Monika and her staff helped us set up our event to perfection. The caterers at the hall helped us create an amazing array of food that even our fussy eaters enjoyed. From appetizer to dessert it all tasted so good. As well, Monika worked with the decorator to help arrange everything before the party and after the party to ensure nothing was left. Even things we didn't think about the two of them and sure we're done. It won't be for a while, but the next party I host I know where I will be hosting it! The atmosphere is really nice and relaxed. The staff are great. I've never had an unfriendly server or bad service at Ritchie Mill. The food here is decent. It's nothing to write home about, but it's not too shabby. Ritchie Mill is unique so it's a cool place. If you're looking for a chilled out place to hang with friends - check it out. If you're looking for a nice dinner, I'd go elsewhere.

They told us to finish our cake downstairs....12, 3-5 year old move downstairs and finish the cake. That would have been so chaotic, they didn't care. One asked me if I wanted to take the drinks downstairs then another started pouring old drinks into the jugs, so there went that idea. And the free birthday t-shirt was a small but like a looks more like a large against my daughter. She won't be able to wear it for another 1-2 years. It was a stressful time. There's an assortment of tables and chairs that are included when you rent. One feature of the hall that people may not like is that one of the walls is covered in mirroring. As someone who is incredibly vain, I didn't mind it but I can see how it might not be other people's cup of tea. The rest of the walls are just regular white brick. What is really great about this hall is the management. They are so kind and understanding about any concerns. We were allowed to use the kitchen (provided we weren't using the stoves) without incurring any extra cost, which was awesome because we had so many desserts that needed to be kept in the fridge until the event started. I highly recommend this venue if you are holding an event. It's more reasonably priced than a lot of the other halls out there and the management is so laid back and helpful.
