I had heard through co-workers that Dr. Gulde was wonderful and was relieved to find that he accepted my plan. The sweet woman who answered the phone got me in the same day as "an emergency". I expected to wait, but they didn't make me wait for long. She even had my insurance worked out before I even got there! My last office ALWAYS messed up my insurance. Either way, athough they had other patients, they made sure I was seen promptly. The genuine respect for my fears and desire by him to make this a "pleasant" experience amazed me. The Dr. and his sweet assistant (I think her name was Pamela?), took care of me that day and made sure I walked out with a gorgeous smile. I was surprised I wasn't even in pain, once the numbness wore off. Dr. Gulde explained every step of the procedure so I knew exactly what to expect, putting my mind at ease, and they did not pressure me to start anything until all of my questions were answered. I never thought I would say, but the experience was actually a pleasure. I would suggest anyone who is scared of dentist, or who has had a bad experience (like I have) to give this office a try. HOLY. CRAP. I just got back from having a root canal done…read moreand all I can say is "did that really just happen?" Mr. Ladley is one of the nicest, well rounded dentists i've ever met in my entire life. I'm terrified of going to the dentist, due to my previous awful experiences with them. But this just blew my mind. He numbed me up and I didn't even feel the needle. Note, I have a very low pain tolerance. I felt a little pinch, but it was the equivalent of less than accidentally biting your cheek. That would hurt MORE. The procedure itself was about a half hour, and I felt nothing. I mean, NOTHING. Sure, I felt vibration from the drill. But it wasn't gross, I wasn't scared, and I hyped myself up for nothing. I had no idea dentistry could be this awesome. Makes sense, considering it's frickin' 2014. I know this sounds like one of those fake reviews bc he has like none yet, but i'm so blown away by the root canal I can't even stop talking about it to my husband. No pain, no mess. I go back in about two weeks to finish the procedure (it's a two step process, he talked me through the whole thing - which is also awesome). He is very patient, willing to listen, won't rush you, and his medical staff is also amazing and friendly. I don't have dental insurance so I had to pay out of pocket. That was the only painful thing about my visit. Other than that, i'd get a root canal from him any time. :) Definitely worth going to, especially if you have a dentist phobia like me.
