I called my regular chiropractor, but unfortunately they were both closed and I was out of visits approved by the VA. I called this practice needing fairly urgent help, which I got. Despite my not having been to this practice in a handful of years, the quality and expertise remains the same. The adjustment I was provided yesterday was totally without a doubt the best adjustment I've ever had in my entire life, and I've been to a lot of different chiropractors in two different states. I feel so much better today than I did yesterday. It was an adjustment so lovely and enjoyable, I almost needed a cigarette afterwards (joking) while I enjoyed the instant relief from most of what was ailing me at that moment, immensely satisfying! I would give this practice six or even 10 stars if it was possible. They are so good, that, in addition to my other approved visits at a different location I am going to happily pay out of pocket for more future visits from this practice. I hope he stays in the business for many years to come, he is a gift to all who needs chiropractic care, a true miracle worker for this disabled combat veteran. Front desk staff has top of line customer service and we should take notes. Very nice massage chairs to sit in while you wait for your visit. You get 1-15 minute session before or after your visit but if nobody else is there, they don't mind you sitting on them a little longer.

I didn't think much when the doctor was talking to me but as soon as I laid on the chiropractor table I began to believe in Dr. "S" healing touch. Dr "S" had ZOOMED in to an area that hit me right in my brain and the pain began to subside. Like most chiropractors they'll pop your back... Dr "S" aimed and pin pointed areas in my back and along my spine that only an X-Ray can see. I've gone back a few times now and every single time my back pain began to ease up. I always look forward to going back and having my back aligned, adjusted and the swelling is begining to ease up. I have to also say that when I wake up in the mornings I don't have that morning headaches that I used to and I'm a lot more energetic than normal. The operatories are also new with a clean white interior design that give it both a modern look as well as the feel of sterility you want in a physician's office. Dr. Kim was very professional and answered my questions. For the pigmentation she recommended a laser procedure but acknowledged its shortcomings that the pigmentation would likely return due to sun exposure and my genetics. I appreciated her discussing the likelihood of recurrence considering the laser treatment was costly. They have a lot of skin products that were pushed towards the end of the appointment which I wasn't a fan of. Other than that, I felt the office did a good job of reviewing my options and everyone was pleasant and professional.

After two visits with minimal adjustments and some stretching the pain is gone, and it hasn't come back since (it's been at least three months). What I appreciate about Dr. Lathrop is that he takes his time, doesn't over-prescribe adjustments, and doesn't up-sell to get you to come back for services you don't need. On my first visit he spent an hour asking about my health and habits, watching the way I walk and sit, and feeling my back. Then he stretched my lower back and showed me stretches I could do for self care. The second visit was a follow up. He made one more adjustment and sent me on my way. His goal is to provide you with the tools to keep yourself healthy on your own (if possible), not to get you on a rotating plan of unnecessary visits to make a buck. Finally, he's very aware of your personal space and always asks to to make adjustments, explaining as he goes. I'm not too anxious about that stuff, but it was certainly appreciated. I always felt comfortable in his office. As someone who was nervous about taking that first step in chiropractic medicine, I can highly recommend Dr. Lathrop!
