The massage itself was decent. Hot stones and aromatic. Definitely a language barrier, but they get the job done.

Quietly soaked my feet ahead of my appointment (get there 15 minutes early; it's worth it!!) John did a fantastic job. I hadn't had a scalp massage before but I don't think I'll ever skip it again. Great pressure level, very comfortable the whole time. I had seen someone go in the spa ahead of me but it was so quiet you'd never know anyone else was there. Please note you can add tip on a card should you pay with one: there is a 4% fee for card transactions. They do notify you of this ahead of time, and that cash is preferred, but no guilt should you prefer to pay with card (like I do).

All the credit card and service fees can really add up. There's an ATM in the lobby, but of course there's a fee to use it. So come prepared and pay in cash!! If you do, they will waive the service fee for you. The whole atmosphere is so relaxing and beautiful. (And clean!) We did a couple's massage that came with a foot soak. I remember thinking that the massage chair was getting out the knots in my back and shoulders, but that was nothing compared to our actual massage Ann and Tamara were SO sweet and kind. Also very professional. They helped us feel really relaxed and comfortable during the whole experience. There were a ton of shoes in the lobby, yet I only saw one other couple! Once again, so very relaxing and calm. Treat yourself by going here!

The Female Therapists are Wonderful There Work Monday…read morethrough Saturday The prices are quite fair!!!!

First I'd like to say that I've been here before, and I had a wonderful experience. Last year I had…read moreweakness and pain in my left leg/hip that wasn't corrected by recurring chiropractic visits. I decided to go to a massage therapist and ask them to massage my butt. (I don't know why this makes me giggle.) I was black and blue but now I can lift my leg again! Because of this great first visit (plus the Harry Potter decor of the building), I'll give this 2 stars instead of 1. For Christmas this year I asked for gift certificates for this place because of my previous positive experience. Today, not even a week after the holidays, I eagerly used one. Within five minutes of the massage, I was battling in my mind to stay positive--maybe things would get better. They didn't. I truly felt like someone was rubbing lotion on me. That's it. I eventually asked for more pressure because I'm one of those people who don't speak up when they should and I think it resulted in elbows and knuckles being thrown into the mix, but it just didn't feel good or relaxing (I kept thinking about proper tipping etiquette for a bad massage and was stressing myself out). I'm not sure if the massage therapist had long finger nails or what, but I rarely felt a thumb--and never pressure from her other fingers. I ended up falling asleep--because of boredom. If there were a way to get up and shake hands and declare "this just isn't working," I would have done it. One hour ended up being a bad thing instead of a retreat. There were also a couple of Kleenex's leading up to the room--one right outside the door sitting in a cup on a ledge, and another on a table in the room that she disposed of as she left the room so I could undress. It's cold season and she works with her hands, so I was mildly grossed out. I have another gift certificate so I will be returning, but I'm going to be very specific with the receptionist and I'm going to tell her about my experience today--although I'll feel like a jerk. I truly hope that this woman was just under the weather and they force her to take sick leave, and I can adjust this rating after my next visit.

After checking the reviews and seeing nothing but top marks across the board, I was convinced! This is a building off of highway 7 in SLP with street parking along the road next to it. Inside, there's a simple but comfortable waiting room. My reflexologist Mary Ann welcomed me warmly and since it was my first time, told me about reflexology and how it works. She asked if I had anything in particular I wanted to work on, and got started. My feet are usually so ticklish, but they weren't at all during the session! Throughout, Mary Ann told me which pressure points correlated to which parts of the body - so fascinating. I could definitely tell when she hit the points that correlate with where I hold tension: my neck, shoulders, and lower back. It was a soothing and relaxing session, and I learned so much. At the end, Mary Ann even showed me which parts of my hand I can press on myself when I'm feeling tension in certain areas. We had a wonderful conversation and Mary Ann's laughter is enough to brighten any one's day, reflexology aside. Plus they have a Yelp check in offer for 10% off. I'll definitely be back!
