I was not able to go that week, however the following week I was nearby so figured I would just stop by and see if he could service my vehicle, but let him know I needed my car back by a certain time. He called about an hour before I needed it saying they were wrapping up and shared the final price which ended up being a few dollars less than the original estimate. Car felt great and we will be returning for any future maintenance needs. Great service, fair pricing and great, clear communication.

Roadside assistance gave me a jump and explained that my battery might be bad but my alternator was reading 14 so it most likely is a bad battery. Got a brand new battery from AutoZone thinking my problem was solved. After having to get another jump I brought it to Pacific on Friday and was told I needed a new alternator and was even shown the reader that read 12.44. I explained what I was told just 2 days before but the mechanic who put the reader on my car kept saying it needed replacing. Another guy then brings me in the office to show me the part costing $881 on the computer and proceeds in a dramatic fashion to tell me it's expensive but labor isn't big so he'll give me a good deal taking it from $990 to $840 and they can do it today. I would've been insulted if it wasn't so funny to me that they would think I was that dumb. After getting the BS speech I let him know I'd need to call my brother. While waiting I had already submitted requests for quotes on Yelp and immediately took my car to Dave's Quick Lube. I explained what the issue was but after running a diagnostic he said it was electrical but my alternator was actually good. Recommended I go to Golden State Auto Repair so I headed there to get my car looked at. They found out a lever was broken something was draining my battery, fixed the problem and only charged me $250! Today was the 1st day I was able to start my car up no issues. BEWARE. It's bad enough to be overcharged but to not even give accurate diagnostics is insane. Not sure if it was me being a woman or black but either way this was a disappointing experience.

The customer is treated with respect, intelligence, and dignity. My story of arriving here was a bit discombobulated. I brought my car to Funk Bros Auto on Ventura, which is a fantastic mechanic, for a new battery and a synthetic oil change. They inform me that my brake pads were down to almost nothing in the front. This was very disconcerting because I had spent my final discretionary income on the battery and the oil change. So here I am about to have brake pads go metal to metal, and being quoted a little more than I could actually afford. But as you know, brakes are pretty much an emergency repair that needs to be done as soon as you know that it needs to be done. You can't wait on brakes. So for the next 24 hours, I was emotionally distraught thinking about my vehicle. Until I did a quick yelp search and Burbank quality brake and alignment. I call, Mark answers, I tell him when I need done, he starts giving me exact pricing for each part, including the amount of cents. He tells me he'll call me back with a quote. He calls me back five minutes later and quotes me the best price that I have found anywhere for my front brakes and rotors needing to be replaced. It was JUST within my price range. I'm talking just within my price range within 20 bucks of what I could afford. Mark being so diligent and respectful with every cent accounted for allowed me to get my brakes done (which gave me instant peace of mind). And not only did they get done, once I came into the mechanic shop Mark has the biggest heart and instantly won my trust. I just handed the keys over with full confidence it was all going to be done right. He sees my guitar in the trunk and he starts talking about guitars and shows me a guitar that he designed himself a really really nice Stratocaster. I feel like I've been friends with this guy my whole life, and not only would I get every service done here in the future, but I would easily recommend that you do the same because this is a truly honorable business, and truly respectable man, who runs it putting his customers first. They not only fixed my car but went above and beyond to find the problem at their cost. They tracked down the problem that I could not find after hours and hours of working on my car and even though the first fix did not resolve it they continued to trouble shoot until the issue was resolved. They only charged for the part they repaired and not for the hours they spent trouble shooting and I know after working on the car it was not an easy fix. I have taken my car to other shops that just charge for unnecessary repairs they think are the issue but this is the first place I have found that I can honestly say treats you like family and not just trying to make a quick buck to move on to the next car. Definitely my new go to place for any work for my honda as well as my families cars. Paul has earned a lifetime customer.

Rather than spend way too much purchasing new fenders, I sourced parts for fender flares and Oleg and the team were able to seamlessly repair the damage and remove dents and scratches that makes it look brand new! I mean, really looking like these are brand new Ford panels but they are not! And he quoted a very reasonable price that they were able to deliver on that amount. While replacing the tires, Jerry noticed my front struts were completely worn out, which was causing the uneven tire wear. He explained that if we only replaced the tires, the new ones would wear out quickly too. On top of that, my car had been making a loud airplane-like noise while accelerating for the last couple of years, and Jerry diagnosed it as all four wheel bearings. Originally, the repairs were going to cost around $4,100 between the tires, struts, wheel bearings, and labor. My wife and I were overwhelmed because it was completely out of our budget. After my wife spoke with Jerry and explained our situation, he showed us something rare these days: genuine compassion. He worked with us, cut costs wherever he could, and barely charged us for labor just to help us out. He brought the total down to about $3,600. That kind of honesty and heart is hard to find in the auto industry. Jerry treated us like people, not just another paycheck.
