About 9 weeks ago I went in to have a reflexology full body treatment. I have been here as a customer several times. When I left my appointment, I felt like I normally do and was relaxed but my body felt "off" on my right side. Like really off! I went home and went to straight to bed and couldn't get comfortable and started to experience pain and a burning fire from my neck, my right shoulder down into my right hand. It became absolutely excruciating! The nerve pain was on fire! Since my appointment at Hand & Aroma Massage, I was bed bound for 4 weeks, had to quit my job because I cannot function, I have been in pain every single day, my right hand is still completely numb from nerve injury nd I do not have any feeling in it STILL! My life has completely fallen apart literally just from getting a massage and having someone injure me, possibly permanently! Do NOT go here! It is not worth it and I do not want anyone else to suffer like I have and STILL am constantly! It's been almost 9 weeks of total HELL WARNING!!!! URGENT UPDATE October 10th....i STILL do not have feeling in my right hand! My hand is completely numb from getting a reflexology appointment here! I am sooooo UPSET! Quietly soaked my feet ahead of my appointment (get there 15 minutes early; it's worth it!!) John did a fantastic job. I hadn't had a scalp massage before but I don't think I'll ever skip it again. Great pressure level, very comfortable the whole time. I had seen someone go in the spa ahead of me but it was so quiet you'd never know anyone else was there. Please note you can add tip on a card should you pay with one: there is a 4% fee for card transactions. They do notify you of this ahead of time, and that cash is preferred, but no guilt should you prefer to pay with card (like I do).

She evaluates how your nervous system flows and targets areas that needs to be released to increase flow. It was strange because during some of the gentle pressure, I could feel a tingling sensation in the area that she was working on. My neck mobility has improved, sciatica has improved also. Unfortunately I started my period the morning of the massage, and when I let Anicha know she became extremely concerned with my comfort levels. She allowed me to switch to a table massage instead of the originally planned Thai massage, and even consulted with him while I was changing to make sure I was okay keeping the appointment and wasn't just being polite. She was just really concerned that I would be uncomofortable and wouldn't get the most out of the massage. That actual massage was amazing! She used an excellent amount of pressure (I like really intense pressure) and basically worked through 2 years worth of postdocing-in-a-pandemic stress that has accumulated in my shoulders, lol.
