 years old. They all loved her! My 3 year old opened up to her like he does with his own preschool teacher and to this day still keeps asking when we can see Rachel again.
