I said yes, immediately! The entire staff was so pleasant and made our stay such a nice experience during a most stressful time. The room was very comfortable and when we needed an even longer stay, the owner worked very hard to be sure we weren't displaced, as my husband who has some medical issues, wasn't disturbed. I called their number and got to speak with both of them and their warmth, and hospitality, was obvious. We stayed in one of the cabins and it had everything a hotel room would have. Actually more, as we had a small couch, and dining table to sit at besides normal hotel features. Top that off with a delicious breakfast that included, meat-cheese-veggie omelet, whole wheat toast, homemade YOGURT from a cow next door, with homemade jam. Homemade oat bread, and something else I can't remember. D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! I want to mention that we were asked for any dietary restrictions during our reservation phone call. I encourage you to spend a few minutes chatting with Betty and Al. These humble, unassuming, wonderful people have led very interesting lives. Having been college educated Artists, they chose the farm life and have been farming, painting, sketching, and doing pottery, their entire adult lives. The accommodations are average, but nothing less than you would expect from a Hampton Inn & Suites. I have stayed at nicer hotels, but the sole purpose for this 5 star review is the staff. The service is unmatched. The rooms are always clean. I rarely have issues. I have never once dealt with a difficult employee. The few times I've had small issues come up, they get resolved without any frustration. Specifically, Marcus is awesome. He always remembers me when I get there. He has caught and fixed issues with my reservation several times before I even noticed. When he sees that my corporate rate isn't added properly, he fixes it before I get a chance to bring it up. He truly goes above and beyond to ensure my stay is enjoyable. Every time. I forgot my wallet in my room one time and they found it and shipped it to me. I had quite a bit of cash in it and it was all there when I received it. Sounds simple, but these days it is worth noting that type of honesty and integrity. This location has set the bar so high for customer service that I get frustrated when I don't have the same experience elsewhere. Getting to engage with a team of employees that are able to consistently offer a great experience at every interaction is truly a privilege.

Then I was told they had no rooms available for me. They were able to pull up the confirmation email they had sent me, yet still insisted they had no room to honor the reservation. I was shocked and frustrated, especially since this was a major family event. To make things worse, the staff was completely unhelpful and unprofessional. Instead of trying to fix the situation, they told me to "find somewhere else to go or someone I could stay with." Because of this mess, I missed my brother's wedding rehearsal trying to find alternative accommodations. They failed to deliver on a confirmed booking and showed zero accountability. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone--especially if you're planning something important. They clearly don't care about their guests or honoring confirmed bookings.
