Very reminiscent of a Cici's Pizza. Perhaps it took over the space! Like a Cici's, they also have a salad bar, marinara pasta (with and without meat), soup of the day, and many kinds of pizza including savory & sweet. They also take orders of ones not available on the floor (like Cici's). There are pizza flavors I haven't seen before at other pizza buffets though - Mac n' cheese and buffalo chicken for example. I was super excited to try this place because it has pretty good reviews... unfortunately it was on the same level as cicis pizza. It was extremely busy but a pretty good price and they kept the pizzas coming. The pizzas tasted low quality and the place was a bit dirty. I may go back but it would not be a go to place. read more

Average pizza buffet - nothing fantastic only reason I gave 3 stars is because they have Coca-Cola and served from regular fountain instead of those dirty / terrible tasting touch screen fountains that serve multiple flavor coke - pepperoni pizza was just ok - they had a pizza pocket style pizza (had potential to be really good but was disappointing - fill with pepperoni and sausage and cheese but little or no toppings on inside - got regular size pizza slice and on inside light cheese with 1 piece of pepperoni and 2 little pieces of sausage - won't be back - been whole since had pizza buffet but I believe CiCi's is better choice read more

What CiCi's Pizza should be like. The owners are great, the restaurant is CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN. The pizza is not mellow mushroom gourmet pizza by no means, but it's just good, and the owners know how to keep the pizza fresh, they don't put out a ton just to become a smoldering mess under a hot lamp. 14 members of my family decided to check this pizza out tonight. Initially, I was concerned about the selection and quantity. We did show up about 30-45 minutes before we said we would (thanks to avoiding stormy weather), so they didn't have much on the pizza bar. However, they worked their tails off to get pizza out. They were willing to make what the customers wanted, kept everything stocked as possible, and maintained a very busy dining room. I was very impressed with the flavor of their pizza and their marinara. It was awesome. As pathetic as it may sound, I also appreciated that they had styrofoam cups. My only wish is that they would add shredded cheese to the salad bar. I'm looking forward to visiting again- soon! read more

My family came here at 2pm on a Thursday. It wasn't very busy. Price is really good, food is even better. Service is excellent also! We tried this place as an alternate to Cici's pizza. We won't be going back to Cici's. This place has them beat. Their calzone is awesome! read more

How do you screw up a pizza buffet? In fairness, we were there on a Sunday for lunch. The small salad bar was OK at best. The pizza was old, crusting over, probably because no one was there and why make new pizzas when no one is there to eat it? Pizza sauce was not good, and the spaghetti noodles had been obviously sitting in the little bit of water placed in the soup container which held the pasta for hours, was complete mush, and horrible. When the waitress asked me how everything was at the end of our meal, I asked, "Really? Do you really want to know?" I went on to tell her it was certainly not her fault, but the meal was one of the top five worst I have ever had in this entire area. Frankly, that was a kind statement. Honestly, I wanted to love this place. I'm not a hater reviewer (check out my other reviews), but this place was bad. It's so bad that when I read the other positive reviews I'm wondering if it is not the owner and/or owners' friends and family writing the reviews. If the management reached out to us and asked us to give it another try, we would, because this is a bad review and I hate to post bad reviews and like to support home-town businesses. But I guarantee you if changes are not made, this place will be going away relatively soon. read more

My family and I were coming back home to the Birmingham area from spending a day at the NASA space center. It was my 10 years old son birthday and he loves pizza. On the way back home we started looking for pizza places to eat. As we were traveling my wife found this place on google maps and read the reviews. We decided to take the chance and stop. It just gotten dark in the evening and as we drove up to the store the little strip mall seemed abandoned. But the lights were on in the pizza restaurant. We looked inside and there were one other family. So we went in and I might say it was a gem of a place. The cashier was very friendly and told us if we didn't find a pizza we liked on the buffet they would make it special. It was sort of like a CiCis. But a lot better. The pizza sauce was just right. And every pizza slice we ate was great. The cheese bread was fantastic. The owner? came out and asked us if we needed anything and we were already stuffed with yummy pizza and pizza desserts. The staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. It has TVs and there were arcade games. The price for 2 adults and 2 kids was under $40. Very nice place. read more

This restaurant is just like cicis, except they don't have trays to put your food on. Which is quite difficult to hold a cup, 2 plates, etc while going through the "buffet" ... The pizza is thin, and not very tasteful, nor do they have more than 3 or 4 options very often. Nice to have another "restaurant" in Good Hope, but we only eat here as a last option. read more
