DO NOT use this company for any tow purposes! They will damage your vehicle, driver will admit he did as you call him out on his carelessness, then management will deny fixing or repairing the damage they caused. Avoid this company at all cost and if they are selected as part of AAA tow service, request another company! read more

Action Southland Towing - Behind mcdonald on Garden Grove...Ryan #126775 was so fast Friendly and professional...turned my problem gladness. Highly recommend - Towing Near Me - Stanton, California

Don't use this company for tow! My car was slightly lowered and the tow truck didn't know how to load the car properly. Instead of trying to load it with wood and the proper technique, he just started naming reasons why he can't do it. He then submitted pictures and made it impossible for me to get a tow off the side of the freeway when the car needed to get off for my safety and everyone else involved. They then called the police on me. I called a private company and they came out within 30 minutes and loaded the car within 5. Super easy process since all this tow guy had to use was a 4x4 to load the car properly but was incompetent of doing so. Used a proper tow company and they got me off the road and back home safely with no issues or complaining like this company. read more

I swear I'm the queen of flat tires!! Anyhow, i was in Westminster around 8:30pm and got a effing flat tire. This time it went flat from 42 to 0 within 3 minutes! Pulled up at a gas station and called AAA. 26 miles from home and it was dark and scary... Luckily my 45 mins wait was only 3 mins! CHRIS arrived and saved the day!!! After installing the spare, he added air to my spare tire, made sure everything was in tack, helped put my full size flat in my trunk and all within 10 minutes. Here's the part where it shows he genuinely cares for his customers, he gave us instructions to go less than 50 miles per hour and advise to not panick that the tire reading will alert warning because of the spare. He also gave us directions to go local if I want or go slow or just to keep right lane on freeway! read more

We had requested a tow thru AAA and was sent Ryan K from Action Southland Towing. He was so kind and helpful. Got us back up and running & even followed us to make sure all was good. Such a nice man. read more

This towing company responds on behalf of AAA calls and they are a few of those impound employees with a heart& personality, unlike most other Tow Yards. The employees thrive off of charging you hundreds of dollars just to secure your belongings and the employees have very little customer service skills and could care less if you ever get your car released & are ruthless trained to charge an arm& a leg as per daily rates and fine print. Most tow yards are looking to maximize all charges, pay off law enforcement their portion and require documentation to prove you are the registered owner responsible for impound. incur in order to get belongings out of vehicle and could care less about one's details or struggle to come up with exorbitant per diem expenses which can cost up to $5,000 per two days in the lot which just adds up more to the total God forbid you can't come up with the money. There are no fee waivers nor do they assist low income people whom live out of their car. Moreover, Southland towing expediently arrived to help out with gas in which I had to pay $10 for 2 gallons delivered by the technician Marcelino. I've never run out of gas before but they provide the gas can and charge $10 flat rate to deliver it and these service techs obviously work off of tips. so it is always a good measure to tip tow truck drivers. The gas was not the answer as my vehicle still wouldn't start so it was unable to be moved and I then required a flatbed so I waited 15 minutes to have my car towed to Mercedes so the dealership can effectively address the problem. It's up to me to decide if I will follow through w/their service advisements but the car dealership knows its own cars better than any mechanic and will run all diagnostics, make all service suggestions and then provide you with an estimate from their Service Department. Dealerships are priciest place to get car tended to but they always stand behind their work. which is often covered under manufacturer warranty unless your car has more 175,000 miles on it. providing warranty on almost all work performed. Dealerships stick behind the quality and efficacy of their work regardless of year and make if car, if it has 175,000 miles or lower, your still eligible for manufacturer warranty and roadside assistance. Mercedes and their imported parts require an import technician able to run the error codes that often come up in German when the car is in need of certain services so it's best to bring to a dealership as they can eradicate those error codes that most can't read. The Mercedes technicians search for the issues impairing the vehicle and you can wait at dealership, eat popcorn and drink cappuccino or rent a loaner vehicle of your choosing and then ignore their call for a few Mercedes loaner vehicles do not say "courtesy car" on the back of it so you don't look like a dork indicating your just test driving a new vehicle, but thank you Southland for your help as Mike and Marcelino are both are a dynamic duo and great representation of a pleasant a pleasant tow yard experience, Unfortunately, I needed a flatbed to move my disabled vehicle; however, the men of Southland Towing are actually human unlike most tow yard employees throughout the world and work to accommodate the customer and assess the issue. Mike over at the office and Marcelino in the field were both epitome of patient and professional representatives to assist me as a AAA member seeking to get my car to start. Instead of calling AAA, I will be calling Southland to request service as I value their work and customer service. Located in city of Stanton for quality service & quick dispatch that met and assisted with my roadside needs. You have been my go to tow yard since I was a resident of Stanton and you're worth the wait for 15 minute drive to help throughout OC as I have car issues in another city. Remember, always tip your tow truck driver, as they depend on gratuity for all their hard work and always requires effectively loading your car, turning and completing manual labor to relocate your vehicle and effectively deliver AAA members cars within 5 miles of said destination, unless you have AAA plus which tows up to 100 miles anywhere in the US, very convenient and reliable peace of mind for drivers everywhere. read more

Marcelino went above and beyond when I had to call AAA for a dead battery. I was honestly pretty stressed and frustrated with AAA (not him!) and he picked up on that right away. From the moment he arrived, he was calm, patient, and incredibly kind. You can tell he genuinely cares about the people he's helping, not just getting the job done. I'm really grateful he was the one who showed up to fix my car. Service like that is rare, and it deserves to be recognized. Thank you, Marcelino! read more

Matt from Action Southland Towing provided an excellent customer service experience during our recent AAA service on a Sunday. Our car was behaving unusually, so we decided to call AAA for assistance. We were quoted a wait time of about an hour, but Matt arrived within 45 minutes. He tested our car battery to confirm the issue, and we chose to purchase a battery replacement as recommended, which came with a 3-year warranty from AAA. Matt also took the time to educate us on battery longevity and shared important information that helps us recognize the signs of a dying battery to prepare for a replacement. The cost of the battery is set by AAA and is reasonable compared to other batteries on the market -- if you also consider that they come to you and not the other way around. Thank you, Matt, for your outstanding service! read more

Ryan kacer #126775 provided excellent service. Very nice guy and went above and beyond!

Requested service was given an eta of 50 mins... waiting and tracked the driver for 40 mins before getting a call that they were canceling for being out of their area at that point he was less then 3 miles away from me. Unreliable lack of communication and lack of accountability. read more

I had a flat tire at home. They sent a guy out to put the spare on. He put the spare on and said he was done. We I got into the car the spare was flat. The driver didn't check it. Then I called back for a tow to the tire shop. To make a long story short the tow truck driver tried to drive the car out of the driveway and he damaged part of the bumper. It scraped the bottom and pulled it away from the frame a litlle. Jim at Action Southland Towing said they are not going to fix it. It sounds like the tow truck diver lied. This is who AAA sent to help me. I hope AAA never sends them back. I would rather park the car and walk. read more

Don't trust action southland towing. The will leave you stranded simply because they don't want to be inconvenienced to help you. Poor customer service only interested in the most expensive tow they can get. I spoke to Mike on the phone and he was rude and did not help at all. Use anyone else or you will be stranded for hours. read more

Top notch professionals! Jim and Juan saved the day! They are HONEST, reliable and fair in their pricing. I was in a real pickle and called Jim at Action Southland. Jim understood the problem and came up with a fair and affordable solution. My car would not start and to make matters worse, it would not go into neutral to roll up onto a flatbed so I needed a special dolly tow. Since the car needed to be towed almost 20 miles, that complicated things even further because you need an experienced professional driver to pull this off for longer distances.....enter my main man, Juan Baltazar! Juan is a real problem solver and knows exactly what needs to be done. He is courteous, intelligent, kind, understanding, extremely professional and most importantly, he got the job done!!
