The office reception staff are friendly, proficient and professional. The medical assistant is also professional, proficient and personable. The office is clean, spacious and nicely decorated. I appreciate the treatment I receive at their office and I have made my appointment for next year.

Avoid Arthritis Consultants ( AC)! Would give them zero stars if possible. The office staff is…read morerude. Be aware they will cancel your appointment if you have perfume or lotion on. It is in their compliance statement that you do not use these prior to coming to their office. The wrist bp cuff is inaccurate. Kept telling the girl checking me in that it is off to no avail. My care was less than adequate..... What AC doesn't t tell you is that the provider you're placed with is the ONLY PERSON you are allowed to see or talk to. Unfortunately I got placed with a PA. At first I questioned her, that if I felt I needed to see one of the doctors in the practice, was that possible? She said yes, and that she would be discussing my care with them as well. Wish I would have known that was NOT TRUE! 1 1/2 years later my symptoms are worse. More pain, more inflammation, and none of the meds she prescribed have helped. I've gotten serious side effects from them instead. I asked to talk to one of the doctors as my care was going no where. I've seen her every three months.... nothing helped. I got a phone call from their very rude office manager the day following my last visit that I was no longer their patient. Apparently, questioning your care is not allowed! Also at this practice you don't have the option to not take a medication they want to prescribe, as that was given as a reason for the termination of care. The med was methotrexate, it has known severe side effects and there are other safer meds available. The PA and doctor supposedly discussed my condition. The office had a new practice to refer me to. No thanks! I told them I would find my own provider, which I did, and they could send my records to them. Multiple people told me this was their experience at AC. I should have listened! Saved my money and time and gone somewhere else! DO NOT GO HERE! There are much better, caring Rheumatologists in the area. I was immediately seen at a new practice by a DOCTOR, no PAs at this practice! Don't let them convince you that a PA has the same training or expertise... they obviously DO NOT!! Wasted hundreds of dollars for nothing! Found out they drop people from AC regularly, if you have not been seen in a year or question medsir treatment prescribed! She is glad they dropped her as she is now being cared for by a new caring doctor in Reno. Go to Renown or Minden for Rheumatology care. You will be listened to and respected as a patient and be able to discuss options for your care with your doctor, not be TOLD what to do with your own body! The staff are also friendly and caring at the new practices.

Our experience on the medical-surgical floor was appalling. My family member was placed in an…read moreextremely cramped room with two elderly homeless patients from a shelter who were belligerent, fighting, screaming, and yelling at staff. One used a bedside commode only inches from her bed. The environment was chaotic, frightening, and completely lacking in privacy. After we requested a different room, she was left in a public family waiting room for more than three hours. Basic requests for water and assistance with painful, bloody IVs were repeatedly ignored. Nurse Camille was rude, confrontational, and dismissive of legitimate medical concerns. When we attempted to escalate those concerns, Charge Nurse Grace supported Camille rather than helping us obtain appropriate medical attention. Most disturbing, Grace repeatedly refused and physically blocked our attempts to speak with the House Supervisor. She told us, "He will not come down for this. He is going to follow my leadership." She also responded to our concerns with, "It is what it is." A charge nurse should help patients access the appropriate chain of command--not stand in the way of it. The lack of compassion, professionalism, privacy, and concern for patient safety on this medical-surgical floor was shocking.

I waited 8 months to see this enept doctor... as I pulled up to his door & saw he was affiliated…read morew/Reknown I had a pit in my stomach as I had done several AMS's(against medical advice...meaning they don't get paid)..I was scared...anyhow I followed thru & within 5 minutes of being in his chair he accused me of wanting disability(which is opposite of what I wanted)..he actually pointed his finger in my face & said (there is no such thing as auto-imminue(what I thought I had)..his specialty....it was so weird....& anyhow I left there feeling abused & bewildered as I thought as an R.A. he was gonna be the answer after many years of suffering...I actually turned him in to to medical board & that was a joke as they sent me letters to my claim for @ least a year & found he did nothing wrong...He said I was "CRAZY" & the crazy part is as he is NOT a pshychologist & has no RIGHT to diagnose the brain...I had C-Diff & that was my main issue after 76 rounds of antibitotics....SHAME ON YOU RENO MEDICAL BOARD FOR STICKING UP FOR THE GUYS YOU GOLF WITH....:-(((((

They send a bill and "recommend" that you pay using MyChart. It doesn't work for individuals with Safari. I have called a few times over the past year to complain and they state yes we have been told it doesn't work. They neither fix the issue or change recommended way of paying your bill. And of course they are not happy if you don't pay it. In addition the MyChart has NO area to leave a concern or way of contacting someone to mention an issue.
