Dr. Wang impressed me through his kindness and attention. I'd just had my regular checkup with no problems but a few weeks later, I felt sharp pain in my eye. I was alarmed because I was about to spend weeks in a rural area with poor access to medical care. Although his schedule was packed, Dr. Wang stayed late to examine me and get me the scan needed to rule out a serious condition. He made sure I would be able to contact him immediately if the problem recurred - luckily, it didn't. He is conscientious and caring. I recommend this practice. read more

My 5 year old daughter had a visit for the firs time. The staff was friendly and helped explain everything she was doing. The office was very organized and had my daughter's account information in the computer before we arrived. So I felt they were prepared. I love organization and planning so I tend to get a little impatient with places that are unorganized. The dr. (Female) was super thorough and patient. This is only a review of policy as I never even got to make an appointment! This business has a policy NOT to see more than two family members at the same time - no exceptions. So - If I wanted to bring in myself and my two small children, aged 8 and 5, I would have to make two trips. One trip for myself and one child, while still having the other child with us; and another trip for the second child, again while having the first child with us anyway. Very pleased with the front desk staff and the doctor that assisted me with my eye exam. Called for a same day last minute medical exam because I hurt my eye in the afternoon when some moisturizer irritated it. Doctor recommended a full eye exam because it had been too long since my last one and it was only $4 more than the medical exam so I opted for both. My eye was injured and I do have an eye disease that requires glasses so it was good that I went in and waited and not the bullet and finally did it...after years of no exam. I did wait for hours and hours...like over two and close to three...I literally shut the place down. But they were completely booked and since it was an emergency I didn't have an appointment. So that's to be expected. Overall, I was really happy with the service and will be back in the future to buy my glasses. read more

If you are looking for a professional optometrist, with a large selection of frames this is the place! They are always professional and nice, i was a bit nervous about coming in due to covid, but they did everything to make me feel safe and secure while i got my exam. They took every proper step to ensure everything was sanitized and clean. I wish i could give acuvision more then 5 stars, thats how lovely the new place is, this is my fourth pair of glasses so far and don't plan on going anywhere else. I called before making my initial appointment, I was told my insurance would be accepted. I was in the middle of insurance providers so I knew I would have to pay for the exam out of pocket, which wasn't a problem. After I have fixed my insurance situation I was told that they didn't work with my provider( I had told them on my 1st visit which insurance I would be getting and they assured me they were accepted at their office) now I have to go elsewhere to order my lenses, after being under the impression that I had found a new optometrist. They did provide me good service otherwise, but I wasn't happy after doing the exam there that I'll have to start my search over for a dr that does take my in my area. After my experience with this office, I was contacted by a member of their staff. They helped me out and refunded me for the eye exam. They also went above and beyond and gave me 6 months contact lenses, while I search for a new optometrist. Thank you very much, that definitely changed my experience and gave me the time I need to find a provider, that accepts my insurance. read more

If I could give them 25 stars I would! I had to take my oldest for an exam while my 1 and 3 yr old were with us. Dr wang was so patient and accommodating to the chaos. He would take turns with my oldest and I so I could watch the baby. At one point when I was in the chair, one of the receptionists helped with all three! So amazing. Best healthcare experience I've ever had. I've seen both Dr. Wang and Dr. Yang. Both are personable and take the time to explain not only the medical aspects of your exam, but also are very informative about how to make the most out of your vision insurance/benefits. Because I only get an eye exam once a year, I often forget what my vision benefits are. The staff here are on top of it! Also, I never have to ask what the best deal is; they always tell me what rebates are available for contact lens and then file the paperwork for me! Such an easy and pleasant experience. not sure what the deal is with the 5 star reviews from others but I can assure you this this place by no means deserves 5 stars. I've been coming here for a couple of years now and I will say the service is fine. I have never really had to wait long to see the optometrist. The main down side to this office is the limited selection of glasses. The last time I came here I had to take my prescription to Lenscrafters because they have so little frames to choose from. Yes, come here for eye care and prescriptions, but go elsewhere for your frames. read more

I'm very picky when it comes to doctors offices. For years I would drive from Whittier to Culver City just to see my former eye doctor. I finally came to Yelp to look for recommendations for someone closer and I'm so glad I did. My first visit here was great! Sarah was super helpful booking my appointment and providing pricing via email. They even asked my current prescription so they could make sure they had trial pairs in stock. The exam was the most thorough I have ever had and the Dr. explained everything along the way. I was able to get all of my questions about LASIK answered. My contacts took a little longer to arrive than they had quoted so they gave me 2 free pairs (an extra two months!). They also took care of the rebate for me so I didn't have to worry about it.
