I especially loved their technique for massaging the neck and glutes. I felt so refreshed and HEALED after my 60 minutes (not 50 minutes) session. I also loved that I was able to walk in to get a massage; some places require you to book an appointment 1 to 2 months in advance. SO convenient that I can get a massage as needed. I'm cancelling my 13 year membership at Massage Envy and planning to come back here whenever I need a great massage. Honestly, the quality of the massage I received was as good as the ones at high end places that charge twice as much. I wasn't too thrilled about how the place looks from the outside; I almost cancelled and drove back home. She put me in the room and asked if it was okay, and told me to get ready and she'd be back before leaving. There was no sheet to cover myself up, and i asked for one before being providing it. I began to look for a spot to put my bag and noticed a sewing machine at the base of where my feet would go. Overall this felt like they were very unprepared for me. There was a curtain for the door allowing me to hear every word of a customer who was getting ready to leave as well as the woman at the front desk. I decided from here I'd be leaving as I did not feel safe or as if i would be able to properly unwind or relax. I would highly recommend that consideration for safety, and relaxation is considered by the business as clients are coming here to unwind and this would likely not feel safe for most women. If someone came into this business the room they put me in would be easily accessible or viewable. I just imagine with the location of this room that it would potentially be thought of as a bathroom. Maybe someone else's experience would be better but I would not return here as I need to not worry about my safety when going to get a massage.

When I left my appointment, I felt like I normally do and was relaxed but my body felt "off" on my right side. Like really off! I went home and went to straight to bed and couldn't get comfortable and started to experience pain and a burning fire from my neck, my right shoulder down into my right hand. It became absolutely excruciating! The nerve pain was on fire! Since my appointment at Hand & Aroma Massage, I was bed bound for 4 weeks, had to quit my job because I cannot function, I have been in pain every single day, my right hand is still completely numb from nerve injury nd I do not have any feeling in it STILL! I had some shoulder pain keeping me up at night so I needed to find a place for a massage and came across this place. It's a small business in a cute business center where the outside of the business center look like little houses. It's basic interior decor (not a fancy spa), but cute and clean. When you first enter, you will be required to pay before the massage. They prefer cash, but they do take credit card for slightly higher price to cover the cost of the credit card transaction. Prices are good and my massage therapist, Lily gave a great massage! When she first starts out, she massages for awhile with the sheet on your body, later she moves to using oil. She uses good sweeping motions with her forearms, great pressure with her hands and even was on the table a few times to apply the right amount of pressure. I prefer medium to firm pressure and I thought it was right on. I felt like she worked really hard to give me a good massage! My shoulder and my whole body feels so much better! There is a little bit of a language barrier, but she didn't seem to have a hard time understanding me...there was a few times I had to ask her to repeat herself during our conversation. That doesn't bother me as she was super sweet and professional. I even made another appointment for my daughter to get a massage, they are very accommodating with days/times. I gave a 5 star based on my level of massage I received, I feel like it was as good or better than some I have received in the past. I will be back again!
