I called several times to follow up on receiving an estimate, with assurances from the customer service representative that he would get to the estimate, that he was working on the estimate, and that the estimate was completed and should have been sent out. I additionally emailed Nick about the estimate, and he told me that he was working on the estimate that morning. I still to this day have not received the estimate. I get the fact that the job I was requesting was not an easy job, and not as profitable as other summer work; therefore, I understand the fact that a lot of contractors will pass on this type of work. However, consistently leading me on and then never giving me an estimate is terrible customer service. This isn't dating, this is getting work done at my house. Either send out an estimate, or say "Look, we are not interested in doing the work."

They were flexible with dates and availability. Alex was the repairman and worked tirelessly for 5 hours to strip and refinish my bathtub. I honestly didn't know it was going to take so long (but it makes sense), so that was probably the only thing that would be nice to know ahead of time (how long it takes). Plus Alex had to come back the next day, to recaulk the bathtub. These are probably standard things, but I didn't know about the process, so was a little taken aback. Good thing I was free the next day too. The repair seems to be done well and I am hoping it will hold up over time. I believe they have a 5 year residential warranty too, which seems pretty good.
