I've never had an issue going to this location before. I went in for one item for my vehicle; a vehicle I know all the information for. When I walked up to the counter, the male employee said, "I hope you're not going to make this difficult. Do you even know the year of your car?" After that, every question he asked was rude, and he seemed surprised that I actually knew the answers. As a female, it made me feel horrible that he was so rude and immediately assumed I wouldn't know basic information about my own vehicle. I reported the incident to the manager, who was very nice and handled the situation professionally. I would have been lost without Angel C helping me find what I needed for my ford mustang. He was very helpful and very careful to treat my car nice as he installed new windshield wiper blades and disposed of the old stuff for me. We went to this location to exchange a $5.00 fuse that was still in the original package unopened. However, the Manager on duty the evening of 9-21-2022 refused to refund our money because we didn't have the receipt. Ok, that's fine so give us a store credit. Nope! Also an impossible task. This manager did nothing to help out situation out what so ever. I left this location and went to the one on Palmdale and had EXQUISITE service. I would give zero Stars if this option was available. every single time I go to this location they are either out of stock, I have to wait 30 minutes to get help, or a combination of both. I checked online and they had plenty of the spark plugs I need it. I went in the store, waited 20 minutes for someone to help me. they go back and check my spark plugs, which they had none of on two different models. So in order for me to get my spark plugs which I needed at that moment, I had to pay an additional $2.50 per spark plug. The manager on duty shrugged her shoulders and said while you can go to the store across town to get them or pay more. I was offered a measly 10% discount. Thanks for nothing AutoZone. I'm now an O'Reilly customer for life. read more

Our battery light went out in thr middle of the Mojave. We got a tow to this Auto Zone in Adelanto. Staff called a greeting when we came in. Little did they know what they were getting into. They cheerfully checked our alternator and found it not working well. Got us a new one and checked that one before we installed it. Didn't work so they checked the battery. Wasn't holding a charge. Saw it was one of theirs, so checked the warranty. Still in warranty, so they cheerfully replaced it. Still didn't work so we started checking wires and cables, and in the process discovered the serpentine belt was split. They got us a new one. Put it in and, since we were two hundred miles from home we asked them to check the charging system, just in case. They cheerfully did. FIVE MINUTES before closing. Cheerfully! I called this location to find out how much a part cost. The person speaking on the phone asked how can he help me. After I asked for the price for my part, gave him the year make and model. He told me to please hold. Left me on hold for almost 30 minutes. I called back and the same person answered the phone. I was trying to explain that I was left on hold for almost 30 minutes and before I could finish, he told me "please hold I will help you as soon as I finish with the customer in front of me. Before he could finish I told him I just wanted his name. He said his name was Eric. This is very poor customer service. I spent over a hour on hold to find out the price of a part that I was never able to get a price on. The reason I called this location was because it was closest to my house. Biggest pet peeves is perfectly capable people taking up handicap parking and employees allowing it. Both were taken up earlier and none were handicapped. Just working on their cars. I hate seeing handicap people struggle while idiots take up their space because they're lazy. Told employees and they said they can't do anything. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I called several times to check for part availability and was put on hold several times for over 10 mins. I would hang up and call back and the representative (Patty) would just say sorry I can't help u we are very busy please hold. But she couldn't take just one minute to see what I needed all she would say is I have a line do u want to continue to hold. They have lost a customer I've always loved autozone but after this experience I will never go back. Went in for a battery test to the AutoZone on the 395 store 3780 and was assisted by Liz. She went above and beyond in assisting me with the battery test and replacement. They follow the rules at this location so she couldn't do the replacement for me being my battery has a bracket but it was dark and she helped with the tools and holding her cell phone as a light.
