I had been having knee issues, then developed nerve issues in my feet which made walking painful, I could no longer walk barefoot (podiatrist also advised against), thought I might not be able to hike anymore, and could only wear two pairs of sad looking shoes, including a pair of "house sneakers." I recently got a pregnancy massage here from the incredible Christina, and it was absolutely incredible!! I was 27 weeks pregnant so laying on my stomach was going to be a challenge but she had a massage table to accommodate pregnant women and it was very comfortable. On top of that, Christina was so personable and made me feel so comfortable right away. As for the massage, it was by far the best massage I've ever received. I've had multiple massages in the past, but the techniques she used and the pressure she used was absolutely perfect for me. The office had me fill out a form prior indicating my preferences during the massage, and Christina took all of them into account. I would HIGHLY recommend this office and this massage therapist for anyone looking for the best massage of their life. Dr. Kallie is a pleasure to be around and provides quality care in the moment and gives recommendations for lasting results. I discovered him after receiving horrible care from another chiropractor in the area that couldn't fix my knee pain after 4 years of biweekly treatment. As a newbie to Oly I had to find a Chiro and Moore Chiropractic came highly recommended. I made an appt. with Dr. Kallie and was hooked. I had been to a variety of Chiropractors before but never one that used their techniques. I was warned that I wouldn't hear a lot of cracking and I was relieved but curious on how this would work. I didn't mind my back cracking but I was always tense and leary of cracking my neck. Dr. Kallie was professional and took the time to understand my needs and previous treatments. Then she adjusted me without physically cracking my neck :-) and prescribed a treatment plan without over prescribing follow up visits. I believe in their approach and they have helped me feel my best. I have also had a massage at Moore and I really enjoyed her style. First the room was similar to other massage therapists, but with out the spa like music. She actually played music I like and listen too! She had a great flow and was able to apply pressure where I asked her to work my muscle and I was impressed. Another thing which I feel is important in a great massage therapist are well manicured hands, which may sound odd, but I do not like to have a massage by someone with rough hands or jagged fingernails. Perfect first time experience. Dr. Moore is a great resource for medical knowledge and an asset to the practice. Dr. Scott fixed issues I have been having for a number of years - things I didn't think chiropractic could fix, to be perfectly honest here. I was starting to feel the beginning of what I thought was sciatic pain and numbness. Now I can happily say I no longer take daily pain meds, and have been able to increase my exercise from walking a mile to light jogging over 2 miles with almost no pain at all. I didn't expect him to have such an impact on my sleep quality, or fix the pain I had been having for over 15 years in my shoulder, but he did, and I couldn't be happier. I also have had massages at their place, and I love their staff - all are very friendly, helpful, and just amazing at their jobs! I've been seeing Scott and Kallie for years now. I had never been to a chiropractor before and was terrified of being turned into a human pretzel and then snapped in half - scott and kallie don't operate like that here. When they get you on the table, they don't twist or move you at odd angles - they adjust your spine methodically and carefully without the acrobatics. My first appointment (2014 or 2015?), I remember laying on the table and thinking, "did this really do anything?" I answered my own question as I stood up. Heck yes it did! I felt taller and the pain in my sciatic was barely noticeable. Through their care plan of x-amount of chiro & massage appointments each week, we were able to reverse the constant aches and pains. It took work on my end as well of recommended stretches, exercises, and posture checks to help the process along. They've been with me through the good times and through the bad and continue to exceed my expectations each time I walk through their doors. Also. Did I mention how personable they are? They met me when I was going through my "Quarter Life Crisis". From an accountant with a plan, decent salary, retirement plan, and benefit package to a broken 25 year old who decided to leap into the unknown to find her purpose. Yep. I was probably deemed the roller coaster or possibly the "Emily show". It was always something different. There would sometimes be long stretches of time between appointment and each time I walked through their doors, Scott and Kallie (along with staff members) remembered and cared enough to ask me how [insert personal thing here]. They sincerely care. Now, there were times I had been late for appointments... anywhere between 3-45 minutes late. Or! I would have to last minute cancel. Due to their policies, I'd have to pay my missed appointment fee. Totally understandable and my bad! I've gotten A LOT better about showing up to my appointments on time and triple checking my hectic schedule to make sure I was being realistic about the appointment I did make. Let me reiterate; Scott and Kallie are gracious people. That's what makes them so awesome... they're people too. There had been times where they showed compassion toward my situation on why I was late and gave me grace. They know me well as a patient and as a person. Through the years I have been seeing them, we developed a natural comfortability. Because of that comfort level, they know when I'm full of crap on the reasons why I didn't make it to my appointment on time (on those days, it would be because of general laziness, starting a big project and not being able to stop, etc). They didn't cut me off or ban me as a patient when those days happened. Instead, we would come up with an action plan to not only get me the treatment I needed but would mull over the schedule to make sure I was being realistic about how I penciled them in. So. Dr. Scott Moore and masseuse Emily Wilson worked wonders, and I recommend their services highly. I've worked with both Scott and Emily the last three years on multiple occasions when pain emerged suddenly in the course of my work. Scott's gentle and conservative approach to chiropractic helped resolve pain in my neck and shoulder. He also tries to keep me out of the office with exercises to practice at home to strengthen my posture and muscles. I always feel better when I keep them up.
