Cujo's is a resturant that will always serve you fresh, perfectly seasoned meals in a pizzeria type setting. They have many Italian options on their menu, I'm pretty sure their sauce doesn't come from a can. It resembles the kind your Grandmother would cook while filling it with love & fresh ingredients, full of flavor but not overpowering by any means. You can dine in with a family atmosphere, they gladly welcome kiddos. with the kiddos. Offering a kids section on their menu for those picky little eaters helps parent's out. The casual pizzeria atmosphere still has a few gumball machines, if I'm not mistaken even a couple of arcade games to enjoy. A home system gaming system has nothing on a vintage arcade machine. So bring those quarters for a quick game. If you are late picking up your order or need to add something they are understanding and polite . If I'm not mistaken this is a "women owned establishment". You will always be greeted with a smile. Nothing is worse than hearing workers moaning and groaning, discussing between each otherbut also outloud their schedule and the famous clock countdown to make you feel ill at ease does NOT happen here. I say that because you can't go into a store or restaurant anymore without hearing these repeated discussions between employees. A MAJOR + in my book is the cleanliness of the workers and resturant inside & out. As the old saying goes you could "Almost eat off of their floor." In all it is a small, locally owned business that takes pride in serving their New York Style Pizza, Spaghetti(with or without meat), Ham and BBQ Hoagies to name a gew. I would give 5 stars, & I understand inflation but you will find multiple price's online that are never up to date. A little bit of a bummer if you like to plan in advance and stay on a budget. I understand inflation, it is rough for resturants. It would just be nice to know ahead of time an item's updated price. Online I noticed multiple different outdated menu's. Food is awful, I got a super sub, it was chopped up ham and a slice of bologna you could see thru. It looked like they scraped food off someone else's plate and made a sandwich with it on a hot dog roll. They said a Stromboli was a hamburger steak with brown gravy? This is a first for me. The food is decent BUT the pizza used to be SO much better. I'm not writing this review to be rude or make anyone mad I actually just hope the owners see it and consider making a few changes. I have been a Cujo's customer since high school in the 90's when my cousin worked there after school each day. I always loved the way the pizza was made. It was better than any chain store pizza around. The crust had a unique and delicious taste and the mozzarella cheese was always piled on thick no matter what other toppings you got. Cujo's was known by everyone to be the place with super yummy thick melted mozzarella on top of their pizzas. Over the years I would frequently drive 20 minutes from my home and skip over every other pizza place that was closer just to get pizza from Cujo's. However, the way they used to make pizza has changed and not in a good way. The crust tastes different, the toppings are of lower quality now, and you don't get much of each topping and there is MUCH less mozzarella cheese on top now. The first couple of times I got the changed pizza I thought maybe they just had a new employee who didn't know how to make it correctly. But sadly that wasn't the case. I asked them to remake the pizza for me one time because it just wasn't what I was used to from them but the remade one came out exactly the same as the first one. After that I was really bummed and stopped getting pizza there. Since then I've heard others say the same thing about the pizza and that they no longer get pizza there so I know it's not just me. OWNERS! If you see this can you please go back to the original way of making Cujo's pizza!!?? I know you would get a lot of your old customers back if you did. If the change was due to budget then I had an idea. You have added several menu items over the years. Maybe you could re-evaluate which menu items you sell the most/least of and do away with the ones sold least. This way you can put the money saved from ingredients you don't have to buy anymore toward making quality delicious pizza, like it used to be made at Cujo's. A pizza place should have GREAT pizza which results in great sales. I mean, you can have great pizza and sell a whole lot of it or have not so great pizza along with a ton of random menu items that you only sell a few each of. A more focused menu also means more focused staff since they wouldn't have to jump from making pizza to making a burger, to a barbecue sandwich, a sub sandwich, a salad or spaghetti and so on. Cujo's Pizza is a pizza place which has been a part of the Curry community for over 20 years and is one of the very few places to eat in Curry. You have tons of potential customers just in the Curry/Smith Lake area if you just make a few changes. read more

This place is a part of my childhood. I regretfully grew up in Curry, Alabama. There isn't much to do, and it kind of sucks. My mom and I would come to Cujo's all the time to get away from our house. The man who ran the establishment at the time was a really nice guy. He knew my mom and I from our frequent visits. Also, it's kind of hard NOT to know someone in Curry. The pizza is wonderful. It tastes like classic instead of take-out. My favorite was the personal pizzas. If you're looking for a place to chill and have a nice slice, go to Cujo's.
