i was visiting my 93 year old father, who recently moved to the Edmonds Landing retirement home…read more Unfortunately, he had a stroke and has some mobility issues. My lovely brother, Tony bought him an expensive walker. Its a wonderful walker, however designed for a man much larger and more weight than my father. Being a former ergonomic consultant, I could tell that this walker was not suitable for my father. He could care less about my opinion. He just didn't like the expensive walker. I came over to visit him and he requested that I take him here. So we came here, in search of a walker. They are open limited hours, until 3 pm, so my father had not been able to come here before 3 pm. As you walk in, you have a plethora of medical devices available. Wheelchairs, crutches, walkers and every type of medical device one might need. Now the staff is all volunteer. No one is paid to work here. I know in my experience , a walker needs to be individualized. A walker needs to meet the physical requirements of the person using it. Fortunately, we had the services of Mike, a volunteer. He measured every walker and showed the results to my rather stubborn father. There was an excellent walker that met my father's requirements, but he disliked the seat. He would have rarely sat in the seat, but I held my tongue as to my opinion. So, he chose another version. Mike recommend larger rubber tires for my father, as he would use the walker outside. He also adjusted the height of the handlebars, to better suit my father. We spent about two hours, trying out a variety of walkers. My father ended up with a pristine condition walker. Easily collapsible. For 45.00 dollars. Plus, for every purchase you got a variety of personal care items for free. A great experience here. My frugal father was quite pleased with the price he paid. Fortunately, this walker is also collapsable, to reduce space In their tiny retirement home space. Overall, excellent customer service and a great price. They also offer a one week return policy and adjustments, if you are not satisfied. Love the experience here.

Found this place through my brother, when my mother passed away we donated her equipment here…read more About a month or two ago I also donated two scooter batteries here myself. Had mother in laws scooter quit working. Called them on a Wednesday. Very nice girl answered and we spoke. She said yes, bring it in, no problem. I arrived and she again was very nice. She brought out a guy. He also was very nice. Tagged it and gave me a claim ticket. Simply called in on Friday just to check in. Got completely chewed out by a very rude lady. She wanted to know why I would bring in a scooter for repair. We don't do that ! She went on and on and was a real bit** about it. Then a guy got on the phone and was also not very nice, but not as bad as the rude lady. I just went and picked it back up. Hey, I called and asked. I was told to bring it in, why would you talk to me like that two days later ? Simply rude. The first girl and guy very nice on phone and in person. The guy and lady on Friday need new jobs if they hate working there. Just rude. What EXACTLY did I do wrong lady ? In my mind, it's pretty simple, if you didn't want to work on it or if you don't work on them, simply just tell me that when I called on the phone instead of saying, sure no problem bring it in and we'll look at it for you.

She helped me pick out the perfect mask for my medical issues and went out of her way to be kind. She had spent a long time before my appointment highlighting my medical chart from a sleep study and my packet of how and when to clean the parts of my BIPAP. She also covered my replacement schedule with Medicare. She made sure to give me her business card and told me to call with any problems for my machine and Mask. *** Michel is one of the kindest medical professionals I have ever dealt with after years of medical care with disabilities. She leads her patient care with a lot of heart and compassion. I feel very lucky to have Michel helping me with my BIPAP moving forward. She is a wonderful person and has 10/5 stars for customer service. Thank you Performance home medical!!

Horrible customer experience. DO NOT USE Performance Home Medical…read more I've been using this company for 2 years, and their customer service representatives are consistently incompetent. I stopped using them for about 6 months because I had plenty of supplies, but on March 7th I contacted them to restart service with one very clear condition: I needed supplies delivered by Friday, 5/22, because I'm leaving the country the following week for 3 weeks. Despite confirming the urgency, UPS tracking now shows the package will arrive 2 days after I leave. At this point, maybe one of the neighbor kids will steal the package thinking it's something fun or valuable -- surprise. I will absolutely be discontinuing service with Performance Home Medical for multiple reasons, including the fact that every single person I've talked to -- from intake to managers -- has been completely incompetent and incapable of handling even simple customer requests. I've spent hours on hold waiting for answers, and I've been lied to by both representatives and managers and the call back system they have doesn't work at all. NEVER AGAIN!

After moving to Edmonds and seeing the positive reviews I was looking forward to being a customer…read moreof a local establishment. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I've been extremely disappointed. One of my meds they told me they do not have in stock and will not be ordering it. When I asked why not or if they'd ever order it they said not many of their patients request it. Other times when I've asked about it they said there is often a shortage because it's being over-prescribed which seems like the opposite issue then no one needing it. Still they never offered to carry it so I had to go to a separate pharmacy just for that med. My other meds became more expensive at Edmonds Pharmacy than the other pharmacies so I ended up transitioning them elsewhere. There is never a notification of meds being ready via text/phone or any other method so sometimes I'd go and they'd not have gotten the order or they had something waiting for me for a long time that I didnt know they filled. Today was the last straw though, I tested positive for Covid after having severe symptoms and wanted to get the prescription for Paxlovid filled nearby but when the provider contacted Edmonds Pharmacy they were told that they don't carry Paxlovid. My provider called me shocked and told me it was unbelievable they dont carry this of all things. Please think about the community you're serving and re-evaluate the decision to carry meds your customers are requesting.

There is a world of difference between these two pharmacies! Edmonds Family Pharmacy is always friendly, prompt and texts me about my prescription being ready, even before I've contacted them for a refill! They are on top of their game and I would give them ten stars, if possible! The other benefit is that I like supporting smaller local businesses. I hope that Edmonds Family Pharmacy continues to thrive in our ever-changing market!
