This is unacceptable and unsanitary, especially in a gym where members pay for access to a clean and properly maintained facility. At this point, my concern is not only about the restroom. It is also about the person responsible for managing this location. When a facility reaches this condition, it raises serious questions about whether regular inspections are being performed and whether cleanliness and basic maintenance are being taken seriously. Management is responsible for maintaining standards. Members should not have to complain or take pictures before basic sanitation issues are addressed. I am asking upper management to look into both the condition of this facility and how this location is being managed. I would appreciate a serious response explaining what corrective action will be taken, because this is not the level of service or cleanliness members should be receiving for their membership fees. Noho Gym has literally everything I need and use. It's super easy to make an appointment, but the biggest plus is the people are incredibly nice and supportive. It's a really great gym environment for anyone, from novice to experienced. The thing that made me personally most nervous was the appointment scheduling - as a freelancer, my schedule changes constantly and I sometimes have trouble sticking to a plan day of. But the staff has been nothing but wonderful and accommodating, making sure I can get to the gym whenever I need.

That said, one thing that has been really frustrating is the summer program where high school students can work out for free. I think it is a great idea in theory, getting kids active is a positive thing. The issue is how it is being managed. After typical work hours, when paying members come in to work out, a lot of these teens are occupying machines while filming TikToks or just hanging out, and staff does not step in at all. It ends up putting members in the uncomfortable position of having to say something ourselves, which should not be our responsibility. It would make a big difference if there were designated hours for the student program, for example earlier in the day, and then have them wrap up around 4pm so paying members can actually access the equipment during peak times. Again, I really like this gym, but this situation needs better management.

During an actual LA heatwave, the filtered water has been broken for DAYS. Because apparently hydration is now a luxury amenity. Nothing says "fitness" like sweating through a workout and then being told, "Sorry, the water machine is out of order." And the walls? Falling apart. Literally. Meanwhile, half the machines are covered in yellow caution tape like we're filming an episode of CSI: Gym Membership. I understand letting kids in during the summer is a nice thing, but I have to ask: at what cost to the regular gym-goers who are paying to work out in what increasingly feels like a low-budget municipal recreation center? At this point, I'm not sure if I'm here to get my steps in or participate in a live episode of Extreme Gym Makeover: Please Send Help. Almost $400 a month for a single floor gym? No thank you…read more I couldn't put my finger on it but something about this place just wouldn't allow me to relax. Something just felt very busy and crowded about the space. I never feel anxious working out .. and I gotta be honest I was expecting more. The gym floor just feels CRAMPED. All the cardio machines felt on top of each other. There's a mirror in the center of the floor by the dumbbells that doesn't look secure since it shakes when people drop weights or walk by .. what's that about? If you're someone that likes to do hiit or has your own routine where you just need a little section to exercise, they don't have that. There's people everywhere. There no turf or anything. There's a small stretching area next to the group exercise classroom if you're able to squeeze in and find a space. I do like that they offer theraguns for use in that stretching area. The locker room was probably the best part. Very cozy and very clean. Second best part was the yoga class I took, I enjoyed that. It's nice to have so many classes available, but I'm not one for group classes. Oh yeah, they DID have a versa climber which is rare to find in a gym these days. I appreciated that because I love that thing. Overall I was disappointed, it's just not for me. There's gotta be a better location.
