Outside - I was confused by mention of the Donut Derelicts when searching online, and realized it's a car club that frequents the place.

Average quality. It's a popular place with the locals, probably due to proximity and no other options close by. It's a very busy place and everybody knows everybody. I was confused by mention of the Donut Derelicts, and realized it's a car club that frequents the place. They have a variety of donuts and a large variety of stuffed croissants, including breakfast croissants. I got the crumb glazed donut and the chocolate glazed donut. They were kind of dry and seemed like they were made days ago. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant and also the ham and cheese croissant. They were fresh but not as good as I've had at other places. The croissant dough was a bit dense. The coffee was decent.

This place was awesome!! I kinda got carried away ordering 2 dozen donuts! Lol. Each donut was so delicious and soft and fluffy. The apple ones are great! I believe you can get a dozen with a "hole" for about $14. We also got specialty donuts and those were anywhere between $2-$4 I think. We ended up spending around $40 for 2 dozen but we also got a lot of specialty donuts shown in the picture. There were a lot of people getting donuts, and they were selling fast! My wife came here by herself the first time and they were out of apple donuts. I was glad we got a few. The inside is small but you can sit of you want. They even have seating outside if you want to enjoy your donuts outside. All the donuts were great and I'll definitely be coming back to try more!

1. This spot has so many different types of croissants and donuts! The Apricot Walnut Croissant was amazingly delicious with the right sweetness and texture, and the coffee was comforting! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes with lots of people actually staying-in with their treats! 3. The staff was friendly and made it easy for my first-time at this spot! Note: They do accept card payments! First, if you are there early, you'll see some of the nicest gentlemen in HB solving the problems of the world. Be sure to pay your respects with a smile! The variety of donuts and pastries is beyond your average donut shop. When I was here they had Guava Cream Cheese, Pineapple Coconut, Blueberry Cream Cheese, Nutella, Almond, and plain Croissants. They also had several flavors of Cronuts (fried croissant donuts), cookies, and the classic selection of cake and yeast donuts. Kudos to the manager who insisted on carrying out my 5 huge croissants and tiger tail donut to my car upon seeing my cane. The friendly atmosphere cranks up a few notches on Saturdays when #DonutDerelicts have an informal weekly car show that has been going since 1986.

Next time we come we want to try the passionfruit filled donut! The armosphere was hip & staff very nice. Also, passionfruit filled donut was the bomb! & butterchip cookie was deliciou. If I lived in the area I would be a usual.

So whenever…read moreI'm doing running my errands, I'm definitely going to drop by paderia for some baked goods. I'm a very picky person when it comes to a chocolate chip cookie. I have this belief that if a bakery has a perfect chocolate chip cookie, everything else is great. My definition of a chocolate chip cookie has to have a crunchy outside, a good balance and amount of dark and milk chocolate chips , perfect sweetness level with the perfect ratio of brown to white sugar for sweetness and chewiness and the obvious soft and gooey center. Paderias is a 9 out of 10 for me and it never disappoints. My 2nd fav is their triple chocolate. Those two are hands down my all time picks. Ordering is done through iPads which is simple to navigate. You have to come early to snag their items because they do sell out rather quickly esp on the weekends. The interior is very clean and beautifully designed. Plenty of parking and easy to spot the location!

I didn't have a great first visit of this place a few months ago but I'm glad I came back…read more I ordered their yogurt cloud lychee jasmine tea and it was so good. I genuinely would come back just for the yogurt cloud drinks. The foam on top is yogurty and is tangy and creamy and goes perfect with the bottom tea part of the drink. The only thing I would say is that the drink was a bit too sweet and i would get less sweet next time. Their cookies were already sold out at 3pm on a weekend so would have to come back earlier next time in order to get one.

I like that they have self-order kiosks and Toast online ordering, so there's rarely a line. You…read morealso get 3-4 hours of Wi-Fi with a purchase, so make sure to keep your text or printed receipt. Their bathroom is very clean. Kei Coffee is beautifully designed with a great ambiance for getting work done. There are group and solo seats, but it usually gets crowded after 10:30am. The food, especially the burrito, is solid like the other Kei Concept spots. The drinks are just okay though. Besides the Vietnamese coffee, most of the coffee drinks taste incredibly weak. The matcha has also been disappointing every time I've tried it since their grand opening- too milky and watered down despite being ceremonial grade. The hojicha is good. Overall, it's a nice spot to catch up with friends or lock in and work. Drinks are fine if you just need something sweet.

"Solid Coffee" is either the most honest name ever... or the bar was set very high. Luckily, they…read morelived up to it. I pulled up while waiting on my sandwich from a nearby spot (multitasking at its finest), and decided to do what any self-respecting coffee enthusiast would do--wander into a local coffee shop like I know what "notes" I'm tasting. The barista immediately passed the vibe check and recommended the Groovy Gorilla iced latte--his personal favorite. Then he casually mentioned he makes it his own way, like some underground coffee remix. Say less. I told him to bless me with the custom version, and he delivered. (Shoutout to that man--he knew exactly what he was doing.) I also grabbed a massive chocolate chip cookie with sea salt flakes because... balance. You can't just have a handcrafted latte without a cookie the size of your face. That's against hipster coffee bylaws. First sip of the latte? Yeah... I got it. Banana, chocolate, peanut butter--basically if a smoothie and a dessert had a highly caffeinated, well-dressed child. Smooth, flavorful, and dangerously easy to drink. Only downside? It's in Huntington Beach and not LA, which feels like a personal inconvenience to me. But if you're anywhere nearby, this spot is absolutely worth pulling up to. Final verdict: great coffee, great vibes, and a barista who might secretly be a flavor scientist.

Not the best for drinks but a good option if you need a place to work/study that opens somewhat late & isn't crowded. We tried the matcha monkey (banana matcha) and their new summer drink, melona matcha. Their banana matcha was pretty sweet and strong in banana flavor in the cream top and syrup, but lacked the taste of matcha. Same for the melona matcha. Super refreshing as it's made with cantaloupe milk but no matcha. Not bad but they're not known for their matcha, so I would stick to their coffee. Minor things to note - they blast the AC so I would make sure to dress warmly or bring a jacket. Parking can be a bit rough but I confirmed with the barista that they don't check parking at the front, so you can ignore the time limit!
