I originally chose to edit and take this part out of my original review, but after reading through the replies and noticing how some things are being framed, I think it's important to include the full context. The "high school drama" I referred to isn't about friendships or conversations outside the gym. It's about a coach directly telling me that during the last paid challenge, they knowingly manipulated the results because they didn't like who actually won. That's not just childish It's unethical. People paid to be part of that challenge and worked hard for those results. To change the outcome based on personal bias isn't just unfair, it damages trust. As for the conversation about community, I agree, building a community is hard. And when done right, it can be one of the most powerful parts of a gym. But community should never come at the expense of professionalism or fairness. There's a difference between genuine connection and favoritism, and unfortunately, the line hasn't always been clear. I also want to address the coaching style being described. I completely understand that bringing energy to a group class can be challenging, and when done well, it's inspiring. But there's a big difference between a coach jumping in for a few reps to hype the room and both coaches working out the entire class while new or less experienced members are visibly lost, doing movements incorrectly, and risking injury. That's not motivating, it's unsafe. A coach's job is to lead, correct, and ensure everyone is moving safely. And that should never be compromised for the sake of entertainment or content. And to be clear: I can't be the only one who has noticed these things. I've heard from multiple people who've shared similar concerns. And honestly, I remember not too long ago when classes were consistently sold out, with waitlists and the need to book days in advance. That's changed, and it says something. So while I understand some may want to frame this as a personal issue, it's clearly bigger than that. Maybe after 500 classes, your perspective shifts. Mine certainly did.

Hosted my birthday with my favorite trainers (Armando & Michael) at this f45 location! They exceed my expectations and hosted a fun workout class for my friends and family! Made sure everyone was having fun and all my guests enjoyed it !! Can't thank them enough for an amazing birthday celebration!

Love this gym!!! Coaches are always super motivating! Music is all the vibes and the workouts are awesome to start or end or day with! 10/10

Everyone minds there own business. You dont feel judged. When I say they have about almost everything you need im not joking. Their gym equipment is very modern to help build your gains. Additionally they have a physical therapist and about 30 trainers in total perhaps about 6 daily. They have a refrigerator to store your lunches in, a water cooler, private lockers and showers, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc. The only downside is you may feel crowded when you workout bc of all the variety of gym equipment but this gym is meant to keep a threshold and did i mention this gym is 24/7??? Take advantage if you're early bird. I struggled a bit with their equipment ngl, bc im still a newb to weight lifting and im not familiar with seeing equipments having an on/off switch to load/unload weights however, i thought it was cool. I really enjoyed their dumbells and im glad for the most part, everyone reracks them. Sadlly im a starving student so it doesnt fit my budget yet. hopefully it will in the near future. I wish them the best. this gym deserves a lot of recognition!

I explained that I didn't know much about CrossFit, but did know my way around free weights and equipment. I was thoroughly prepped on what to expect, and that I was encouraged to start slow and at my own pace. When I first arrived for class, all the clients were friendly and encouraging. Hard working, but not an overly athletic vibe. As a beginner I did not feel intimidated nor overwhelmed. The workouts are geared for RX/Expert level, but are easily scaled for each individual's skill and ability level. Ownership sets a standard of hygiene and requiring all members to wipe down and disinfect all used equipment as the classes take place live. There was minimal equipment, that is of the highest quality. I thought a gym would need all kinds of equipment? But we achieve all the Physical results with the equipment provided and the plethora of routines prescribed each day. Simple workouts, with instruction, supervision and concern for each client. Open Gym 1 also has personal training and open gym times 6 days weekly. Pricing was competitive with all gyms in the surrounding area. Gym 1 has changed my life. In the past year I've changed my body shape, gained substantial muscle mass, and I'm in the best shape I've been in the last 25 years. I'm in my mid 50's and owe a debt of gratitude to the staff and clients of Open Gym 1. Orale

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Since I booked through ClassPass, I just had to show my ID and sign in. It was very clean and the perfect temperature. The studio itself was fantastic and the aerial silks were placed just the right distance for us to swing. The teacher was amazing and was great at giving instruction and coming around to help us get into each pose and ensure we were doing them properly. The workouts are hard, but you can make them your own. If you don't want to run, you can power walk! You're in charge of your own treadmill. If you can't do an exercise on the weight floor, your coach can help you make adjustments and find something you can do. They're so accommodating. Plus, the studio itself is super clean (has a shower and lockers for your stuff!), and the staff is just the nicest. There are tons of class times available each day, and you can easily book via the app. Lots of fun activities and challenges you can take part in, too. I'm happy when I'm here, even when I'm sweating like crazy. Coaches are the BEST - Donnie, Matthew, Astrid, and Richie will all make you smile, even when you're huffing and puffing on the treadmill. I appreciated how he kindly called me out that I wasn't on the "standard" 1% incline on my run on the treadmill which is the "base incline" for running. The other major part that made my experience exceptional was because the person at the front desk was so hospitable and welcoming. Since I was dropping in for the first time to this location she gave me a little quick tour which I don't always get where she walked with me to show me the different types of bathrooms & showers available and where the lockers were. She was even able to guide me about the free parking lot structure around the corner from Orange to the right. I think she made this experience top notch and an exemplar of how it should feel every time you walk in an Orangetheory location. I now love this location because they offer the "tread" workout which I seek high and low for around town at 5:30am! Love, love, love!

It brings me joy! What's weird is people like using the green faux grass strip (aka the sled track) for sit-ups and such. It's not their fault tho, as all the low impacts weights are in the corner right next to the strip. The locker room has a sauna, and there's a nice lounging area just outside the locker room with quality stocked vending machines. The free book library is right there as well. The one problem was the cycle class. It's so so sad because they created an amazing space. It looks like one of those cycle clubs, with a raised area for the instructor, track lights around the mirror, and newer bikes. But we tried a class and realized very quickly why it's only moderately filled. The old dude started by saying we were going to have a cheer off, saying he was working on our public speaking (aka WHAT I DO FOR A LIVING). He kept saying just wait til we get going, that the class would be challenging, but ten minutes in and we were still stretching to classical music.
