A fun, affordable experience in a nice location and clean space. I like to think of it as a very innovative way to work out, as each room had me running, jumping, and/or stretching; I was definitely sore the next morning! I appreciate that each room has different sets of games that you can play at varying levels of difficulty, which kept the experience exciting and challenging. You can also collect different prizes as you move up the ranks (e.g. free water bottle at level 2, custom wrist band at level 3), which is always a fun bonus!
I'm deducting a star for two reasons:
1) Some rooms had glitchy or broken technology that interfered with our gameplay. One was in the 'Push' room, where one of the buttons was unresponsive and we were unable to complete the level as we needed that specific button to move forward. Another was in the 'Mega Grid' room where the pressure sensor was glitched up on one of the tiles, so it acted as if we were stepping on it in the 'Hopscotch' game, although none of us were actually on it. Again, this interfered with our ability to pass the level.
2) There seemed to be far too many people compared to how many the facility can actually accommodate based on number of rooms. The website does recommend booking ahead of time and appears to have a maximum number of people they will allow at one time. However, at a certain point it seemed like we spent more time waiting for rooms than actually playing, and we were unable to stay in a room for longer than one round as there were others waiting to occupy the room we were in. This was a little frustrating, considering we are provided a time limit on our experience.
Ultimately, it's a fun addition to the city and I would definitely recommend it! We are already looking forward to returning and eventually making our way to level 8! read more
