Yesterday, after driving for the first time for a few hours the day prior, my neck and upper back between my shoulder blades was in massive pain. I called my regular chiropractor, but unfortunately they were both closed and I was out of visits approved by the VA. I called this practice needing fairly urgent help, which I got. Despite my not having been to this practice in a handful of years, the quality and expertise remains the same. The adjustment I was provided yesterday was totally without a doubt the best adjustment I've ever had in my entire life, and I've been to a lot of different chiropractors in two different states. I feel so much better today than I did yesterday. It was an adjustment so lovely and enjoyable, I almost needed a cigarette afterwards (joking) while I enjoyed the instant relief from most of what was ailing me at that moment, immensely satisfying! I would give this practice six or even 10 stars if it was possible. They are so good, that, in addition to my other approved visits at a different location I am going to happily pay out of pocket for more future visits from this practice. I hope he stays in the business for many years to come, he is a gift to all who needs chiropractic care, a true miracle worker for this disabled combat veteran. Very professional and friendly, absolutely no regrets here!

I found Dr. Lathrop through a friend, who gave him a glowing review. It was my first visit to a…read morechiropractor, so I was a little skeptical, but I'd been experiencing nagging lower back pain from sitting at my desk all day and couldn't find a way to stretch it out. After two visits with minimal adjustments and some stretching the pain is gone, and it hasn't come back since (it's been at least three months). What I appreciate about Dr. Lathrop is that he takes his time, doesn't over-prescribe adjustments, and doesn't up-sell to get you to come back for services you don't need. On my first visit he spent an hour asking about my health and habits, watching the way I walk and sit, and feeling my back. Then he stretched my lower back and showed me stretches I could do for self care. The second visit was a follow up. He made one more adjustment and sent me on my way. His goal is to provide you with the tools to keep yourself healthy on your own (if possible), not to get you on a rotating plan of unnecessary visits to make a buck. Finally, he's very aware of your personal space and always asks to to make adjustments, explaining as he goes. I'm not too anxious about that stuff, but it was certainly appreciated. I always felt comfortable in his office. As someone who was nervous about taking that first step in chiropractic medicine, I can highly recommend Dr. Lathrop!

Next appointment was Christmas Eve at 12:30, the receptionist said this was during his lunch but it would be alright. I was waiting to see the doctor he came out looked at the appointment book, then looked at his receptionist, then looked at me. He looked annoyed and called me back. Did a couple of movement tests then said I should go see a doctor. Really got the impression he was inconvenienced and wanted to go to lunch. Then I get a bill from them for $46.80 for basically nothing. He did do some massage of the shoulder the first visit. The doctor appointment was a month out, it was a long month. My well being did not seem to be the top of his list that day. If it was an inconvenience we could have rescheduled that would have been fine.

Like most, I HATE going to the doctor when I don't have to, especially because normally they just tell you to pound some aspirin and don't drink too much wine or whatever. Preferring to skip that, I decided to call South Sound instead. They were able to get me in first thing on a Monday and get me evaluated. Suzi was absolutely amazing and assured me that my neck would return to normal function and still loved me and wanted me back in a nice long committed relationship. She got me a list of exercises and had a bunch of great tips on working (ie, don't sit in front of a PC 15 hours a day and wonder why you are in pain, duh!) and I was in and out in 30 minutes. I very much appreciated how clean everything was, and they were great about making sure I sanitized and kept my germs safely to myself (and vice versa). All in all a great experience, and I'd highly recommend!

They told me I had bulging discs in my neck. I was prescribed an anti-inflammatory and advised to follow up with another provider, but I didn't get much relief. As a busy mom to a teen and a toddler, working full-time and going to school, I really need restful sleep to function and keep up with everything. I saw an ad for Oly Family Chiropractic and decided to give it a try. Scheduling was incredibly easy, and I was honestly impressed by how quickly they identified what was going on after doing X-rays and a nerve test. I took a leap of faith, and now on my 9th visit, I've had noticeable improvement especially with the numbness/tingling and my neck pain. Little by little, I'm finally sleeping better and not waking up from pain and nerve symptoms. I've seen other chiropractors before, but Dr. Anthony's approach feels very different more focused on nerves and underlying causes than what I've experienced in the past. They walk you through your treatment plan unique for you. Their process is also very convenient: after the initial visit, you can schedule through their app, check in by scanning your barcode, and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming.
