They offer sedation options which has been a lifesaver for big dental jobs, they accept most insurances, do payment plans (3rd party) and have wiggle room for payment. We've left and didn't pay and paid 4 days later due to a block on our card. Appointments are decently easy to get, the front waiting area and restrooms are always so clean. My only complaint if it really is one is they're ALWAYS behind. Not by like 15 mins, but by 40-to an hour. Which I'm glad they spend the extra care and time with you but it is stressful sometimes if you have other appointments etc.

I should have got a second opinion on 5 fillings. The rest went to a 2nd dentist for a new evaluation , another cleaning, pull a tooth and redo a filling that cracked. The rest went of it went to a endodonist to do 2 root canals on 2 fillings , because the first dentist put the filling on the roots. I have been in pain for over 2 months on my left side. I will still need 2 caps. I never had any pain prior to my appointment here on my left side.

I was a new patient and needed an x-ray done ASAP since I was having a lot of pain and sensitivity with a crown I had placed about 9 months ago. They were able to schedule my appointment for the same day and after the x-ray was completed, Dr. de la Torre was super straightforward and informative, letting me know that I needed an extraction. I asked him how much it would cost, he gave me a reasonable price and stated he can do the extraction the same day. I was extremely nervous since I had never had an extraction done before, but they assured me that it would be quick and would only be sore for a couple of days. His assistant was also very sweet and empathetic, letting me know that she knows it can be a hassle to go through multiple dental procedures. I was in and out of there within an hour and a half. They sent me home with care instructions and a pain med prescription. Now, it's the next day and I barely have any soreness. I appreciate the professionalism and recommend Dr. de la Torre and his team without hesitation!

Had I payed attention to previous reviews I would never have gone here but I make my own judgement of any business. The staff here from the receptionists, to the technicians, to the hygienist and Dr Sarah Moussally were amazing. Friendly, appointments right on time, helpful, efficient and my work was done perfectly. Dr Sarah is an artist and my front teeth look perfect, and my two crowns look so natural. My hygienist was great and I can continue with her for cleanings. Prices were reasonable compared to what my friends said it cost them for the same work they had done at their dentist as I had done. If you are in need of dental work I highly recommend this business in Tavares. If I could do more than 5 stars I would!

I left after being seated the lobby for 50 minutes, and watched a patient get taken back before me after they waited just 15 minutes. I was a new patient that scheduled this appointment just two days prior to coming in. I have been experiencing on and off pain from the wisdom tooth, as well as hot and cold pains and needed to get in ASAP. I arrived at exactly 1 o'clock for my appointment (not a minute late). There were three people ahead of me, but were all taken back by 1:15. I was the only one in the lobby for about 20 minutes until another gentleman came in around 1:30ish. He sat for just 15 minutes before being taken back before me. When I asked the front desk why this occurred, I was told he had a different doctor and different work being done. Being a new patient, being in pain, and after sitting in the lobby for nearly an hour I felt totally disrespected. I am sure they did not do it intentionally, and their staff was friendly. However, I did not get the treatment I needed and I'm now going to have to go a few more days in pain until I get another appointment somewhere else. I'm not sure why I was booked at 1 if there were 4 other patients taken before me causing me to wait nearly an hour. Would I have had to wait another 50 minutes if I didn't approach the front and ask what was going on? It was just 5 minutes after I asked why I was not being seen that a dental assistant came out to take me back... Another reason I left was because I was told the doctor was still treating a different patient and would be a little longer before I saw her. So even though I was going to the back, who knows how long it would have been before the doctor was completed with their current patient? Once again, the staff is friendly and they do a great job answering the phone, scheduling patients and being friendly. But I personally am not happy with how I was handled at 1 PM on a Friday after being on time and making this appointment as a new patient for pain.

Dr Le installed a bridge on a tooth that I had mentioned was throbbing and uncomfortable totally…read moredisregarding my concern. Consequently, I had to have the bridge removed by another dentist at my expense. Also, I was offered a credit card through Dr Le's office so I could now afford implants. Implants seem to be the goal for Dr. Le, but not for me. I do not trust Dr Le and his ulterior motives. I was loud and clear that If my insurance does not cover it I don't want it done. However, I was constantly billed for one thing or another which I did not approve. This was a very stressful and painful dental experience as I had to raise my hand repeatedly for pain. And after multiple painful hand raises, I just had to sit up in the dental chair to stop him completely before I was able to receive more pain medication. Dr Le noted that I had become combative because I sat up and stopped him from torturing me. It was a terrible experience I'm sorry to say, but necessary to raise awareness of this kind of treatment. Beware of this Mt Dora Modern Dentistry and Dr Le. Thank you. Do not recommend.
