The florist was a very cool lady. She was receptive of what we wanted and oh DID She Deliver. We left there confident that we were heard and that we felt we would be really satisfied when we pick up our order. YES, we were Very Satisfied with both pieces. . Would Def choose Adaptation Floral Design again. read more

Adaptation Floral Design - Florists Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

Flowers can be amazing or a total cop out present depending on your choice of florist. Adaptation=AMAZING. I live out of town and wanted to send flowers to dear friends (one of them an interior designer) who recently moved to Atlanta and were hosting a college graduation party for my daughter and her best friend. After searching reviews using every sort I could think of, I decided on Adaptation. About 20 seconds into my phone call, I knew Adaptation was a great choice. They asked just the right questions to hone in on my vision, offered up some astute suggestions, and then it was done. The flowers arrived on time, in perfect condition, were just as described on the phone and my friends loved them! If anyone ever offers you "Coral Peonies", just say YES! And....if you're reading this in search of just the right florist, stop reading and call Adaptation now. read more

We hired Adaptation Floral Design for my wedding after our initial conversation with Kali; we actually had a few more appointments with other florists, but after being stood up by one, decided to give up looking because we were SO happy with our first experience. Kali was wonderful to work with--totally understood my vision and was able to match that in reality. I was amazed at the high quality of the flowers provided during my wedding--each flower was fresh, perfectly opened, beautiful colors, etc.. Day of, I only saw Kali and Liz for a few moments while they were setting up, but it was great to see their smiling faces and I trusted that I was in great hands. Liz and her team at Adaptation are absolutely incredible. She was the florist for our wedding and gave us exactly what we wanted and worked with our budget. We call Adaptation now for every occasion that warrants an arrangement, which is something we've never done before. Gone are the days of grocery store bouquets. I am always in awe of her flawless and elegant arrangements and her ability to accommodate our requests. read more

We had a fantastic experience working with Liz on the flowers for my wedding. She was bubbly and kept it real. I showed her about 10 pictures on pinterest and she was able to very accurately extrapolate my tastes from that (I didn't know the name of hardly any flowers when we started planning so all I could do was show her pictures.) I was never worried that the flowers wouldn't be perfect, and on the day-of they were! Everything was absolutely beautiful and exactly as I had imagined. She even let us incorporate some manzanita branches my mom bought into the wedding arch and our own wine corks into the centerpieces. I couldn't have asked for more and would definitely recommend her/Adaptation to anyone looking for a wedding or regular florist. read more

Adaptation did a great job with flowers for my wedding. It was a very small order in comparison to most weddings. But they still delivered timely, fresh, elegant arrangements. The florist had great suggestions for me, very creative ideas, and laid out a number of great options for me to meet all of my many needs. She worked with me on styling, types of flowers and their lifespan, costs, and even worked around my bad pollen allergies. My only complaint was that initially it took a long time to get a quote - it was nearly two weeks from the day we met to the time I got the quote email. However, from that point on, it was smooth sailing with quick replies and very good proactive communication overall. read more

No need to look further! You have found your florist. :) My mother and I found Adaptation on a whim, and walked in an hour before closing and asked if anyone could talk to us. Kali (the sweetest person alive) sat down with us for nearly two hours and planned out our entire wedding. She completely got the vision in my head and had some incredible ideas. Her knowledge of flowers, and what would be available in the month of our wedding, and what would work well was amazing. In the months leading up to the big day, we were in contact with her frequently as different elements changed here and there and we had to make some floral changes and she was incredibly patient and willing to work with us. I trusted her completely, and told her that this was her art, so once we had colors and a theme, she just went for it, and what we got were the most gorgeous arrangements I have ever seen. Our ceremony and reception flowers were absolutely stunning! Adaption is a dream to work with and will make your day extraordinarily beautiful! read more

My anniversary was June 14th. I have since moved to New Orleans and the thing that got me the most nervous, no kidding, as the fact that I now didn't know what I was going to do for flowers for my wife. Adaptation creates magnificent art with their flowers. Now I had to settle for some second rate florist in New Orleans that was stuck in the 80's. read more

Beautiful designs and lovely staff. They were super easy to work with, responsive to design request and so grateful they do Saturday delivery. I love their unique arrangements - they have personality & whimsy & beauty. read more

Liz is a floral genius. She did the flowers for my big gay wedding and rocked it. We had minimal flowers (as we are two boys) but Liz got creative with succlents and such! When I met with her she was easy to talk with and full of ideas. I was not originally intending on having any arrangements. Liz was so creative and budget conscience I went for it. She also provided some bouqets and boutineers from more inspired and creative flowers/materials. You can tell she knows what she's doing and loves it! ps- not to mention walking into the store is magical! read more

Go here! It's awesome. I came here for some flowers after I found out my wife was pregnant for our first child. It was my first time in the shop. Anyhow, I relayed the excitement to the shop owner who whipped up a beautiful arrangement for the occasion with what she had on the spot. I didn't know what was appropriate, so I just let her build it with some of my wife's general tastes in mind. I don't remember all the names of what was finally in it, but my wife said it was the most gorgeous flowers I'd ever brought her. And I had been buying her flowers for more than 10 years at that point. This is my go-to place for special occasion flowers now, and I have never been disappointed. Guys, if you want to impress your lady, this is the place. You not only walk out with flowers, but also a work of art! Service is friendly, knowledgeable and best of all, very intuitive for us clueless dudes. read more

The Owners are extremely rude. After we visited the store (and they closed up for the day), the Owner called and had our car TOWED. I would avoid this store at all costs - this is not the type of shop with whom you want to do business or buy overpriced flowers. read more

Liz is very nice and is quite creative. She seems to have a particular eye for succulents if that's your thing. She was able to accommodate us fairly quickly for a consultation appointment about our wedding. However, it's been four weeks and we still don't have a quote from her. Needless to say we've gone with another florist as they often book quickly. I'd also be concerned that she'd be too busy to give a client her full attention even once you were a client. read more

I worked with Kali from Adaptation Floral Design. She was amazing throughout the entire process! My mom and I first met with her and I showed her photos of my vision. She took detailed notes and replicated exactly what I wanted! She was organized, easy to work with, and responsive anytime I had any questions. The day of the wedding was seamless. The bridal bouquet arrived at my parents house and the other bouquets and boutonnières arrived at the church on time. The reception hall looked absolutely beautiful and they even work with a nursing home in Decatur to donate any leftover florals! Such a great business!! I would highly recommend! read more

I was referred to Adaptaion floral design by multiple people and I couldn't be happier that I chose Liz to be the floral vendor at my wedding! I didn't have a huge budget to spend on flowers but Liz helped me pick things that weren't too expensive but still looked absolutely fantastic! We had so many compliments on everything:) Also, I have never seen such beautiful bouquets as I did for my bridesmaids and I. Thank you so much . I will definitely send anyone I can here. read more

Adaptation is outstanding. Easily the choice in central Atlanta. Even when florists do a good job, the work can be mostly generic and uninspired. While being sufficiently pricey! This is never true at Adaptation. Their work is singular, beautiful, and consistently so. If it's important enough that you're sending flowers, then it's important enough to ensure something special --- and that means calling Adaptation. Their service is also above the usual. Friendly and responsive, certainly, but also especially reliable. I recently called in an order from the West Coast; caught them late in the day in Atlanta; and nonetheless they got the arrangement out the same day. When my recipient wasn't at home, they contacted me, but more than that, without my asking, they stayed on it for the next several days and ended up delivering a fresh arrangement the following Tuesday! This was a sympathy arrangement for a longtime friend, so the brilliant work from start to finish meant a great deal. It's been years since I bothered calling any other Atlanta florist. Spend your money well; get something truly special; call Adaptation. read more

Liz is awesome!!! I have no clue how she pulled it off - but our wedding was absolutely perfect. I gave her so little direction - I was one of those clueless brides that was like a deer in headlights the entire time. She was flexible and worked with me on our budget and brought so many fun, unique, creative ideas to the table. She got to know me and my style and our wedding truly reflected who we were. Even my husband told me how impressed he was with all of the little details that he didn't even know would be included in the decor! She never once pressured me into a decision, she worked her tail off to get everything set up the day of, and on top of everything she is such a great person to work with - fun and personable. I highly recommend Liz, you won't be sorry if you want something fun and creative!! read more

I learned about Adaptation from a website called thegreenhalf and I bought the coupon. My mother had a car wreck and it was also Valentine's weekend, so I thought flowers would cheer her up. This was not the typical bouquet. The flowers were so beautiful that I am considering trying to find someone to date just so that I can get married and have Adaptation do all the flowers! Joking aside, this was one of the most beautiful flower arrangements I've ever seen. My mother loved it and has been raving about it. Just to give you an idea: there were 5 light green roses (which I have never seen before, but they're so beautiful), orange freesia, purple hyacinth, fushia colored gerber daisies, and then sprigs of flowers of which I don't even know the names! It was so unique and I'm definitely going to make up an excuse to buy myself some flowers--and then I won't even have to date or get married! read more

Couldn't have been happier with the flowers that Liz put together for both my wedding and rehearsal dinner. I know pretty much nothing about flowers and could only partly put into words what I wanted for my wedding day. Liz did a great job of listening and helping me with ideas, all the while keeping my budget in mind. I even had a few changes toward the end that were probably annoying for her to deal with, but she remained cool about everything and just rolled with it. Very thankful for that. Not to mention that everything she did was on point - the centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony decor. It was all beautiful. My husband now knows that if he is to ever get me flowers in the future, he should go see Liz. read more

Liz does an amazing job. She really gets to know the customer, their event and selects the best quality flowers for your occasion. People have to remember that most of these stores are loft style apartments and this is a residential area. Most people close up "early" because they may live in the area and not have anymore customers coming by. It is privately owned, so this shop can really close up whenever they want. The person who owns the store next door isn't open on Monday or Tuesday. It's their prerogative to open and close as they see fit. Also keep in mind that parking is very limited. There was probably a good reason why your car was towed. The whole Inman Park area is a cluster when it comes to parking. That's why most parking lots in the area are pay for parking. Just remember, it's a RESIDENTIAL area. Parking is limited everywhere! Adaptation does have a Facebook page with tons of pictures! They aren't going to lay their prices out anywhere because everything is custom made. I've been working with Liz for a very long time and she is by far the most knowledgeable and professional person I have ever worked with. She "gets" it. She's not your typical old school florist either, she's very modern but sophisticated. Try it again. You may have just stumbled in on a bad day. read more
