Tulip provided the flowers for my wedding on 8/30/14. Working with Heather was an absolute pleasure. We live out of town, so planning our wedding from afar was challenging. Heather was flexible to have phone conferences with us later in the day and on weekends to accomodate our work schedules. She also took the time to meet us at her shop one weekend when we were in town. She really went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. She made us feel very confident that our flowers and decorations were going to be perfect, and she was right! We wanted to use antique metal and morrocan style lanterns in our decor, specifically for aisle decorations and table centerpieces. Heather had a large and varied collection of lanterns that were perfect, and she even ordered new ones that we had found on our own and loved. We were pleased with every vase, container, candle holder, and of course lantern that Heather included in the design. She really understood our vision and brought it to life. Now to the flowers: they were absolutely gorgeous, and exactly what we had dreamed of! Everything was just perfect, and honestly even better than we had envisioned. From our bouquets, to corsages and boutonnieres, to aisle decor, to table centerpieces, to large ceremony arrangements - everything was just beautiful. It is rare that one can say something was perfect, but Tulip's creations were absolutely that - perfect. I almost forgot the flowers for our wedding cake - also gorgeous and perfect! I had a great experience with Heather and the team at Tulip. I found them by way of another wedding my photographer had posted on her blog and figured that they had to be worth checking out because the photographer did not list ever vendor for every wedding she does. Heather was accommodating in fitting in an appointment for me, my fiancé and my mother at the last minute while my mother was in town for a few days to do wedding-related shopping. She listened to what my vision for the flowers for my wedding was and immediately had great ideas to share. Due to some family illness, we had to make some changes to the personal flowers and number of table displays really close to the wedding date, but Heather was great about making that happen for us without overcharging. The real reviews came from the guests, who were all blown away by how gorgeous all of the flowers were on the day of the wedding, both the personals and the table displays at the reception. I had opted to not do a lot of extra decoration, which was not needed because the flowers were truly the star of the decor. Side note: when I told the catering manager at the hotel which florist we were using, she was impressed and told us that Tulip is where her husband gets her flowers. If a woman who sees dozens of weddings a year thought Tulip was a good choice, I knew I had picked a winner. read more

The work they do speaks for themselves. It's absolutely stunning. After seeing their beautiful work all over Atlanta, I knew when I got married that I would want to meet with the brilliant minds behind Tulip. I emailed them through the website and Heather got back to be the same day which was impressive. This level of professionalism and customer service was apparent throughout my whole experience with them. 95% of my life I'm on time, however my meeting with Heather was on an off day and we were late. She was amazingly cool about it, when roles reserved I would not have been. Even though she had an appointment in 30 minutes, she still saw us and was incredible. She went through all the different types of arrangements she could do, took detailed notes and was really kind. She's creative, down to earth and really approached the whole thing with an open mind. With a winter wedding, the task of blooms could be daunting and she took it on with a open minded attitude which is the exact opposite of what i've experienced with other florists. She had me send her my pinterest board and wanted to come up with a custom quote from there. I was really impressed with that level of dedication, especially without signing a contract. The ONLY reason I didn't book this incredible studio was that they have a 3,000 minimum and with my wedding being in the winter and not that big it just didn't make sense to spend that much on flowers, but trust me if I had that kind of budget, these ladies would without question get my business!! read more

I showed her my Pinterest board and gave her a general idea of what we wanted, and she was able to fill in the gaps! THE BEST! Eva at Tulip is AMAZING! She created an elegant and stunning backdrop for our daughter's wedding. In addition to breathtaking floral design, she coordinated the rental of gorgeous drapes, table linens and even an outdoor living room furniture during the pandemic. Horrible vendor. Use them for our wedding... they decided THE day of our wedding to not tell us we were not going to receive the grandmother corsages as well as they were not going to use the items we bought for them to decorate the alter with. So we had a plain alter, ugly, and never received items we paid for. They sent an email afterwards stating they did not feel they needed to comply with the contract since our budget had been smaller. Amazing! They made my dream wedding a reality. Eva is the best, she has great ideas, honest and a pleasure to work with. The one thing that made them stand out from all the other florists is that our first meeting was at their studio and she showed me all the vases, candle holder, lighting options etc. it was a very visual meeting which I really appreciated. I planned my wedding in just seven weeks. While some vendors were freaked out at such a tight timeframe, Heather at Tulip rolled up her sleeves and jumped right in! She was quick to respond, always pleasant, and super helpful in choosing the flowers that would work best for our theme, venue and budget. For my winter wedding, she incorporated cool wintry tones with lush greenery and metallic branches -- we had SO many compliments on the florals! The "day of" service was SUPERB -- they handled everything from set up to breakdown, delivered our bridal party blooms personally -- I never had to worry about a thing. We recently worked with the Blooming Creations team for our wedding and they did an incredible job. I had a very specific design I was trying to create for our nuptials and they did an amazing executing against and doing even more. They were a pleasure to work with, professional and efficient, and helpful when it came time to sticking to a budget. It is important to note that we planned our wedding in Atlanta while we live in Brooklyn, NY and they made it all very easy. We had many compliments on our flowers and additional accents. I was really unhappy to see an alter decorated with just fabric... I had given you a box of pearl strands and blue gem hearts which were nowhere to be seen. I also had discussed the bridesmaids jars were to have single large roses open inside and there were three little ones in each. There was no toss bouquet like I was told there would be and I couldn't throw the bouquet given to me due to the extremely heavyweight of it. We had to throw a boutinere instead which was very embarrassing. We were really disappointed that the stems in my bouquet were already wilting by the time I walked down the aisle... I was really disappointed after reading the positive reviews online. I can not believe we paid so much money for a bare altar and prior to this event I had recommended Tulips to a fellow bride... After seeing the wedding as she was in attendance, She told me she would rather find someone else. We are very unhappy with the look and detail as you did not follow through with our discussion and contract. I will not be writing any positive reviews. They came back and said they did not feel that after cutting out parts of the decor before the event that I deserved a toss bouquet... thanks for letting us know... not. She also came back to say she decided design wise for the changes... even though she agreed to the original contract. There was a REASON I wanted a single rose in each jar. Thanks for not listening... at all. And that they went to set up the altar at the event and found they didn't feel there was enough supplied to decorate the alter... in other words they waited until the last moment to figure out how to decorate the alter AND they were incredibly lazy... WHAT A RIP OFF. Do not use! Over $300 for some wood with fabric thrown over it. Totally ugly. DO NOT USE DO NOT USE DO NOT USE!!! HORRIBLE VENDOR! read more
