A few days ago, we needed to rent a wheelchair. Chris was very helpful in setting us up quickly and getting us on our way. We rented it for a week, but have the option to extend it to the monthly rate, if we need it longer. Yesterday we went back to look at shower chairs. Again, Chris was helpful with exactly what we needed. We took the measurements and left, as we want to be sure our small shower stall can accommodate it BEFORE making the purchase. Just a note for future customers . . . When purchasing medical equipment or supplies, be sure you have the correct size and model because many items are final sales only. (Another good reason to rent first, when possible.) read more

Every time my wheelchair needs repairs the technician comes in and does the evaluation and he supposedly puts in the order for the new parts. Weeks pass and I still don't receive approval letter from medical. I call Active Mobility to get an update and they tell me they never placed the order. This has happened to me several times. Its ridiculous that they do this. Then the women that work their have the nerve to say we have been calling you and you don't answer. I don't have not one missed called from them. They are very unprofessional. Not responsible at all. read more

We went in to rent a scooter like I have done twice before! Great place to rent from! Ended up buying one! Awesome sales person, took her time with us, let me try all the scooters, even had one put together for me! She told me they matched the internet prices and seemed pretty sure of what they were. And they did because the in line companies charge for delivery , warranty, bringing it into your house and who knows what else! We got a great deal and the sales lady was very kind, it's a local business and I have them in my corner if it needs repairs!! read more

We were looking for a mobility scooter that would break down to fit in our car. Eileen explained everything to us & showed us how to break it down & put it back together. She was very professional & worked with us on price as it was last one. Was able to purchase with Care Credit Card, 6 months, no interest. We are very pleased with our purchase. It is nice to purchase from a living, breathing person with good customer service. read more

Zero stars is what this company deserves.. however I had to put one star so that I could leave this message.. they're dishonest when selling you medical equipment I was under the impression that I purchased a new hospital bed when in fact I purchased a used one with zero warranty and it wasn't even put together correctly... The reason that wasn't put together correctly was their service person they came out here to assemble my hospital bed was high on drugs.. I know because he asked me for some..!! 90% of the stuff in their store is overpriced by three times.. Do you want good service do you want good prices go somewhere else read more

My scooter fell off my lift and the ignition switch got damaged. My horn was already screaming when I went places. I was afraid the key would break when I tried to turn it somewhere in the streets. I called at 10:29 and ask to speak to a technician, was told to wait to see if one was available. Ben came to the phone I explained my dilemma he informed me he needed to see it. I drove up there he happened to be in front checked my scooter fixed the ignition, horn and meter with another console. Told me the price ahead of time. I never got out of my car. Being handicapped that's a blessing. Thanks Ben I am Mobil again all this done and I am back home in less than an hour from when I called them read more

I bought a shower chair for my husband and I told the guy Chris when I was buying it how much my husband weighed and he said it was fine for his weight, brought it home and when my husband came home from the hospital he went and sat on it and the legs bent so I called them and they said to bring it in, Chris looked at it and said well it's very loose and said he sale me another one with a bigger weight limit I said ok so can I make up the difference from the chair the bought and he said no so I would be out money and if that chair didn't work I would be out that money too, poor customer service! They were eager to make the first sale but not eager to help me out. So disappointed read more

My husband's power lift recliner that he loved broke. When I called, they transferred me to a technician who worked on finding a replacement remote. It was a company that no longer existed. He made an appointment for the next day and was on time. He was professional and understanding. He made short work of finding a replacement remote that would work and even asked if he could move the chair back to its original place. Very seldom do I encounter totally awesome service personnel! Thank you, and when I need a brand new chair I will definitely go to this company. read more

Wow! Cannot say enough good things about this store and it's good people! We have needed a few things over the last couple of years and they ALWAYS have what we need!!! They're friendly from the minute you walk in the door And when it comes to knowledge and service...,they can't be beat!!!! Due to a major surgery we had a sudden and somewhat unexpected need for a lifting chair. Not only did we find the PERFECT one but they also were able to deliver it within hours!!! Because my spouse was released from hospital unexpectedly, this urgency was removed and I had one less headache to be concerned about!!! From Scooters to a lift for our van to hoist the scooter up, lifting chairs of all varieties and so much more in home equipment to help those who really need help at times when they've nowhere else to turn, this is THE PLACE to come to!!!!!!! Thank you all for your continuing professionalism and caring!!!!Duane R. Kimball read more

This place is a rip off!! I thought my moms scooter needed 2 of the small batteries replaced, when I got home the scooter continued to beep and wouldn't drive forward or backwards. I called and they said they would test my old batteries and inspect it for $45. It turned out the scooter needed a rear axle or something like that. They didn't return my old batteries and charged me for 2 new batteries, plus I paid for the axle and labor. My mom is ok about it but I won't go back there again. Total my mom paid was $260.08. read more

Don't shop with this business, total crooks, Within an hour of purchase we tried to take it back and they refused to take the item back or accept it, My wife bought this item for $439.00 unaware that it could be found on the internet for $299.00, they have on their receipt in small print all sales are final but they won't tell you this at the time of purchase. When we told them we will dispute the charge with our credit card company, they were very cocky & arrogant in their attitude and said "go right ahead", obviously they do not care about their customers or return business. I highly recommend that anyone shopping for items which they sell, take the time and search the internet or look for other options, i.e. businesses in your local area. The credit card company will dispute this charge for us, which is gratifying. read more

Nice when they sell stuff but lie and refuse to fix things that aren't working right even when it's under warranty, they don't value their customers read more

So I had high hopes for this place, but after initially being told they would help me, and then getting sidelined for a month, then they tell me they cannot sell me the seat kit adapter they originally said that they would. So they will give you the run around, make promises, leave you hanging, and then screw you over without explanation. Buyer beware. I hope someone comes and puts them out of business just to make the point that its infinitely wrong to screw people over the way this company does. Especially the disabled. I was very clear in my request to them. They said they could help me and would get me a price on the kit I require. A few weeks went by. I inquired again. Then inexplicably they turned around and decided no they could not sell the kit to me. Absolutely untrustworthy business. read more

Stay away! This place has had my scooter for 4 weeks now and all they can tell me is they are waiting for approval, what does that mean? The young man who said he was the "owner " was very unprofessional and rude. I also observed him being disrespectful to his female employees. Not a place i will ever do business with again! read more
