I have been seeing Dr Kirk Hansen for several years now. His attitudes towards Chiropractic services are totally different form other chiropractor I have experience. I had been seeing another locale Chiropractor through the VA in Lacey WA. On my last visit the VA was paying for, my primary and another Chiropractor came in the room the primary said he wanted the other Chiropractor to do my adjustment (a different style). I never had that type of adjustment before and he hurt me. The next day I could not stand, I hurt so bad. Once I was able to drive I went to this Chiropractor explained to the staff what was wrong. They wanted me to pay $100.00 up front (never paid more then $50 at other places). I got upset, the Chiropractor asked what was wrong, I explained and told him that the other Chiropractor hurt me bad. He got me right in (did not help). Wanted me to come back 2 times a week (at 100.00+ a visit). Checked other Chiropractor in the area. Dr Hansen Office got me an with in a few days. I explained what had happened at the other office. After an exam Dr Hansen made adjustments I was 80% better. After the 2nd visit I was at 100% better. After the 3rd visit I was told call and make an appointment if needed. Not every week. I have been seeing Dr. Hansen for over a year. I look forward to every appointment because he corrects my neck and back pain. After 26 years in the Army I received 10% VA disability for my neck but due to his diagnoses I am up to 70%, which is nice, but more importantly after a session with him I can turn my neck 90 degrees without pain rather than 15 degrees. Crucial when driving!!! Herniated discs in my lower back cause pain when sitting and laying but after an appointment I sleep and sit without discomfort for about 10 days.
