Realizing that I was sitting in my car I happened to look up and realized I was in the same parking lot with this dental group so I read a few reviews and that's what made me go in, now mind you I was nervous when I first walked in, but they told me all they were going to do was X-rays and then see what's going on. Now I've had a chipped tooth for about six months to a year maybe and knew it was just best to have the tooth pulled which I was ready for them to pull the tooth out but what they did was failed to tell me that the tooth was infected and needed to come out and sent me away with and infected tooth and paper work. So with no other option I left this dentist and was forced to call my primary dentist which told me that the tooth was actually infected and needed to come out and that's just what they did was pulled the tooth out which was just what the doctor ordered!! So I feel if this isn't your dentist then they will not see you and after this experience I will not be going back!!!

After a failed dental procedure on the part of this particular dentist, I now have a gap where a crown should be. After attempting to communicate with the office manager on six separate occasions, with no response, to receive my medical recommendations, I received a letter that I will no longer be under the care of this dentist. The decision, however, was already made when the front desk person lied and illegally claimed that a missed appointment would be reported to my insurance, and my insurance could be canceled. This is the kind of lie, deception, and even possibly extortion that will eventually cause this dentist's office to lose Medi-Cal funding. I was denied care after canceling an appointment due to the death of my aunt. I received no compassion, no accommodation, only rudeness from the front desk. Not to mention the ILLEGAL threat which has been recorded, documented and submitted to MediCal/DentaCal. You should be very careful who you choose to lie to, because I can very easily have Medi-Cal funding cut from your place of business, which would leave you with no job. So, though you denied my further care, I had no intent of going back, even after being left with an incomplete dental procedure, which is your fault, the fault of the dentist, not my own. For those considering between one ghetto dentist in Hemet, San Jacinto area, or the other, definitely don't choose this one. Not only will they leave you with an incomplete dental procedure, no follow-up, no returned calls to provide me with my dental records, a threat that I will lose my medical insurance (which could affect other areas of my life), but also general rudeness, lack of empathy, and also illegal activity. I would recommend not choosing this dentist office, and also be very careful when uneducated, unintelligent front desk staff try to intimidate or threaten you with missed appointments by telling you that you will lose your medical care. I would also not recommend this dentist if you're on Medi-Cal, because I will now actively be communicating with Medi-Cal and the ombudsman that I work with to have the Medi-Cal funding taken away from this dentist. A simple misunderstanding is one thing. A bold-faced lie, threat, and intimidating remark from an uneducated front desk minimum wage worker is a completely different story and violates many mandates, which Medi-Cal takes very seriously. This message is to current and future potential patients, as well as to the dentist. If you do not remedy the situation, you will have a lawsuit on your hands.

WOW! Dr. Vega was the best! He immediately made feel at ease and comfortable with his demeanor and patience. He answered all my questions and explained what was to be done. The procedure went better than I could have expected! Dr. Vega and his assistant, Yadi, made me feel so at ease and I felt no discomfort during the procedure. My mother had a crown placed by Dr. Judith Ko and has been complaining of pain for months…read moreafterward. Despite repeatedly bringing up her concerns, the pain continued to worsen. She expressed in April to Dr. Ko she was experiencing pain in the tooth and was dismissed. Two weeks ago she returned for a cleaning and expressed concerns of it hurting and being swollen and she told her that her bite was off and she reshaped the crown. My mom continued to express concerns of infection. This morning, she returned to the office because the pain had become so severe that she could no longer eat. She told Dr. Ko she was concerned the tooth was infected and worried that, if left untreated, it could progress to sepsis. Rather than taking her concerns seriously, Dr. Ko laughed. She referred my mother to another dentist "for peace of mind." When my mother asked if the office could call to help get her seen urgently because she believed the tooth was infected, Dr. Ko told her it made no difference whether the office called or she did. Thankfully, my mother contacted her previous dentist after leaving the appointment. Within hours, they arranged an emergency appointment with an outstanding endodontist. By this afternoon, she was already being treated. What was suppose to be an emergency assessment became an emergency procedure. During the emergency root canal, the endodontist found that all four roots of the tooth were infected. He rated the infection an 8.5 out of 10 in severity and said he was surprised she wasn't much sicker or in even more severe pain considering how extensive the infection was. He also explained that, had the infection continued untreated, it could have progressed to a life-threatening infection. The complete lack of urgency, compassion, and willingness to investigate months of ongoing pain is incredibly disappointing. Had my mother accepted being dismissed this morning instead of seeking another opinion, the outcome could have been far worse. I hope future patients' concerns are taken seriously before they reach this point.
