However, he ultimately sent in the prescription for tamoxifen I had requested. I'm now starting treatment and hopeful it will help prevent further progression while I address the root cause. He listened to my concerns, reviewed my labs, and provided the medication once the additional testing was complete. Grateful for the help and relieved to finally have relief in sight without jumping straight to surgery. Thank you!

The doctor I have here is okay, but he's nothing like she is. I miss her terribly. Two things I didn't like: the wait to see her could be weeks, unless something was really wrong (I.e. not just a check up). Not her fault, she's popular. Second, some of her office staff were frustrating. One of the receptionists is kind of mean, and it was difficult to get message to the doctor if you spoke with certain people. 1/27/26 Annual appt…read more To go over lab work with my primary... He's really one of the best physicians I've had here in Reno. Intelligent- courteous and professional. Labs came back good- except my triglycerides were elevated..( my recent trip to Japan forced me to eat more rice and noodles ... lol).. Thank goodness I was the same weight as six months ago!.. My goal is to only see him once a year- but if I lower some of my numbers then he'll let me.. until the next visit in July.. He did give me some really good sources to help)..

I think the current additional fee is approximately $700. The benefit to me is that for every appointment, he spends approximately 20-30 minutes. Before I have gone in, he reviews his notes from our last appointment and makes sure everything is covered. I don't know if he is taking new patients now, but if he is, sign up. It is worth the additional expense.
