The other- plain and simply, high caliber of professionalism, authenticity, and warmth that I've had the pleasure to experience after hiring KLK to work their magic for my engagement and wedding photos at The Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel, this past July. Firstly, my fiancé is not a fan of taking any kind of photos (downright hates the mere thought of it), but Paul changed that all for him during our short engagement and wedding photoshoot so that deserves an extra thank you, as I thought that was not possible. And to have many amazing photos to show for the least possible amount of time to shoot is nothing short of amazing, and illustrates the quality of output you would receive from KLK. Not only that, Kristi and Paul are the cutest, most down to earth and friendliest people you'll meet in the industry. We have only received our wedding teasers to date, and they were all outstanding. Can't wait to see the rest of the wedding images which KLK has communicated will complete in the next week or so - we also purchased a custom wedding photo book which we are very excited about! We can't recommend KLK enough and truly made the best choice picking them as our wedding photographers-- simply one of a kind!

After speaking with her, we decided to do an indoor (at our home) and outdoor shoot and we're so glad that we chose to do this! Lena also gave some good tips on how to pose during the photoshoot which my husband and I were thankful for. She even got into the water with us to capture the fantastic sunset! If you want to re-live your big day over and over again years later, James is your guy! My wife and I had never done a professional photoshoot. Neither of us are particularly comfortable in front of the camera. After interviewing 5 different photographers, we knew from our first conversation that James was the one. He is incredibly friendly, easy going, and knowledgeable. We agreed to do an engagement session, 1 location for 90mins to see if we'd be comfortable working with James. It couldn't have gone better. Initially, we were a bit stiff, but James gave us tips on how to act naturally, suggested poses and hand positions that made us feel and look relaxed. The time flew by and we actually ended up going to a second location with a wardrobe change. Overall, it was about 2 hours. James did not mind at all. In fact, he probably could've gone longer if the sun hadn't set on us! Our photos were edited and received in less than 2 weeks! James was kind enough to print a large poster and sign that shipped to our house in just a few days. He price matched any package/prints from other photographers. Having gone through our engagement session seamlessly, we hired James to shoot our wedding as well. He and an assistant were on site for 10 hours, tending to our every need and keeping us on our timeline. After our planned family/wedding party photos, we hardly even noticed them working as we proceeded with wedding events. After the wedding, we received many compliments on how great James was and several guests asked for his contact information. Within a couple of days, we received a preview of about 20 photos highlighting our big day. We were thrilled! Every important moment was captured so elegantly! The full magazine of photos was available for download in about 1 month. James then worked with us to print a high quality photo book for our coffee table. You can't go wrong with James--his high quality work and work ethic speak for themselves. There is no substitute for how easy and stress free he made us feel, so that we could truly enjoy ourselves knowing that he would capture every single moment candidly. Do not hesitate to hire James, it will be the best decision you will ever make.

Add in the fact that we had just…read morearrived to Orange County and knew no one in Southern California, and it was downright stressful! Mary made it less so. With her knowledge of the area, she was able to add in a few helpful tips on how to make the day even more magical, from proposal tips to info about the location I planned on. But let's talk about what you really want to hear about: the photos. After the butterflies and excitement of a proposal, my fiancée and I were so nervous that we didn't know how to take photos afterwards. Mary got us distracted -- encouraging me to talk about how I asked for her parents blessing -- and shot some amazing photos. As a testament to Mary's skills, or perhaps my fiancée's beauty, we retouched exactly zero photos. On top of that, within a few days we had a link in our mailbox to see them all, just in time for an Instagram post. I cannot recommend Mary enough. Thank you!

The photo studio is located inside AR Galleria (the main galleria entrance was locked on Sunday afternoon so I had to enter through the side door via Cafe Lowell). [Parking]: Easy and free parking in the large plaza. [Reservation]: I was able to call and book a same-day reservation on Sunday. Visitors can also make an online reservation via the studio's website. Upon arrival, I scanned a QR code and signed a waiver before the owner started my 5-minute photo session. [Price]: $27 for 4 physical copies and digital copies to download via email (must be downloaded within 7 days). I did not initially receive an email, but I emailed the owner the next day about the download link and he sent a follow-up email with the link within a few hours (the email was hidden in my spam folder). The email included all the pictures taken during the session. The shop also makes photo keychains ($4+ each). The studio also offers 15-minute and 30-minute self-portrait sessions. [Studio]: While I was here for a passport photo, the studio mainly operates as a self-portrait studio where customers take photos of themselves. This small studio has all the props and camera setup needed to make it happen. [Process]: The owner had me sit on a chair and took 7 pictures. Out of the 7 pictures taken, I was able to choose one for him to print while the rest of pictures can be downloaded via a link in an email. It was more important to receive a digital copy because the US passport renewal process requires applicants to upload a digital photo rather than submit a physical copy. I was able to use one of the digital copies and now that same picture will be on my passport for the next 10 years before the next renewal timeline. [Conclusion]: Overall it was an efficient process and I was able to walk in and out within 15 minutes. However, it would be helpful for the studio to provide additional entry instructions on the website when the main galleria entrance is locked.
